Hillary Clinton is a Habitual Liar Who Cannot Admit Fault
rollingstone.com — Hillary is a habitual teller of tall tales. She ’s far worse than Al Gore ever was. I for one am less troubled by the fact that the senator is a teller of parables and tall tales, than by the fact that she cannot, for the life of her, admit fault.

- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -11/+126Dugg for honesty. Hillary is probably the evilest woman in politics. She knows no shame and fears no repercussions for her actions. Much like her husband and all the other elitist pricks running this country. We should run all of them out of Washington.
- ncairns, on 03/27/2008, -11/+16She's bad, but that title belongs to Katherine Harris.
- scotticus, on 03/27/2008, -3/+5You're right... that's not even up for debate. The people digging you down probably weren't politically aware in the year 2000.
- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Buried for not getting it. Katherine Harris was simply a tool. Hammers are not evil. The people wielding the hammers are the evil ones.
- scotticus, on 03/27/2008, -3/+5You're right... that's not even up for debate. The people digging you down probably weren't politically aware in the year 2000.
- badqat, on 03/27/2008, -11/+12Does that include Obama?
- gummih, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Oh, the wit... you are so witty!
- OwdenBowden, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Yes. It 100% includes OBAMA but in his case it will take him 20 years to figure it all out
- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1What part of they should all be run out didn't you read correctly?
There are only a few people in Washington attempting to do good, but I say sweep them away with the bad.
- SteelTallon, on 03/27/2008, -3/+12I agree! I wish we could start from a clean slate, and get the government back to it's rightful owner, THE PEOPLE!!! I am so sick of party wars!! What ever happened to "....and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth....."
- MikeSD34, on 03/27/2008, -1/+6It perished.
- lamiaconfitor, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3exactly what I was going to say.
- dellydigger, on 03/27/2008, -3/+9Grow up. There was never a golden age of 'government', take of your rose tinted glasses and read some books on the corruption and power games of past governments. Think the greek system was perfect, wrong. The forefathers had a beautiful vision, but when we look at the reality, it was much more corrupt than today.
Modern governments may appear bad but in reality their flaws are minor compared to historical abuses of power.- SteelTallon, on 03/27/2008, -5/+3Uh oh..your from NY, so therefore you are already smarter than I am (looking at your other comments on things). I'll just walk away now, and keep my crazy CA views to myself...
- sobebelushi, on 03/27/2008, -1/+13being from NY and currently living in Southern California, i can say that we are all equally *****.
- revisrev, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1I always like it when people think that the founding fathers made this perfect, benevolent government, and that it has become slowly corrupted over time. Text book history, which we all learn early in life, glosses over so much corruption and infighting that it paints this beautiful picture of the forming of America. People have a really hard time coming to grips with the fact that this, today, is the most civilized age that man has ever known. I realize that we still have a lot of things that need worked on, but seriously, this is the best that it's ever been.
Thanks, Dellydigger, for piping some true history in. - gwolf, on 03/28/2008, -0/+2I agree that the founding fathers had a great vision, one that has never been achieved. That doesn't mean we should stop trying to achieve it. The journey has always been more important than the destination. If we collectively stop trying to achieve a free society we will lose those few gains we have made.
- SteelTallon, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1That was actually my point when stating the above. I am not naive to corrupt governments, nor did I ever think we had, as DellyDigger put it, :golden age of 'government'". I simply meant, it would be nice to get back to the fundamentals as the founding fathers viewed it. Yes, the world has changed considerable, and not for the best in certain occasions. But, it doesn't mean we should give up, and "go with the flow".
- SteelTallon, on 03/27/2008, -5/+3Uh oh..your from NY, so therefore you are already smarter than I am (looking at your other comments on things). I'll just walk away now, and keep my crazy CA views to myself...

- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Yes, evilest (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/evilest). You fail. Learn English.
- RepubOperative, on 03/27/2008, -18/+6I don't know which to believe but you Democrats are sure amusing. So which is the dirty ***** lie?
1) Hillary's dangerous trip to Bosnia or 2) Baracka Obama never having attended his ministers hate speeches, which went on and on for twenty years....his minister married him, baptized his children and was a close friend and associate in prayer and family matters for twenty years and the stupid racist church only sold video tapes of, get this THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE HATE SPEECH.
