http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d667NAI9HIM- alex98101, on 08/08/2008, -5/+29Wow you sure showed them. Way to fight fire with ... uh... sparkler? Truly an epic beat down though.
- CryRightardCry, on 08/08/2008, -9/+32"America is no longer what it could be... what it once was".
What part of that are you unable to grasp, o rightard shill?
Or are you just going to pretend you don't understand what he was talking about?
Actually, you probably don't understand, since he is commenting on the moral and ethical situation we find ourselves in and you rightards seem incapable of understanding ethical and moral issues. - QuadZeroRoute, on 08/09/2008, -22/+2##### the *****.
- rabidjester, on 08/09/2008, -0/+20You know, when 90 percent of Americans think the country is on the wrong track...well, you already know.
You guys aren't even trying this year. - thatsmyaibo, on 08/09/2008, -12/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbpWonUzlrc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpGH02DtIws- NiGHTSChao, on 08/09/2008, -1/+3I love how you posted that, as if its somehow even on the same level of stupidity as McCain
- NiGHTSChao, on 08/09/2008, -1/+3I love how you posted that, as if its somehow even on the same level of stupidity as McCain
- cloak419, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1The biggest reason why we appear so disconnected and delusional to the rest of the world when it comes to being involved in our own government is because all we ever do is act like we're the ***** ***** and have everything's going right for us, when in reality we don't, our nation has a problem and we have to do something about it.
LibertyForever, face the facts because when we don't, nothing get's done. And come the time when I'm about to retire and cant collect my retirement money because of presidential candidate like McCain spent it all on the war just cause he got a swollen prostate, I'm gunna be real pissed knowing that most of us just sat scratching our asses instead of taking back the nation that rightfully belongs to US, the people, not a red and white government who constantly lies to us and screws over our rights like FISA and the Patriot Act.
You know, I'm really proud to be a member of Digg, just because I know that people are awake, the American people want change, but the thing is beyond Digg, in the real world we don't talk like this, we don't seem like we care at all. And it makes me sad as to why we've just let this happen... Some of you know what I'm talking about, you can reply to all the stories here about the candidates and what needs to be done all you want but in reality we're being ignored and pushed aside and some of us just don't give two spits, too busy watching a MSM channel feed our celebrity obsession or clog our minds up with stuff that isn't even news.
I was the first born U.S. citizen in my family, and I'll be damned if I grow up knowing that I saw my own country fall at the age of 18 because people can't face the truth. - Redzin, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1He's absolutely right though.
I think it's quite fun how all the McCain supporters keep trying to dig up dirt on Obama, and yet they fail when they do...
And even if Obama had said straight out "America sucks! It's ***** *****, move away!" then it would still not be half as bad as the lying and deceptive ***** that is McCain (aka Bush 2.0). Sure, Obama isn't perfect or whatever you're trying to show, but McCain is just a lot, lot worse. ;)

