Is Media’s McCain Love Affair Over?
firedoglake.com — Reporters forced to cover McCain's daily gaffes and dissembling must be frustrated. Whether it's McCain's battle to redefine "surge" or whining about every thing Obama does, reporters must surely realize the one thing they're not allowed to report.

The media are owned by defense contractors who are making a killing in Iraq and Afghanistan. War with Iran would mean more contracts and additional billions in profit for the parent companies of CBS, NBC, and other networks. So they question insignificant things about Obama, but don't touch McCain's skeletons with a ten foot pole.

Just think what the corporate- owned media ISN'T telling us about John McCain!
And vote accordingly.

- TeddySanFran, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3Senior moments, as chummily described by in-the-tank-for-the-GOP Fox "News" anchor Brit Hume, are another scary reason not to vote for McCain this fall.