Or are they both liars?- badqat, on 03/27/2008, -10/+4Based on this being digg, I'm guessing there are many here who'll be quick to give Obama the benefit of a doubt (fingers jammed into their ears, yelling "la la la la la la" as loud as they can, pretending they can't hear, and screaming that the good reverend is being "misquoted")...but they're just fooling themselves...latest is Rev. Wright using ethnic slurs against Italians. And I'm sure gems like this will keep on surfacing.
- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Again, Bush has personal meetings with JERRY ***** FARWELL!!!!! The hate preacher of hate preachers. You fail on objectivity.
- pattherat, on 03/27/2008, -3/+8Man you spew the same dribble in every comment I see from you.
Of course you can do this from the heights of knowing that your chosen party is squeaky clean with nary a corrupt SOB in sight! - sobebelushi, on 03/27/2008, -1/+8Dude, you are the worst of the worst, but sometimes i think you are in fact playing devils advocate. You also seem to enjoy copying and pasting your comments, instead of using your brain and coming up with something new.
- Bilabrin, on 03/27/2008, -0/+4What about the black experience in america is there to not hate? The slavery? The post-slavery poverty and oppression? The post opression poverty and continuing lack of opportunity and access to jobs and education? The subtle racism of lower expectation?
I for one feel refreshed to see some real discussion about this issue that most whites like to sweep under the rug. This is raw honesty that I can respect.
Hillary straight up lied for personal gain.
Barrack stated he disagreed with the hateful comments. Hillary stood by her obvious lie.
Also, I find it odd that a republican is standing up for Hillary. This seems to be the standard Republican line these days. Let's stand up for Hillary and bash Obama because we know Mccain has no chance against Obama. - wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3First off, I'm not a Democrat. I'm a Libertarian. I was a Republican until the party betrayed this country.
Secondly, back off the BS hate speech bandwagon. When was the last time Bush meet with Jerry Farwell. BURN!!!!
- badqat, on 03/27/2008, -10/+4Based on this being digg, I'm guessing there are many here who'll be quick to give Obama the benefit of a doubt (fingers jammed into their ears, yelling "la la la la la la" as loud as they can, pretending they can't hear, and screaming that the good reverend is being "misquoted")...but they're just fooling themselves...latest is Rev. - webdeshel, on 03/27/2008, -7/+3It says in the constitution that if the people are ever displeased with the government, they can elect to have the political system overturned. Perhaps we should start a ballot...
- rottencod, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2no it doesn't, retard. we can vote to get rid of representatives, senators, and presidents, but only in normal election years. there's no provision for having "the political system overturned."
- snugglebear, on 03/27/2008, -3/+3This is great. I love how democrats divide themselves up.
You realize how this hatred between the two sides will put McCain in office right? No matter who wins the democratic nomination there will be a large portion of the democrats who do not WANT that candidate, and will have a nice choice of voting for someone they don't want (McCain or the democrat NOT of their choosing), or not voting.- scotticus, on 03/27/2008, -1/+5The numbers don't support your argument. There have been roughly twice as many voters in democratic primaries vs. republican primaries, even before the republican candidate was determined. Polling also suggests that by far, most independents lean to the left.
For better or worse, democrats are going to pound the republicans in Nov 2008.- WilliamDavis, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Nah... they're going to pound *us*, and it won't matter who is elected. Republicans will just dust themselves off and get back in line. The title here should read "Politicians are Habitual Liars Who Cannot Admit Fault."
- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Democrats are pretty stupid in that regard.
- scotticus, on 03/27/2008, -1/+5The numbers don't support your argument. There have been roughly twice as many voters in democratic primaries vs. republican primaries, even before the republican candidate was determined. Polling also suggests that by far, most independents lean to the left.
- moush, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3And what? Anarchy would be good?
- wynja, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Anarchy would most definitely preferable.
- H1tchh1k3r, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2YEAH! and then we should bring them out in front of a crowd and stone them to death
(its where you kill them by throwing rocks, just in case you didn't know)
- ncairns, on 03/27/2008, -11/+16She's bad, but that title belongs to Katherine Harris.
