I'm a lifelong conservative activist and I'm backing Obama
nydailynews.com — I'm a lifelong Republican - a supply-side conservative. I worked in the Reagan White House. In 1994, I helped write the Republican Contract with America. This November, I'm voting for Barack Obama.

Also George Will on ABC talk show today was all praise for Obama, for the way he handled himself in the recent days. They know him, have worked with him, and have studied the work he's done. Highly respected figures across the board are taking McCain on for his lies and character assassinations of Obama, and are ashamed to be associated with McCain. They're impressed by the way Obama has maintained his dignity and his focus amongst all the mess he's had thrown at him - this man is Presidential material and he will be in the Oval Office in just a short time.
A huge difference to many of the on-the-ground voters who simply swallow down the hate-radio rhetoric and are scared by intelligence and wisdom.