Soul of a woman was created below. yeah!
(sweet guitar riff) - FutureGuy, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2"I am going to veto every beer".. its real shame that such a guy is about to get nominated to represent a major party for the presidential election, he is the best GOP could come up with?
- kd1s, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1No doubt about it, his short term memory is shot to ***** and he's a mean and cantankerous old bastard.
- MoDinero, on 08/08/2008, -12/+135When they said four more years of Bush, I thought it was policy and not his ***** ability to ***** up speeches and talking points.
- brentinkc, on 08/09/2008, -3/+39In all fairness, he actually has a fantastic ability to ***** up speeches and talking points.
- whiterice0, on 08/09/2008, -23/+3HuffPo garbage. Never to be trusted.
- haydesigner, on 08/09/2008, -2/+19Yeah... they TOTALLY faked all that video footage. Man, CGI is SO GOOD these days!
- ordago, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1Yeah, looks shopped.
- sagegoku666, on 08/09/2008, -5/+2look i'd consider moving out of the US if he gets elected just as seriously as the average digg user, but most of mccain's slip-ups in this video arent points i'd criticize him on, for god sakes he was tortured. he ***** earned the right to stutter. all in all though, its ironic considering bush's reputation for speech
- toetagger, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2Well, if he is damaged by the torture, I pity him, but I sure don't want his finger on the button.
- bcclist, on 08/08/2008, -20/+3long hours but somebody is younger and can still make judgment calls.
- meltlight, on 08/08/2008, -8/+74Why isn't THIS stuff in Obama's response ads to Paris and Britney??
- ReidFleming, on 08/08/2008, -5/+45Don't worry, it'll all be very clear in the debates.
- altgeeky1, on 08/09/2008, -1/+16If McCain is smart, he'll wear a hearing piece like Bush, and do as few debates as possible.
Watch for it, this is so true. He'll shirk the debates and try to saturate the airwaves with ads instead (using Hess oil money and Jordanian business money) - nfury8ing, on 08/09/2008, -0/+0Psh, at least Hess has those really cool toy trucks.
When you have those, who cares about politics? - IslandDog, on 08/09/2008, -2/+1You mean the debates where the Obamessiah isn't scripted and doesn't have pre-arranged questions from the "audience"?
- ReidFleming, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1Yes, those debates. You may have trouble following them what with your fingers in your ears and you yelling, "na, na, na, na... I can't hear you."
- altgeeky1, on 08/09/2008, -1/+16If McCain is smart, he'll wear a hearing piece like Bush, and do as few debates as possible.
- ObamAmerican48, on 08/09/2008, -3/+6If, by some tragic twist of fate this old fart gets elected, I'm moving out of the United States, because our country will cease to be the United States if the repugnantcan conservatives continue to enforce their brand of leadership, which is no leadership at all.
- FGJfighter, on 08/09/2008, -0/+3let's all move to canada!
- mrinsanity, on 08/09/2008, -1/+3Wow @ "repugnantcan"
- Dustmuffins, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1You probably said the same thing in the 2004 election of Bush.
- zardoz73, on 08/09/2008, -2/+3Obama himself can sound bad, with bits taken out of context here and there. He's more of a thinker than a speaker. He can write a fantastic speech, but can stumble and stammer a lot when answering spontaneously.
Because of that, the Obama campaign would be wise to let others air this stuff.- Brad324, on 08/09/2008, -1/+3it's sad that McCain appears to be neither a thinker or a speaker.... how exactly did he get the GOP nomination again? I think Romney would be faring much better in this election.
- KJSatz, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2Obama in the Democratic debates was good but not great. McCain in the Republican debates was *****. He only won because he was every Republican's second or third choice.
- ReidFleming, on 08/08/2008, -5/+45Don't worry, it'll all be very clear in the debates.
- stormkrow, on 08/08/2008, -12/+125The only job this man is capable of is as your local Wal-Mart greeter complete with "Happy Face" stickers.
Only a complete fool could possibly even considering voting for this bumbling geriatric unintelligent shrew.- Rotzooi, on 08/08/2008, -4/+24Not fools per se, it's only the most extreme partisan hacks, at the core of the Republican party, who are still latching onto McCain like puppies on a bitch. Sane, true conservatives have left a long time ago.
- Murdats, on 08/09/2008, -1/+7those people sound like fools to me.
- pdizz, on 08/10/2008, -0/+1The core is the same group of people who hated McCain 8 years ago

- Jedi113, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1I'm praying that this doesn't happen again a third time.
- k3y5rmy1if3, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2Whom would that be? 0 _ 0
- teacherwp, on 08/11/2008, -1/+0A vote for Barak is a vote for failing schools. Most research shows school unions are the reason most public schools are failing. Barak loves unions and wants to give them more control. McCain is the only clear choice and only candidate with any experience! check out www.teachers4mccain.com
- Rotzooi, on 08/08/2008, -4/+24Not fools per se, it's only the most extreme partisan hacks, at the core of the Republican party, who are still latching onto McCain like puppies on a bitch. Sane, true conservatives have left a long time ago.
- makenshin, on 08/08/2008, -36/+8Can't stand McCain? Consider supporting Bob Barr for President. Why not help Barr with his campaign or help him get more media exposure. The media always mentions how Barr is the Nader of '08 or the Republican spoiler, in that his base comes right out of McCain's supporters.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
http://www.bobbarr2008.com/- Lyk4n, on 08/09/2008, -4/+6So now instead of Paul, there are Barrtards on Digg?
- DavidGX, on 08/09/2008, -1/+5We had ron paul, we don't need another retarded can't-win candidate, thanks.
- CourtesyFlush, on 08/09/2008, -1/+2You don't like who the Tellyvision chose for you?! Why, you must be a retard or something! Everybody goes with the guy on TV!
Apparently, Americans don't want too much change.
They'd rather just talk about it ad nauseam and pretend more of the same two party ***** will change things. - ParaSwarm, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2Sorry, I liked Mike Gravel. Bob Barr didn't deserve the nomination.
- merlin484, on 08/08/2008, -16/+7"Fool me once, shame on... shame on you..... fool me ya can't get fooled again!"
- ReidFleming, on 08/08/2008, -9/+48How do you type out that lame little chuckle/laugh? hhhhuhh, hhhehhhh... uhuhhhh. That's going to get really old over the next several months.
- tjmb9, on 08/09/2008, -1/+12He wants to be loved so badly. Maybe it has something to do with the ordeals he went through as a younger man, but that grin that spreads across his face every time people clap for him is kind of cute, in a feeble old man kind of way.
- IslandDog, on 08/09/2008, -3/+1Just as old as the "change" Bs we hear from Obama.
- ReidFleming, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1I agree with you. Everything is great right now. Why would we want change? America! America! Stay the course!!!
- illusionweaver, on 08/08/2008, -14/+28That's not change we can believe in.
- seraph582, on 08/09/2008, -25/+4Obama bot 2.0 is efficient.