- syroncoda, on 03/27/2008, -7/+44if rolling stone is saying this then she's screwed. about damn time.
- exomni, on 03/27/2008, -5/+3Yeah, Rolling Stone sure has controlled the American public pretty well up to this point, I mean, the whole electing Bush, then re-electing Bush, going to war with Iraq, that stuff was all totally supported by RS.
- 355CJ, on 03/27/2008, -3/+3I think they mean that Rolling Stone has always supported the Liberal candidate. If even they are turning on PIAPS, she's screwed.
- exomni, on 03/27/2008, -5/+3Yeah, Rolling Stone sure has controlled the American public pretty well up to this point, I mean, the whole electing Bush, then re-electing Bush, going to war with Iraq, that stuff was all totally supported by RS.
- ImOutraged, on 03/27/2008, -5/+12I'm outraged.
- chrissku, on 03/27/2008, -1/+12I know I don't want a President who fabricates stories because she's tired. I want my President to be fully alert when he or she lies to the face of the American people!
- robthom, on 03/27/2008, -1/+5She's not even trying. Just lazy IMO.
- COinOR, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1i can tell.
- chrissku, on 03/27/2008, -1/+12I know I don't want a President who fabricates stories because she's tired. I want my President to be fully alert when he or she lies to the face of the American people!
- Ajajadude, on 03/27/2008, -4/+8Oh, *that* sounds familiar....
- anoneng, on 03/27/2008, -15/+9Its really depressing that she is supposedly one of the best candidates this country has produced.
- Zamyatin, on 03/27/2008, -2/+3She's good at typical cutthroat washington politics... what she fails to realize though, is that you can't lead from the top without the backing of the People... a mistake that Bush/Cheney have been repeatedly making for 8 years now. The result is that her leadership and "presidential style" just appear as egocentric political shenanigans, which are far from inspiring to an American voting public that's looking for something sane, for once. I don't doubt that she could get things done, but *how* things are accomplished is sometimes more important than simply that they were.
This Machiavellian political sensibility we have evolved in this country since Regan has got to stop, regardless of who's carrying the torch - Regan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr....
I really think Obama, if he can get the people to understand what he means by "change", can actually accomplish this, reduce the public cynicism re: government, and get people to participate again. I really think *that* is his message.- imgstacke, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2That is the message I get from Obama and his campaign. And it is consistent, and hasn't wavered from Iowa til now. A Government of the People, For the People, are not just words.
- anoneng, on 03/27/2008, -0/+0I like Obama because even though being a libertarian I disagree with his policies he actually seems to believe in them, and that sets him apart from what I see in McCain and Clinton. I don't want to vote for him because I don't think his policies will work, but I refuse to vote against him.
- imgstacke, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2That is the message I get from Obama and his campaign. And it is consistent, and hasn't wavered from Iowa til now. A Government of the People, For the People, are not just words.
- moush, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1She's pretty close to Obama in political skills, just not as ethical. But since when do ethics make a big part of election?
- Zamyatin, on 03/27/2008, -2/+3She's good at typical cutthroat washington politics... what she fails to realize though, is that you can't lead from the top without the backing of the People... a mistake that Bush/Cheney have been repeatedly making for 8 years now. - Persian5Life, on 03/27/2008, -10/+21"Hillary Clinton is a Habitual Liar Who Cannot Admit Fault" REALLY!!!!!!! i had no idea. i thought she was an honest woman who never supported NAFTA and stood up for the middle class. i guess i was wrong.
- csonger, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1Sad but true, you were wrong.
- sk11, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1"a habitual liar who cannot admit fault"
I thought this was a requirement for politicians.
- dshey, on 03/27/2008, -6/+17I'm just surprised this is news to anyone.
- MindTrigger, on 03/27/2008, -2/+3Hopefully it's becoming news to her supporters.
- Zamyatin, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1It's not. It's Rolling Stone trying to cash in on this last month's corroding political dialogue... Used to be about issues and leadership style, now it's about whatever dirt the press can dig up. They call it "keeping the politicians honest", but in all honesty it's just more sensationalism and diversion from the crucial debates of our time, and the future of our country. If we just roll over and allow ourselves to be taken by this media *****-slinging, then we're just tossing over more dollars to them, proving that it's still a way to make a quick buck, and in the long run, slowly running our country into the ground an inch at a time because of our short-sightedness.
