They don't permit them to have views other than their own or else they are viewed as traitors by the likes of Jesse Jackson, etc. This morning I listened to a talk show discussing this matter, and an African American woman called in saying that at her church of 5000 members their pastor never speaks like Wright spoke because they themselves consider that as divisive and not Christian. Instead, they present the gospel, as Christians are supposed to do.
