Let's cool it on the age jokes. It's not funny, and it just makes you look foolish. (I don't like McCain either, by the way.)- SheilaNoya, on 05/16/2008, -2/+2OK - sorry for the bad attempt at humor, but age is a HUGE issue in this campaign. McCain is out of touch and still thinks we're living in the 1950s, especially when you look at his foreign policy. Military might is not our only playing card in this modern global environment.
In addition, McCain has already admitted that he's never used a computer and doesn't know how they work. He also claimed that he's never used email before and "let's his wife handle that stuff". America is falling behind the rest of the world in technology and we can't afford to have a president who isn't even curious enough to try out the biggest innovation in America during the last 50 years.
McCain seems like a great guy to have a drink with, but he's out of touch with what's going on in the world and would be a horrible president at this critical point in time.- thejimmyo, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3"age is a HUGE issue in this campaign"
I don't think so, especially if we're just going to argue with crude stereotypes. I agree with you that his foreign policy and technology plans are major issues, but I don't chalk them up to age. In the future, you might be better off making those points directly, rather than vaguely saying that he's out of touch because of his age. If nothing else, you should realize that starting arguments over his age distracts from your otherwise valid points, and just looks mean-spirited to those who aren't already on-board with you (and to some of us who are).

- livegreenordie, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3 I think they would make a cute couple!
- Ridgeliner7, on 05/16/2008, -5/+3This submission is a part of the old politics of hate Barack Obama has denounced, it is lame, and not at all helpful to the campaign. I wish you amateurs would stop this *****....it does to us what Clinton and her people did to themselves. Get it? I realize you think this kind of stuff helps, but it doesn't. Check yourselves, okay? If you agree McCain is out of touch, make the point politely, with facts, not cheap shots! We need to win millions of middle of the road voters, and such posts turns them off big time. While many of us might think them disgusting, Huckabee's comments, are the at all germain to the campaign? No. He is not running for President. Neither is George Bush, or any members of his family.
- actorboy, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1I take McCain at his word that he was not referring to Giuliana. But I think that Rudy Giuliana needs to explain why he likes parading around in a dress, why he has worn that dress in front of brave young Americans, and why he prefers wearing that dress to embracing his masculinity. That’s what I think Mayor Giuliani ought to explain to the American people
- Stevanoski, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1McCain may have scars from his internment in the communist prison camp and the torture he endured there so he may not look good in a dress.