./end highhorse diatribe.
- fadeout, on 03/27/2008, -10/+38I don't think you can prove Gore lied; he just didn't choose his words well and they easily got twisted - ie the favorite cereal thing, his sponsoring the bill that created the internet, etc. Smart guy, a genius probably, yet no common sense when he opens his mouth.
Hillary, on the other hand, wouldn't know honesty if it slapped her in the face.- petrodollar, on 03/27/2008, -1/+7Gore did sponsor the creation of the internet. When DARPA was revised in the 1980s Gore made sure that funding for development of the internet was continued through the NSF.
- robthom, on 03/27/2008, -3/+3"....... if it slapped her in the face."
That would be awesome. - Zamyatin, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3Actually Gore's work with Ira Magiziner in the mid-90s did mandate a governmental hands-off approach to the 'net... Which eventually allowed Jon Postel's rise in power, the decentralization of DNS maintenance, and the creation of ICANN... Perhaps saying he "created the internet" was a bad choice of words, but between him and Ira Magaziner, their work to keep government offices from usurping Internet regulation in the early days certainly allowed the 'net to become what it is today... for better or worse.
- jkoski, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2...and honesty, I assume is a code word for "my dick"?

- CourtesyFlush, on 03/27/2008, -8/+25Wow, the "progressive" smear machine is relatively fun to watch when it's turned on itself.
That headline is a hoot.- felixchapel, on 03/27/2008, -2/+3The revolution always eats their own my friend.
- gamebittk, on 03/27/2008, -4/+10Why Al Gore?
- lamiaconfitor, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Because the article is slanted. Same reason people think Regan was a good president.
- Nerve55, on 03/27/2008, -6/+7Dugg - Can't be said any better.
- npcabral, on 03/27/2008, -8/+3I blame Bush Inc. They zombified LiL John Mccain.... I'm sure they can do the same to Lil Hillary.
- robthom, on 03/27/2008, -9/+6Dugg for awesome title.
Lol! - Pinkertinkle, on 03/27/2008, -8/+7Hillary doesn't need to admit fault, it's the media and everyone else who needs to admit they're wrong and Hillary is our anointed one who we should carry into office with enthusiasm.
- djAnakin, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1You better laugh when you say that.
- willsani, on 03/27/2008, -2/+7So, is Bill training her or did she train Bill?
- Hegemony, on 03/27/2008, -4/+36Wait... what did Gore lie about? Is that a reference to the internet thing? Because that was a blatant misquote. Why his campaign chose not to respond to that I'll never know.
- techmaster, on 03/27/2008, -6/+2Apparently you are not familiar with the legend of ManBearPig.

- rdhazrd, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3No, she knows she's lying, Dubya, doesn't know anything.
- edwartica, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Come on, he knows he's lying. He's not that dumb but....well, maybe he is that dumb.
- cambob76, on 03/27/2008, -1/+5Yes exactly. Her supporters are swallowing the ***** and haven't wakened up to this fact.
- SpectreFire, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3Bush is incompetent. Hillary is just ***** crazy, and apparently really evil.
- edwartica, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1Maybe she's the anti-Christ. The Christians seem to hate her enough, lol.
- rdhazrd, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3No, she knows she's lying, Dubya, doesn't know anything.
- marson, on 03/27/2008, -1/+7Like, duh. She's a politician. Who thought she was different from all the others?
- moush, on 03/27/2008, -1/+4Watch out, everyone thinks Obama is Jesus Christ reincarnated.
- juicebag, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Which is funny, because the things he spews in his speeches sound akin to Jesus preaching salvation or a Disney movie.
- moush, on 03/27/2008, -1/+4Watch out, everyone thinks Obama is Jesus Christ reincarnated.
- MindTrigger, on 03/27/2008, -2/+10Hillary is as much establishment government as all rest of the good ol' boys running DC. She hangs with the boys because she how to game the system with our hard earned dollars just like the rest of them. This is her idea of "experience". No thanks, I will take my chances with the new kid on the block.