- motivatedmama, on 08/09/2008, -9/+59Facepalm the whole time. It's astounding that this man is running for president but even more astounding that some will actually vote for him!
- sulthernao, on 08/09/2008, -2/+23It's astounding that this guy is worse than Bush when it comes to speaking.
- GassyTurd, on 08/09/2008, -1/+6I wouldn't hire this jackass to water my lawn.
- flano1, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2Can someone please explain for people outside the US how this man can be one of only two candidates in this election? What I mean to ask is, who exactly is it will vote for him? For us there is just no question as to who should become president.
- MarsSentinel, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2The Republicans know this isn't their year. They chose McCain as a throwaway candidate. They will run him, pretend to try, but knowing all along he is a fake: not a real contender. Nothing to lose, no one cares if he is "ruined".
:
- jei731, on 08/09/2008, -14/+53Just what USA needs: A SENILE OLD FART to bring more wars.
- burjzyntski, on 08/09/2008, -3/+8He's been dazed and confused for SOOOOOO long it's not true...
- daninspokane, on 08/09/2008, -12/+4Go look up Obama's stance on Afghanastan and Pakistan. Please. I could explain it to you... but that would mean you didn't have to work for it. Let's just say it involves.. going to war.. and sending US troops to places...
- BuLong, on 08/09/2008, -1/+7Go look up how you spell "Afghanastan", then come back and comment.
And just because both candidates suck, doesn't mean they suck equally. The "SENILE OLD FART" problem is bad enough on its own.
- BuLong, on 08/09/2008, -1/+7Go look up how you spell "Afghanastan", then come back and comment.
- superior1, on 08/09/2008, -31/+25After hundreds or thousands of speeches, you're bound to make a few mistakes. It's really not a big deal and really shouldn't influence anybody's feelings about his ability to lead.
- Sil369, on 08/09/2008, -11/+6u left out /sarc
- Speed, on 08/09/2008, -1/+10It's not that he makes mistakes, it's that he makes so many mistakes and they aren't mistakes you should be making. I can forgive talking about Czechoslovakia and even saying Putin is still President of Russia (and even saying he President of Germany), but stuff like claiming Iran is training Al Qeada, unforgivable. Chances are he's not even having a senior moment and actually trying to scare the public. If he did make a mistake, then we can't have a leader in office who thinks Iran is training Osama Bin Ladins troops. (Also, who the hell schedules a press conference when the other party is going to announce the first major black candidate in US history? That's just stupid)
- Skywise, on 08/09/2008, -7/+3You mean like claiming there are 52 states?
- ReidFleming, on 08/09/2008, -1/+3Get your lameness right. He claimed 57 states while intending to say 47 states. I at least understand that kind of mistake. McCain has several times said, "I never said that" quickly followed by the video/audio evidence to the contrary.
- yojimbo911, on 08/09/2008, -16/+28I don't understand how McCain can compete. He's weaker than his opponent on every front. I'm virtually apolitical, don't care who wins, they're all bad for the country and the world. But to read that McCain's polls are close to Obama's, now in August, this surprises me. McCain, despite the best efforts of his campaign, has no chance---As he should not.
- Mantour, on 08/09/2008, -5/+36Nobody loves McCain but Lots of people hate Obama: Freepers and feces-throwing Hillary Supporters. If McCain wins, it will based on hate of the other guy, not competence.
- STPZ, on 08/09/2008, -2/+2In the coming weeks once a larger spotlight is shining on the election it wouldn't surprise me if the reason for an Obama victory is just what you pointed out, hate and dislike of the other choice.
- Sil369, on 08/09/2008, -5/+6u make it sound like american idol for presidents
- Remmiz, on 08/09/2008, -1/+11Welcome to America in the 21st century.
- Triskozko, on 08/09/2008, -0/+7If you think that one candidate is weaker than his opponent in every way, then for god's sake, at least vote. I know cynicism is popular on Digg but apathy is unhealthy for a democracy and has never solved anything.
- gobbleplex, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1It's because the two of them are doing their damndest to be carbon copies of each other with only minor differences. If both candidates are going to abandon the principles that got them where they are, we're left with an all-else-equal scenario. And in an all-else-being-equal scenario, the black guy will lose.
- FlaG8r, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2McCain isn't black
- ParaSwarm, on 08/09/2008, -1/+2Most Republicans will vote for somebody just because they're a republican. If it was Obama versus an armadillo, they would be quick to vote for the armadillo, just because they're so blindly faithful to their party. Also, when Rush directs them to vote for somebody, they obey without question.
- Mantour, on 08/09/2008, -5/+36Nobody loves McCain but Lots of people hate Obama: Freepers and feces-throwing Hillary Supporters. If McCain wins, it will based on hate of the other guy, not competence.

