Hillary Has Not Passed All That Legislation She Touts

boston.com — Hillary Clinton, who has frequently described herself on the campaign trail as playing a pivotal role in forging a children's health insurance plan, had little to do with crafting the landmark legislation or ushering it through Congress, according to several lawmakers, staffers, and healthcare advocates involved in the issue.

      A year ago, March 1, 2007, Rev. Dr. Wright made an angry appearance on the Hannity & Colmes show on FoxNews. It represents one of the few times when someone very close to the old Obama has been directly challenged. The telecast attracted little attention—the discussion quickly devolved into almost incomprehensible crosstalk—but a careful reading of the transcript reveals much about the ideological underpinnings that helped bond Obama to Wright's church for the last 20 years.

      Sean Hannity began by asking Wright about the "Black Value System" espoused by Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ. Wright responded:

      WRIGHT: The black value system, which was developed by the congregation, by laypersons of the congregation, 26 years ago, very similar to the gospel (INAUDIBLE) developed by laypersons in Nicaragua during the whole liberation theology movement, 26, 28, 30 years ago, yes.

      What exactly was going on in Nicaragua 26 to 30 years before this debate in 2007? Well, 1977-1981 were the years of the Marxist revolution in Nicaragua. The Soviet-allied Sandinistas made use of the "liberation theology" promoted by leftist Catholic clerics of the Jesuit and the Maryknoll orders. In fact, three radical liberation theology priests served in the Sandinista cabinet. During a dramatic 1983 visit to Managua, Pope John Paul II had to speak out sharply against liberation theology. He later suspended Marxist priests serving in the Sandinista regime.

      So, the black liberation theology of Obama's church is, according to Obama's minister, "very similar" to the "liberation theology" espoused by old Marxist revolutionaries in Nicaragua.

    Passing the SCHIP children's health care... That Orrin Hatch and Ted Kennedy passed in Congress without her, that was OPPOSED by the Clinton White House!
    Against NAFTA... but she was really for it repeated and repeatedly.
    Answering that phone at 3 AM... only to hand it to Bill Clinton.

The difference is that for the Republican party, this year they account for about 5% of the Republican delegates, while they account for roughly 20% of the Democratic delegates.         Having said that, there are many people who don't think that the system of unpledged delegates is fair or democratic. I can see both sides of that debate, personally, but my conscience tells me that the pledged delegate count should be what determines the candidate.

Concerning healthcare, Mexico is attempting to implement a universal healthcare system, so if they can do it then a Mexican can lead the USA to do it too. A Mexican (in my opinion) would also handle foreign affiars better and solve the immigration problem fast. Hopefully we'll get a Mexican president someday.. the day the US is finally liked by the world (including Mexico) again.

    Barack Obama has sponsored 129 bills since Jan 4, 2005, of which 120 haven't made it out of committee (Poor) and 1 were successfully enacted (Average, relative to peers). Obama has co-sponsored 555 bills during the same time period (Average, relative to peers).
    Hillary Clinton has sponsored 356 bills since Jan 22, 2001, of which 309 haven't made it out of committee (Extremely Poor) and 2 were successfully enacted (Average, relative to peers). Clinton has co-sponsored 1733 bills during the same time period (Average, relative to peers).
    Looks like Obama and Clinton have equally poor records.

      But even if they do have fairly equal records in congress I'd still rather vote for Obama because of the the difference in morals and behavior shown by them during their campaigns.