- SevenTwo, on 03/27/2008, -2/+6That's Right! You're a big fat phony!
- incredibilistic, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1They should get the guy who does that voice to show up at a Hillary rally. Even better if Hillary breaks out a keyboard and pretends to play the demo music. Of course he should be prepared to die as I'm sure he'll be gagged and bagged within 2 seconds.
- tjlyttle, on 03/27/2008, -4/+3Would she know me if I slapped her in the face? At this point I'd consider it just doing my patriotic duty
- lndmn01, on 03/27/2008, -14/+9and Obama isn't? He can't admit that he was at his church for anti-American and racist sermons.... If you think Obama is any different than Hillary you are WRONG.
- gcnaddict, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Prove your statement.
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -1/+4Did you listen to his speech on race?
That story is as dead as Hillary's campaign. - Evanmontegarde, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3Someone's been watching Fox News. Other than the AIDs comment (which Obama has stated he does not agree with), everything else R. Wright said was understandable in context.
- 4LeggedtriPod, on 03/27/2008, -0/+3Sure it was. Context for a conspriracy theorist.
- felixchapel, on 03/27/2008, -6/+3She wanted to claim that she invented the internet but a former employee of her husband beat her to it.
- Langford, on 03/27/2008, -0/+12"Hillary Clinton is a Habitual Liar Who Cannot Admit Fault"
So she's a professional politician? I am so shocked! - openj, on 03/27/2008, -6/+19She's mentally sick. Much like your Hollywood starlets, Hillary has a condition which leads her to believe that she is more important than anyone else around her, and thus is owed a great deal more. Any decent psychologist would tell you that her condition makes her incredibly unfit for any degree of responsibility.
Just think, though - some people are actually willing to vote for her! How broken do you have to be to vote for someone with such an obvious mental condition?- csonger, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1At least you are not a traitor if you support her. I think the most damning thing I've heard so far is Carville suggesting Richardson was a traitor. Does that mean if you voted for Clinton in 1996 that you are a traitor if you don't support her?
- JosefK88, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2I would love to hear your assessment of the mental state or cognitive ability of our current president. Egocentric? Self denial? Delayed?
- openj, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Bush is as mentally sick as Hillary, but his condition is much different than the one with which Hillary is afflicted. While it is likely that Bush found religion after his dad explained how potent a tool it is for controlling large groups of voters, it appears that he has now honestly begun to believe that he speaks with God. Many dangerous leaders from the past were under the same delusion. Does it strike anyone else as odd that virtually every leader in history who confessed to a similar direct and personal link to The Almighty also initiated similar wars, and even Crusades?
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Bush is a corporate puppet on strings, he doesn't have a mental state.
- gannondork, on 03/27/2008, -6/+10I wish I could take a dump on her face. Right after eating 10 pounds of raw hamburger.

- lickmylovepump, on 03/27/2008, -3/+10Does anyone on digg even plan to vote for hillary? no? that's what i thought. so quit preaching to the choir. we don't need any more anti-hillary stories on digg. it's like yelling 'fire' in a building that is engulfed in flames. it's obvious.
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -1/+8Sniper fire?
- pattherat, on 03/27/2008, -2/+5I think I digg these stories at least in the hope that some of her supporters will see reason. Basically that she cannot win without tearing the DNC to pieces and should quit for the benefit of the party and the country. This without even taking into account the lies she spouts.
She just can't win without a super delegate coup, and I hope Penn swings in a big way to Obama, just so there is no doubt that it is over for her.
False hope? Yeah, I'm sure of it. She'll stick it out until she pretty much guarantees a McCain victory....- JackGrozny, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1I'm not sure where many Digg users are getting the idea that her running is destroying the Democratic party. I voted for and caucused for Hillary in Texas, and while there had a chance to talk to many supporters on both side of the aisle. There was unanimous agreement that everyone was ecstatic about the worthy competition driving Dems to the polling places in record numbers, and that in the end we are still Democrats and will vote Democrat. I have a father voting for Obama, a mother for Clinton, and friends voting for both. And none of us feel a need to spite the other side for the sake of personalizing our politics and getting offended by anyone who disagrees with us.
- avidwriter, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1And none of us feel a need to spite the other side for the sake of personalizing our politics and getting offended by anyone who disagrees with us.