Representation before taxation? Hah - badnewshotel, on 08/09/2008, -2/+1Spankbitch - you're a ***** retard. Liberal today doesn't mean what it did 200+ years ago... you either need to know that or you need to shut your ignorant mouth. Liberal today is about government control over liberty, over taxation, less freedom, and socialist mentality. Until you are willing to admit that, then you are an epic failure. Go home, loser.
- eltrev, on 08/09/2008, -0/+3@ badnewshotel - you fail the most though, for these 2 reasons:
1 - You are angry, which makes your comment sound kinda gay and temper-tantrumish.
2 - You don't mention that both parties have morphed over time to become *****. So you are revealing your lack of perspective and the source of your anger - you are a one-sided repug, and you can't pull back from the "us vs them" simpleton world view.

- Nidy1, on 08/09/2008, -32/+28Anddd this is why Huffington Post is not a credible news site. The video was entertaining, but it destroys their credibility.
- jwoodcould, on 08/09/2008, -10/+8why? it is a video of a candidate making serious mental mistakes, some having to be corrected by his peers and the interviewers.
- Nidy1, on 08/09/2008, -10/+8"TPMtv takes the best of the worst John McCain gaffes, awkward pauses, and lame catchphrases and puts them all into one handy video reel"

- CourtesyFlush, on 08/09/2008, -4/+1"Progressives" are a funny lot.
They openly admit that the site they're promoting is excruciatingly biased, as if that makes it all ok.
The idea doesn't phase them at all. Skewed reporting is perfectly fine.....as long as they hear what they want.
"Yeah, I admit it. I steal."
"Well, then! Here's my wallet and all my money."
"And I lie."

The Matrix was a good movie, doesn't make it a credible account of humanity. (Why did I pick this example, I know someones going to make some joke about being part of the matrix)

