John McCain, tyrant in waiting?
nielsenhayden.com — If you ’re like a lot of my friends, you have the vague notion that John McCain would be a tolerable Republican president, certainly an improvement on the current nitwit. Nothing could be further from the truth, as Matt Welch lays out in the Los Angeles Times.

- alapoet, on 07/05/2008, -2/+9I really hope this McCain guy doesn't fool enough people to get elected.
- SheilaNoya, on 07/05/2008, -1/+10McCain has already surrounded himself with all of the same PNAC War Profiteers and incompetent cronies that controlled Bush.
McCain seems like a nice old guy, but the people he depends on are the same bunch that got us into the mess we're in now. I don't think McCain is a "Tyrant", but I do think that we're screwed if he gets elected, since everyone around him is the same as if Bush were still in office. NOTHING is going to change if McCain becomes President. - Fangsinmybeard, on 07/06/2008, -1/+2John McCain, the corporate franchised named (like McDonalds) presidential candidate that never was, he's a god damn foreign born national you *****. He cannot hold the office of the presidency. It is constitutionally forbidden.