look through the stories in http://digg.com/2008_us_elections- gcnaddict, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1Hillary has no right to call herself a democrat. She's a conservative at heart.

Yes, were obviously all wrong and what we need is a dictator. I can't believe we all didn't think of that.
And Hillary is the one taking dumps on the democratic parties chest.
- Freeto114, on 03/27/2008, -2/+4being the most evil woman on earth, and in politics. and being the center of all bitchdom. thats grounds to just like, stab her in the eye... isnt it?
- dan222555, on 03/27/2008, -3/+18It'd be great it Rolling Stone could make a magazine about music that doesn't push a political agenda on every other page.
- 355CJ, on 03/27/2008, -1/+15That would be like asking MTV to show music videos.
Not gonna happen. - xenlab, on 03/28/2008, -0/+1I guess you haven't been reading it very long. Its always done that. With the country's obsession with politics its just more pronounced more.
- 355CJ, on 03/27/2008, -1/+15That would be like asking MTV to show music videos.
- ralph12c41, on 03/27/2008, -3/+6One has trouble with the truth...the other lacks judgment and subtly stirs the racial hate pot....poor choices for the "progressives"
- revisrev, on 03/27/2008, -0/+0So, Hillary is counted as two different people now? I guess I'll just have to not vote for both of her.
- arcanesmile, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2hildog is just a shady person altogether... bleh.. glad i'm canadian
- cli006, on 03/27/2008, -3/+4Hillary is getting so bad that she's even worse than the national threat of manbearpig.
- bdbr, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Its not just her; the press are like vultures waiting for a politician to admit guilt. Her problem is the stories she makes up, that are too easily proven false. WHY she does it is the question.
- JerodSlay, on 03/27/2008, -3/+1You mean Bush, asss..... Oh wait.............. yeah her, too. *****!!!!
- JosefK88, on 03/27/2008, -5/+1I do rather enjoy the hypocrisy of all those enjoying the phrase "[Hillary]..Cannot Admit Fault" As if the current president is a model of humility or has ever taken responsibility for his mistakes.
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2And rating anybody against the current president isn't a complete waste of time?
- JosefK88, on 03/27/2008, -0/+0I wasn't rating Hillary vs Bush. Actually, I wasn't rating Hillary at all and I don't support her. I was commenting on some diggers hypocrisy. But there is not reason for you to actually READ the posts you reply to. Carry on.
- motivatedmama, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1Hence the outing of Hillary's lies. WE are trying to AVOID another BUSH.
Bush = past. Hillary = future.
When we have another "terrorist incident" and martial law is declared, THEN we will get back to bashing Bush. Assuming we will be allowed access to the internet of course.
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2And rating anybody against the current president isn't a complete waste of time?
- csonger, on 03/27/2008, -4/+3The biggest problem here is not being able to admit fault. That criticism is 100% true. We've had 7.25 years of a president who's unable to admit fault. Do we want 4.75 more?
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1So lying all the time is fine so long as you admit you're lying?
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3Wouldn't Obama benefit greatly from a TV ad, blasted from coast to coast, where they juxtapose Hillary changing her story on her trip to Bosnia with Bush's changing story on the reasons for invading Iraq?
They could just play her first story, then fade out to Bush's first story, then keep doing that as they progress through their ever changing explanations.
Then, fade out, and put text on the screen.... "Do we really want to go through this, AGAIN?"
I suppose the problem is, it would take more than 30 seconds to play through all of both of their ever changing lies.
- AppleMacMan, on 03/27/2008, -4/+2Not only is she a liar but worse: She's not a Mac user.
- elektriknoizz, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2I didn't even read the article because it's from Rolling Stone. Though they may have some good points in this article, the crap that's been coming from them recently has turned me off completely.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Why? Is it that hard to resolve the cognitive dissonance of your belief in what Fox News reports (a tabloid cable news channel owned by an Australian globalist), against what some other point of view reports?
- elektriknoizz, on 04/07/2008, -0/+1You know, if you look back at my Diggs, and my comment history, you'll find I'm a liberal and I hate Fox news. You put as much research into your comment as Richard Graysmith did in his books.