Sure, that's the kind of site i wanna read and promote.
"Yeah, they're skewed as hell and wildly inaccurate."
"WOW! That's just what I want in a news source! Count me in!" - jcm267, on 08/09/2008, -4/+1Fox News has some of the most fair and balanced reporting in all of American TV news. The hard news reporting and (especially) Special Report with Brit Hume are spectacular. O'Reilly and H&C are what they are, with O'Reilly being a center-right blowhard who is willing to play devil's advocate when he's not throwing a tantrum and H&C being a very good point/counterpoint show with a conservative who has a more dominating personality than the liberal. And when you compare them to Olbermann or so-called "unbiased" shows like Anderson Cooper 360 (which I like) or Larry King Live, Fox's more biased shows really aren't that bad. You people just don't like Fox News because when their bias shows it's usually more to the right.
- Geiiga, on 08/09/2008, -1/+3AHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAA!
This post, by jcm267, is absolutely brilliant in so many ways:
"Fox News has some of the most fair and balanced reporting..." Demonstrably false.
"O'Reilly being a center-right...." Fascism is center-right now? Huh.
"...a conservative who has a more dominating personality than the liberal." Just for a moment getting over the giggle that you're calling moderate Alan Colmes a "liberal," that's by design. The conservative is this huge Irish blockhead, the "liberal" is a mousy unlikable moron. It's point-counterpoint, sure, but there's a reason that FoxNews viewers are, on average, more likely to vote Republican than the average registered Republican. - jcm267, on 08/09/2008, -1/+2@ Geiiga
Colmes is very likable, I find him to be just as likable as Hannity. They both come across as genuinely decent people on the air. You are just too indoctrinated into the far-left cult, as evidenced by your comment to me and your exclusively pro-Olbermann, pro-Obama, anti-Hillary, anti-McCain digging history.
O'Reilly is an *****, but he's certainly not a fascist.
Fox News is the fairest American TV news outlet, but that doesn't mean that they're completely unbiased. Again, the left just goes after Fox because their editorial slant is more to the right and the far-left liberals don't like opposing viewpoints to be heard.
My question to you, troll, is are there any conservatives in the media or active in the political scene that you actually like?
- CourtesyFlush, on 08/09/2008, -3/+2So. you admit that they're not fair......or balanced.
- jwoodcould, on 08/09/2008, -10/+8why? it is a video of a candidate making serious mental mistakes, some having to be corrected by his peers and the interviewers.

- ReidFleming, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1McCain keeps saying he wants to discuss things with Obama at a town hall instead of a formal debate. I can't see how that'll be an advantage given the widely-accepted consensus that Obama is one of the most gregarious politicians around.
- stormkrow, on 08/11/2008, -0/+1Come debate time Obama is going to hand McShame's ass to him with a neat little bow wrapped around it. And since you're asking "Why are there no Town Hall debates?"
Answer: Because the GOP is notorious for "vetting" the audience before they get tickets to the event. I am actually a fan of the current debate format: No MSM shrills, Bipartisan audience, and Real Questions.
Unlike at a Town Hall presided over by Karl Rove and their loonies out in the audience.

- jdenzer, on 08/09/2008, -3/+6No it is b/c you can't vote for a democrat. Ask yourself is there any democrat candidate of 08 primaries that you would vote over McCain?
I can tell you as a democrat that I would have voted for Romney, if it was Romney vs. Clinton. - kenn4000, on 08/09/2008, -4/+2you must work for exxon then?
- bsmang, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1Your point is very valid. But at the same time, you must admit there are a lot of the people slasher is talking about out here that will swear up and down they think like you do but are lying through their teeth. What sucks is that it's usually difficult to tell the difference without more information. To make things worse, most of the people who "can't vote for a *****" are far from being the brightest bulbs in the box and so they are doubly offended because Obama is not only headed for the top, but he's also clearly smarter than they are, which they view as somehow not possible.
- Geiiga, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2Well, if you prefer McCain's policies to Obama's it doesn't necessarily make you a racist. It does, however, make you an idiot.

Tell us about your efforts and receive points for your success! - stormkrow, on 08/11/2008, -0/+1Conservative: A person with such low IQ levels that they are easily programmed to believe anything and everything FIX news and the GOP is telling them regardless if it has any basis in truth or reality. Wishes they could live in 1956 all over again and thinks "Leave it to Beaver" and "Archie Bunker" is what America is supposed to be about.
Neo-Conservative: A person who believes so much in their own lies that they have become "fact" to them; and any who would dissent from their view is labeled as unpatriotic and should be sent to the nearest gulag. Typically a closeted homophobic war hawk with a trust fund and most always a coward who has never served. (See Also: Nazi, Aryan, White Supremacist, Zionist, Stalinist. Examples include: J Edgar Hoover, Darth Cheney and George "My daddy made millions banking for the Nazi's" Bush Sr.)

