The constitution guarantees you the right to KNOW your vote was counted. If your vote becomes an electron manipulated by a program, you can no longer know it was counted. The "chain of custody" was lost at that point. - Navicerts, on 04/24/2008, -0/+1It's not a bad project - determine if each district was hand or machine counted and summarize and compare the results to look for any blaring trends. Chances are there will be a trend, but mild in either direction - I wouldn't expect anything too surprising, but it's easy (although time consuming) to check.