Before you bash someone, make sure you know what you're talking about.

- SpectreFire, on 03/27/2008, -1/+4Wow, even the Rolling Stone's getting in on the action.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1You should read Tommy Frank's interview in Cigar Aficionado.
http://www.cigaraficionado.com/Cigar/CA_Profiles/C ...
Sometimes when they want to speak freely, the people who have the most information go way out on the fringe of publishing.
You have to have a discerning mind when reading this interview, because Tommy Franks is quite guarded in his words, but he reveals a lot.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1You should read Tommy Frank's interview in Cigar Aficionado.
- dtaylor379, on 03/27/2008, -4/+3I am a republican, but I think she has been more direct than Obama recently.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2"Republicans", or more appropriately, the neocon bootlickers who watch Fox News would much prefer Hillary be the democratic candidate, in order to assure McCain wins.
Your statement is biased, therefore.- JackGrozny, on 03/27/2008, -2/+0Of course his statement is biased, that's what makes it an opinion. That's why he used a word like "think" instead of "I read from an encyclopedia that...". Getting any information from any major news source will be biased, even one as hard hitting as Rolling Stone. Please don't make me type that /sarcasm thing. Damn, too late.
- motivatedmama, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3She's been direct alright. She lies right to our faces.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2"Republicans", or more appropriately, the neocon bootlickers who watch Fox News would much prefer Hillary be the democratic candidate, in order to assure McCain wins.
- oxygen911, on 03/27/2008, -3/+4hey maybe if you guys keep going for obama he will lose just like ron paul did, you diggers have a great track record.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2Wow. Everyone with lesser intellects always seems to group people into boxes. They can't understand diverse and divergent opinions exist.
Isn't that just a step away from racism? Or perhaps it is the same exact mentality that groups all people of color, or nationality or religion into the same pot?- JackGrozny, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2Well, only a few posts ago you grouped all FOX news viewers as neo-con bootlickers. Granted, they are, but it's the hypocrisy that's the issue at hand. Comparing the grouping of Digg users and racism is demeaning to those suffering from real racism because a race is independent of thought or action. Conversely, human beings naturally group themselves with people who share similar views and opinions, an action known as "confirmation bias" by psychologists. Thus, it is perfectly reasonable to assume that a large contingent of a voluntary group will share similar views and opinions. In fact, by your logic if we added the word "party" to Digg, it would be perfectly reasonable to slander them as much as humanly possible.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1All right. You are trying to attack Digg because of your employment with Dyncorp, in Tampa.
Good job, I think you can tell your superiors that you did a great job.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1All right. You are trying to attack Digg because of your employment with Dyncorp, in Tampa.

- BinaryDelt, on 03/27/2008, -5/+4I ***** hate Hillary Clinton. She cares more about winning than the country, the people in it, or the problems facing it. This is some big ***** beauty contest to her.
***** HILLARY CLINTON. - brownrecluse888, on 03/27/2008, -5/+3It still amazes me how uneducated most Digg people are on politics. I'm so sick of these anti-clinton diggs. The above digger is right, the Dem's have NO chance of winning. They are screwed once again. I'll vote for Obama but the GOP is once again playing the Dems against each other, with every negative clinton digg you post you play right into their hands. If Obama gets the nomination the Clinton backers won't show up to vote, if Clinton gets it they Obama folks will feel cheated like the Dems felt when Bush won against Al Gore and won't show up. The far right will bring out there masses of voters and all of the masses that showed up to the rock star Obama rallies won't show up to vote either way.
Very sad. I was hoping the Dems could pull it off this time, but instead the internal bickering will result in yet another GOP president for the next 8 years.
It amazes me how all of the Digg illiterates can be so behind Obama but dislike Clinton so much. Do you not realize that they basically have the same views on everything?? There are small differences, but basically they want the same thing. By hating clinton you are not only showing your ignorance, but are guaranteeing the GOP another 8 years.- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -3/+2You don't seem to get it either. You are buying into the reporting without parsing it out yourself, and believing the mainline reporting that all this damages "the party", as opposed to a certain candidate.
The Clintons believe in scorched earth politics (as do some republicans, luckily none of them are in this race), and Hillary is an especially vindictive and vengeful practitioner of scorched earth politics.
