Join or Die ‘08 - "Ron Paul admirers" for McCain
joinordie08.com — Quote: "We stand at a time where the buzz word is Change. What happened to Reform or Revolution? We stand against Socialism and another Democratic Party takeover. This is a crossroad. We are voting Republican and holding them accountable. Will you stand with us? We are Ron Paul admirers who will vote for John McCain in November!"

- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -6/+15Maybe two Ron Paul admirers will vote for McWarmonger.
There's no way I would ever vote for McAmnesty and his goofy plans. He's no different than the other Senators. Voting for him gains us nothing.- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -4/+6DIAF, Cashman.
- dshPls, on 04/11/2008, -1/+4Cash, you're a minority, the polls and results of the election thus far have proven me right. Your crazy ideals are exactly what sunk Ron Paul's ship.
- Kythas, on 04/11/2008, -0/+1So Hillary or Obama are better?
- aliaakbar, on 04/10/2008, -11/+4It's better than GOVERNMENT control of EVERYTHING with Hillary or Obama! Don't be so idealistic that you trap yourself in a farce bud!
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -4/+10There's not a damn bit of difference between the three Senators.
- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -4/+9So sez trooferbot Cashman. Needless to say, I didn't expect you'd be joining in. Reality is not your strong suit.
- PSWTyrant, on 04/11/2008, -2/+3Voting for the least worse candidate got us Bush. McCrazy should never get near the nuclear button, he is clearly unfit to be commander in chief. I'll find a decent third party candidate or write in Ron Paul.
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -4/+10There's not a damn bit of difference between the three Senators.
- jeanine22, on 04/10/2008, -9/+12McCain = military industrial complex
Ron Paul = Liberty- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -7/+10Don't you think there's a LITTLE more about these two men than pithy phrases? That's it?
- vault, on 04/10/2008, -5/+10You know there wouldn't even be an internet if not for the military industrial complex?
I think you owe them (the whole complex) an apology. - cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -4/+5The fact is that McCain is a Democrat, just like the other two Senators who want to rule the world.
There's no way anyone who respects the Constitution can vote for any Senator, they all fail in that regard.- vault, on 04/10/2008, -6/+13So unless everyone's as ultra far right John Birch Society as you are, then they're a Democrat? Got it, cashman.
The people don't want Ron Paul...it's that simple.- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -6/+5Really? I guess you asked all of us whether we want a globalist warmonger? People like you make me sick. You try to tell others that there's a difference between the three Senators and there isn't. If not Ron Paul then some other candidate who will put the united Sates first will get my vote and that isn't McCain. Look at his voting record, he's a Democrat. Wake up.
I am not a John Bircher but agree with many of their points so if you intended that as an insult you failed.- vault, on 04/10/2008, -5/+13No, I didn't have to ask every individual person in the country if they want Paul. The primaries did that for me.
Anyway, go ahead and ask a Democrat if they're voting for Obama/Hillary or McCain.
Yes, McCain is more liberal than Paul. So what? An ultra far right politician has no chance following a guy like Bush...a Republican moderate is the smartest thing the Republicans could have done for 2008.
- vault, on 04/10/2008, -5/+13No, I didn't have to ask every individual person in the country if they want Paul. The primaries did that for me.
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -7/+4The primaries are not over yet. Perhaps you should wake up to the real world where Mccain is not the nominee until after the delegates are counted at the convention. Your confusion as to the process is amazing.
- vault, on 04/10/2008, -3/+11Mathematically impossible, brother.
- dshPls, on 04/11/2008, -2/+9Haha dude you're ***** insane if you still think Paul has any shot at the nom. Your money was wasted along with your time.
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 04/11/2008, -1/+6Nice blimp though.
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -6/+5Really? I guess you asked all of us whether we want a globalist warmonger? People like you make me sick. - insane11, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4Hehe, rule the world...
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 04/11/2008, -0/+6Gee Hillary, what are we going to do tomorrow night at 3 am?
Same thing we do every night Billy, TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 04/11/2008, -0/+6Gee Hillary, what are we going to do tomorrow night at 3 am?
- vault, on 04/10/2008, -6/+13So unless everyone's as ultra far right John Birch Society as you are, then they're a Democrat? Got it, cashman.
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 04/11/2008, -1/+6Ron Paul = Big Shrimp Industrial Complex
- tamckissick, on 04/10/2008, -5/+12There's no way two Ron Paul admirers will vote for McWarmonger. He's got no chance against Obama. If people want to support the GOP against the Dems, the only way is to rally around Paul. War experience or not, he's an economical idiot, a social idiot, a foreign policy parrot and constantly calls his flopping around "the straight talk". If I hear him refer to us as "friends" again, I'm gonna scream.
We need someone who has morals, ethics, an education, insight to the root of our problems and convictions in charge. There's only one man running with all that.- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -4/+9That's fine, tamckissick--I fail to see how Ron Paul is going to stop Obama, though. He's already had his shot, and came up short in every primary. You guys gave it your best effort, and you did a great job raising money for him. It just wasn't enough to sway public opinion in his favor. Lots of money doesn't necessarily mean voters will accept the message (see also: Ross Perot and Mitt Romney). The truth is, you're light-years closer to Ron Paul with McCain than you are with Obama or Hillary. And no, he is not an "economical" idiot--his point was plainly that 1) he didn't have an answer to the question at hand and doesn't bluff his way through things, and 2) it is not his area of deepest expertise. After two decades on the Hill plus his leadership on cutting gubmint spending, don't you think it's a little simplistic to think he's an "idiot?" Or is it just because he's not for the gold standard? Is *everyone* who's not a strict follower of Austrian economic theory an idiot? And if so, do you realize that it's almost certain you will never see a President that agrees with you to a tee?
Furthermore, a "social idiot?" How is he so different from RP on social issues? They're both pro-life, both oppose the gay marriage amendment, etc.
He is no foreign policy "parrot," either--he opposed Bush time and time again regarding how the Iraq war was being conducted, as well as w/r/t Rumsfeld. I don't know who he's parroting, but if you do, I'm all ears.
Morals, ethics, education, insight, convictions, AND solutions and the ability to implement the solutions. That IS John McCain. If you are at all serious about the election, you should seriously do the research--and not in the typical echo chambers like Digg, where the amateurs parrot "100 year war!!!1one!" and "economic idiot," "McWarmonger," "he's old!" and other such inane drivel.- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -6/+5Social idiot is one who believes the Constitution is irrelevant and bombing the crap out of people makes them your friend.
- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -5/+10Ah, *****, everything you say is *****, Cashman. I'm not even going to dignify your brainless chanting with anything but a bury.
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -3/+5If he was really opposed he would have demended a war declaration. Then there could have been hearings and issues could have been decided before our boots hit the ground. Our entry into Iraq is just as much the fault of McCain as anyone else.
Oh, and I am gld you decided not to reply anymore, your inanity was wearing on me.
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -6/+5Social idiot is one who believes the Constitution is irrelevant and bombing the crap out of people makes them your friend.

