- SpankkBankk, on 09/16/2008, -15/+7Barrack Obama's "friends' are radical activists who formed Wetherman.
- KiminCA, on 09/16/2008, -6/+5What an absurd thing to say-- and if you truly believe this, you are more than spun.
Senator Obama's friends include such folks as Warren Buffet, Ted Kennedy, David Axelrod, David Plouffe and so many more who are highly regarded by most of our society.
The Weathermen, incidentally-- you spelled it incorrectly-- were a radical group in the 1960's (when Senator Obama was a small child). He can no more have had anything to do with their formation, or goals, then Senator McCain could have had with the extinction of dinosaurs.
Do think before you post-- that is all that I ask of anyone.- ryan83189, on 09/16/2008, -3/+4I think he was referring to William Ayers and the like exclusively and not the people in that "who's who list" you just dropped. Thats not to say that Ayers was not a changed man when Obama met him, it was long after his radical days and he was probably pretty tame, but Warren Buffet he was not. Dropping irrelevant names to counter an argument is spin too.
- BungaloBill, on 09/17/2008, -0/+0You know it hurts when they go back to Ayers.
- MagnumX, on 09/17/2008, -0/+2You know it hurts that he's someone who reformed and became a college professor. If he had found god the right would call him a forgiven sinner and hail him as a hero.
I don't defend what he did, but there's a difference between warning people and giving them time to evacuate a building you bomb to avoid loss of life and a suicide bomber.
You want Ayers to be a link to a terrorist organization, but the Bush family have a long relationship with the Saudis who do fund terror (however indirectly they manage it), so check your own backyard. - BungaloBill, on 09/17/2008, -0/+0That directed to me or did you hit the wrong reply link?
- MagnumX, on 09/18/2008, -0/+1Sorry, got the wrong feel from the message...I getcha now. We're on the same side of the issue.

- nanoscare, on 09/16/2008, -2/+5The only "friends" McCain has are lobbyists. Telecommunications? Check. Big Oil? Check. Wall Street Bankers? Check.
After 30 years in Washington, McCain is Washington incarnate. - OhgReaTone, on 09/16/2008, -1/+4When the con man approaches you and says "My friend, trust me..." you had better hold on to your wallet. ........

- meese, on 09/17/2008, -3/+2For once MoveOn produces a half decent ad that doesn't just preach to the choir.
- zadadka, on 09/17/2008, -0/+2*stumbles backwards on mock surprise*
- p9s50W5k4GUD2c6, on 09/17/2008, -0/+2"My Friends" I so despise that phrase coming from McCain's mealy mouth.
We are NOT your friends, Johnny!
Good ad and a great back-at-ya play. - amirshahkarami, on 09/25/2008, -0/+1Stay informed.