Currently, in polls, in a Hillary/McCain election, McCain wins. However, in a McCain/Obama election, Obama wins.
You should be more amazed that only COFR candidates ever make it through the primaries.- sixspeed, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3"scorched earth politics"
That is the sort of over-the-top hyperbole that keeps anyone from taking you and your sophomoric opinions seriously.- avidwriter, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1except that it's true.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -2/+2You must be a hillary supporter, sixspeed.
I'm sorry you are so lost. I wish I could wake you up.
You must be a part of the illogical minority who could actually destroy the democratic party's chances of winning.
- sixspeed, on 03/27/2008, -1/+3"scorched earth politics"
- junkwheel, on 03/27/2008, -2/+2Maybe because Obama and Clinton are absolutely NOTHING alike.
Just a wild guess.- brownrecluse888, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1really, nothing alike????? I guess you haven't bothered to watch the debates, read their websites and on and on...they are EXACTLY alike!! They have basically the same views on everything with subtle differences. Hiliary Clinton, love her or hate her is according to most experts has been put under the microscope like no other politician in US history. Obama has barely been vetted, and when he has things show up like shady real estate deals, associations with unsavory charcters and so forth. I'd love to see Obama as president, I'm just not as naive as all the Digg people that think he is any different than any other politician. You search thru every word the Hiliary has said in her lifetime and pick a few things that don't add up. Could any of us live up to that kind of scrutiny??
THIS proves it all.....If Colbert says Obama is a big fat lier than its true...case closed, watch the video....

- Pherdnut, on 03/28/2008, -1/+1I put a lot more credibility into Obama supporters claiming they'll vote for McCain over Hillary than Hill-supporters for McCain over Obama. Why? It's quite simple. If we have to stomach a candidate that supported the war, we at least want the one that's serious about electoral reform, wants to do something about the total lack of ethics and who is willing to disclose his donors.
In Hillary's case, I have yet to meet a supporter that appears to really know what's going on. They either want a girl at all costs, buy into the completely unsupported myth that her experience is somehow more relevant than Obama's, they're voting for the Clinton brand name, or they just keep parroting attack slogans. At the end of the day, they're far more likely to vote Democrat regardless of how mad they are about their candidate losing the nomination because they're not voting with their heads. They're voting with their identity and "voted Republican" isn't a part of that.
I've tried really hard to engage Hillary supporters in discussion online but they only ever respond with silence or Oprah-audience-style hysterics.

- Iconoclast25, on 03/27/2008, -2/+4Both slick and shrill are compulsive liars; they lie even when telling the truth would server them as well or better.
- hadak, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1Oh wait, she's a ***** woman. Women lie.*
*not all women. my girlfriend never lies to me. my mom does though. it's kind of sad. it makes me sad. i wish i had more friends. will you be my friend? if i sign up for "friends and family" from the *new* at&t, will you let me call you? would you like to be in my five? why is it five anyway? why not six? six is a round number: nice and wholesome. you know what else is wholesome? milk. you should really drink your milk. milk comes from cows. chocolate milk comes from brown cows. my grandpa told me so. he's the only one i have left. the other one died. i was sad when he died. i guess that's what happens when you get old. how come women seem to live longer than men? is the secret to long life lying? if that's the case, women should live a lot longer than men. and you know what? they do. i read it on the internet. it must be true.- BrendanSheehan, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1Bill is a woman, it's a Clinton thing. Lying bastards!
- meed, on 03/27/2008, -1/+5I don't understand how people can still vote for Hilary after all this blatent lying. She doesn't know when to stop, she keeps digging the hole deeper. She's already lost this election, but if she keeps up she will mess up being elected years down the road. She is down right dammaged goods right now. Honestly I know understand why Bill ended up getting some from the intern now, his wife is ***** crazy.
- PhilLesh69, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1If Obama's campaign produces a TV ad juxtaposing Hillary's changing story about her trip to Bosnia, with George Bush's changing reasons for invading Iraq, I think Hillary would be finally and totally sunk.
- kuppoppo, on 03/27/2008, -2/+1Yeah, she's a liar but she's got a nice set of *****. I'd stick my dick in between them any day.