- Kangalanatolian, on 04/10/2008, -4/+8I respectfully suggest using your skills to ensure a fair election next time. Paper ballots, stored and counted in public for instance.
Picture the indoor common area of your local mall. Every ballot you might possibly need is stacked there, individually numbered. The name of every voter is in the books there, ready to be crossed off the list as they vote. The place is open 24/7 for the entire election period. All ballots go into a common clear containers, not to be removed from sight or disturbed until time to count.
Counting done by hand (calculators OK) with absolutely no programmable equipment, and under the watchfull eye of anyone who wants to observe.
The stores would love the added security and the extra business. Many would stay open 24/7 as well.- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -4/+6I have no problem with fair elections and better accountability at all. It's not an either-or situation, you know. You CAN support a candidate and still demand fair elections.
- bamapachyderm, on 04/10/2008, -5/+8Read the blog while you're there (I'm assuming you DID click through)...
http://joinordie08.com/2008/04/09/to-tears/- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -4/+6Nobody will spport McCain if they have supported Ron Paul. McCain is just another globalist warmonger. We gain nothing from supporting him, nothing at all.
- cashman57, on 04/10/2008, -4/+10If you are going to support McCain you might as well burn all of your money and throw your assets into a vat of acid because an economic mental midget like Mccain in the presidency will have the same result.
- whch, on 04/10/2008, -4/+11Vote for McCain? No. Nope. Not. No way. Nah. Nyet. Nunca jamas. Jamais. Never. Got it?
- billyjack1958, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1wut whch sez
- MaynardJK, on 04/11/2008, -4/+7***** McCain. I am as conservative as they come but I will vote for Hillary before I ever vote for that scumbag. I am going to vote for Paul as a write-in.
- JustinTX, on 04/11/2008, -7/+6Voting for a Neo-Con is as bad if not worse than voting Democrat.
I'm writing in Ron Paul.- JustinTX, on 04/12/2008, -1/+2Enter the Ron Paul Bury Brigade
- billyjack1958, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2oops...accidentally clicked wrong
Any vote not cast for Ron Paul is a vote cast for the destructive status quo. I am choosing to try to save our beloved republic and Ron Paul is our Only hope for that. I will vote for Ron Paul No Matter What.

- Dimalinch, on 04/11/2008, -3/+5Why would I abandon my principles and vote for someone who is completely different from Ron Paul?
- CaptainNoPants, on 04/11/2008, -4/+4You need to pick your battles. He isn't going to get enough write-in votes to make any kind of difference, and what happens if McCain wins? The votes that went to Paul that could have been used for someone other than McCain are going to be worthless.
- JustinTX, on 04/12/2008, -0/+2What a ridiculous argument. If McCain doesn't represent the principals we share and we shouldn't write in Ron Paul, then who are you suggesting that we vote for? Hillary? Obama?
If the hundreds of thousands that voted for him in the primaries wrote him in it would be a pretty clear message to the Republican party that we aren't just going to fall in line and continue to let them ***** this country up.
How could any true Paleo-Conservative even THINK about voting for big-government candidates like Clinton or Obama?!? Or any "Neo-Con"*?
*(Quite a misnomer if you ask me, there isn't much "conservative" about them. They want to use a strong central government to run your life just like the Democrats.)- CaptainNoPants, on 04/12/2008, -0/+2I'm not suggesting you vote for anyone in particular, but if McCain gets elected ***** will most definitely hit the fan. It is true, however, that voting for the lesser of two evils still leaves you with evil.

- Erich100, on 04/16/2008, -0/+4This can't be real. Anyone who believed in Ron Paul couldn't switch to McCain. He is no more like Ron Paul than Hillary or Obama.
- allanj37, on 04/22/2008, -0/+3Seriously, almost no RP supporter is going to vote McCain.
