Iowa GOP refuses to report Keyes votes
alankeyes.com — DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Republican Party has neither counted nor reported the number of votes for Alan Keyes in the GOP caucuses held Jan. 3. Any undue interference with free and open elections, of the sort we think we just witnessed, is un-American.

- savvyconsumer7, on 01/05/2008, -1/+9It is just unbelievable how the elites are barring Alan Keyes from full and free participation in the electoral process.
- sp0rk, on 01/05/2008, -2/+10I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but this is absolutely ridiculous. They are certainly intimidated by Keyes.
- Minarchian, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1Are they protecting Huckabee?
- groovsmyth, on 01/06/2008, -0/+1They included Paul in the New Hampshire debate on ABC last night, but it was shameful the way the other candidates treated him.
- Minarchian, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3The Iowa count is still at 98% by what I can tell. What gives?
- Antarcticn, on 01/06/2008, -0/+5Out of sight . . . out of mind.
The globalist hegemony that owns & controls both mainstream propaganda and the 2-name, 1-party corrupted political system is deliberately eliminating choices. They don't want another Ron Paul arising with a rousing heartfelt message of Freedom and Rights. Dr. Alan Keyes makes speeches about that and ties it to morality (righteousness), which the hegemony lacks totally. Best to not have two hell-fire preachers telling the Truth to betrayed Americans who are already quite disgusted and restless about ongoing, escalating TREASON by global elitist-controlled shills in the Incumbent Party. - Navigator7, on 01/06/2008, -0/+1I think you guys are assigning too much power and glory some perceived orgasmic plan by hidden puppeteers.
I believe Alan Keys message. I listen to his words not his delivery. Unfortunately, when Alan Keys talks, its as if he is being drug from a court room spouting ravings of a lunatic. He is not luny but he is not selling a vision either. He loses the masses and therefore will not be elected. Selling a vision properly requires the masses accept you.
Ron Paul has great ideas blended with an awful delivery.
I don't think Fox is afraid of Keys or Ron Paul. The statement is simply a bitter argument. Its just business.
I like the debate format last night the best of all. The reason is.... time was given to the candidates and they expounded on their vision. Still, IMHO, not enough time was given to each candidate. Charlie Gibson brought in that second guy which was just a time waster.
I think FoxNews made a difficult judgement call to limit candidates to increase the amount of screen time for upper tier candidates. I don't agree, however. I want to hear them all.....but not in one minute sound bytes.
Also...when they are beating each other up...Let them run! It tells a lot about the man when the cameras are running and the heat is on.
El Rushbo is the best talk show host on the radio for one reason IMHO...He listens to the caller and lets them complete a thought. When Rush is done with a caller its as if they have been rung out like a sponge. The conversation is over.
Last night was as close as I've seen to squeezing out info from the candidates.
Still, its not enough.
Equal time BS gets in the way of conveying a thought.
In my life I don't think I've ever seen a candidate be allowed enough time to really complete a thought in a debate.
So we are reduced to the Liberal mentality which elects a nice haircut, a good looking man, or the first woman, or the first black man not because of what they represent but because....It feels good.- Salesti, on 01/06/2008, -0/+2The second time I saw him responding to questions, he had lightened up quite a bit -- so I am hoping that he cultivates that style. It's really appealing when a candidate can hold his (or her) own and keep the message upbeat and the voters inspired.

- Antarcticn, on 01/07/2008, -0/+1to Navigator7 and general update.
Iowa said that they must carefully count the handwritten paper ballots to ensure and accurate vote count for Dr. Alan Keyes. The reason/excuse is plausible, for the moment.
I react similarly to Navigator7's observation about Keyes' stage presence. His style sometimes comes off as too acted. It doesn't feel natural because all of the audience cannot tune into the passion of his delivery. They're not on that emotional frequency even though the intelligence part of his message makes great good sense. I've written on the Alan Keyes' renewamerica.us/forum since 2002. Several times I said his delivery techniques must adjust to better reach the audience.
Ron Paul delivers clear, concise sound bytes that really educate or at least "resonate" (to borrow el Rushbo's word) with the audience of target voters. They know something is horribly wrong in the USA with corrupt "leaders" but don't understand details. Ron Paul has adapted well to the time-limit sound-byte format. He's putting Truth out there; enough of it that voters are putting together the rest of it, making sense of it and understanding that We The People must act now to save the USA.
Lastly, if you think global elitist puppetmasters do not manipulate and totally control their proxies in godvernment, then please research more because you're missing the hugest piece of the premeditated conspiracy to kill the USA's national sovereignty and annex us into the communist utopia designed (and to be imposed) by global elitists on you and me -- but not for them. Do as they say, not as they do. You must open your eyes to this because We The Victims are well under the 2-minute warning and waaaaaaay behind in the score. We need all true-patriot Americans in the game NOW. - TruthAlert, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1I'll be voting for Ron Paul but I like Alan Keyes. I don't appreciate his marginalization by the establishment any more than I like it done to Dr. Paul.
