Like Wellstone, Nelson-Pallmeyer's a college professor in MN

startribune.com — Al Franken frequently invokes the name of his friend, the late Sen. Paul Wellstone, as a major inspiration. For months, Nelson-Pallmeyer rarely got more than passing mention in coverage of MN's Senate race. Nelson-Pallmeyer is to Franken's left on just about everything, and he's starting to gain traction in his bid for the DFL endorsement.