*Waits for liberal hope and change bandwagon hippy rebuttles.*- jwoodcould, on 08/09/2008, -10/+2um a microphone problem?
- WasabiBomb, on 08/09/2008, -8/+15I'm still trying to figure out how that compares to mixing up Sunnis and Shiites on four separate occasions, even after being corrected.
Nope, not seein' it. That all you got?
Oh, that's right- you've also got "57 states". Anything else? No?- Jamihabs, on 08/09/2008, -7/+257 states is pretty bad.
- WasabiBomb, on 08/09/2008, -1/+10No, it's really not. It's certainly believable that McCain can't remember the difference between Sunnis and Shiites, especially since he's screwed it up so many times, even after being corrected. Do you really think that Obama thinks there are 57 states?
I want to hear you say it. Come on- try to tell us that you think that a Presidential candidate, a US citizen, thinks that there are 57 states.
'Cause then we get to laugh at you. Well, more than we already do.
- daninspokane, on 08/09/2008, -9/+6I am simply pointing out that Obama isn't Mr. Star Speech. The Liberal Media highlights and picks apart anything they can get their hands on while they ignore and even bury equally embarassing situations from the Democrats. If you don't think there is a media bias then you need to take off your blinders.
I am sick of seeing rip after rip after rip on the Republican party get posted to the top and nothing but happy shiney positive hope and change messages about Obama and his awesome charisma. I want you to walk around on the street, ask random people why they like Obama. When you get answers other than "Well he is such a good speaker" "He is going to bring Hope and Change" let me know.
Want to get out of the middle east? Look up Obama's stance on Afghanastan/Pakistan... please.. .do it... i'll wait for you.- Geiiga, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2You're an idiot. Seriously. A complete and utter buffoon.
If John McCain wins this, it's because the "liberal media" gave it to him with their hypercritical view of Obama and their love affair with the "maverick" who votes with George W. Bush 98% of the time. Only 27% of news pieces on Obama are positive, compared with 43% for McCain. All you've got it "oh, he said 57 states when he meant 47" (yes, he meant 47. That was the number of primaries and caucuses he had competed in to that point).
And let's face it: Obama off-script is better than McCain on-script. Far better. And McCain off script is "Who's tired of four dollars a buck a guh a four dollars a gallon?"
- Geiiga, on 08/09/2008, -0/+2You're an idiot. Seriously. A complete and utter buffoon.

- runCMD, on 08/09/2008, -13/+5There is such a small but nasty core group of McCain critics here that its sad. They drive these conversations to distraction. Much more telling of their own empty hands that that of the candidate they bash. Unfortunately for Senator Obama - they stain his cause in an effort to discredit the Republican candidate. What he - as the novice in this race doesn't see - is that they will just as easily turn on him. In the name of Obama support - they spill their hateful, spiteful, verbal bile here and other blogs around the net. While he sits back and espouses tolerance and brotherhood - underneath, he tacitly approves this behavior. Take heed voters. Who will be the next target ? How much more evidence do you need that the fans that hang like weights around Senator Obamas ankles are not a positive force for change in this country. Don't fall for it. Step back .. take a deep breath. Turn off the TV and stop reading these blogs. Get out your news papers. Go read the candidates published writings, LISTEN to Obama read his own words from his memoir "Dreams from my father". Read or Listen to John McCains "Faith of my fathers". Learn the differences for yourself. BE at these town halls and debates if they come to your area. Don't bend to peer pressure from anyone. Vote with your conviction and not your apologies. Your future is up to you - not anyone else promising a brighter tomorrow - if you only elect them. You.

- rodrigo74, on 08/09/2008, -1/+2Good points, and you know what, maybe the McCain of 8 years ago was a viable candidate. But the sad truth is that he is not in his best conditions to endure 4, potentially 8 years as a president right now. And I am not saying that based on this video alone, every time I see him on TV it is obvious that the guy is senile and getting worst fast. Nothing wrong with that, I hope that I get into his age as fit as him, but it is just a fact. Still good to lead a _lot_ of stuff, but not to hold the most important position in the western world.
I digg you up, anyway, for the good recommendations (reading their books etc).- runCMD, on 08/09/2008, -0/+1great reply. So, with Obama's wretched history and McCain's advanced age - what's left ? You work with what you've got. And my preference is to take someone of character over someone without. If McCain should succumb to the pressure while in office .. that's what the vice president is there for.
- anniejmiller, on 08/09/2008, -1/+1Very good ideas. I just don't think McCain is physically capable of handling the stress of the office of President without adverse, if not fatal, consequences.
