- davidg11, on 12/31/2007, -3/+25Am I the only one that gets it that the Iowa Caucus is before this debate?
When Ron Paul beats ANY of the frontrunners in Iowa, Fox will simply be forced to include Ron Paul in the debate. Why? Because "crazy, loony, whacky, freaky", Ron beating any frontrunner IS news.
And Fox News NOT giving Ron a chance to debate after beating frontrunners in Iowa will make the news on other networks. Fox will have to include Paul just out of shame.
So ease up and keep your eye on the ball: Iowa.
Paul just needs to beat a few frontrunners there and believe me, he'll be all over the press headlines because whoever loses to him will be shamed out of this race.- Minarchian, on 12/31/2007, -2/+10Official results from the Iowa caucus won't be released for months.
The media will spin what they think the results will be however.- tarabyte, on 12/31/2007, -1/+3Is that really true? Where do you find that information?
- Minarchian, on 01/01/2008, -0/+1Man...please don't make me dig it up. It was a few weeks ago. It was saying that the results will be released shortly before the State Convention.
- brokencrystal, on 01/01/2008, -0/+4I live in Iowa and am helping with the caucus. This is true. Still, we need to concentrate on Iowa. If you live in Iowa or near by, get here and get out and educate the people. The Google Ron Paul signs are a great idea, but a more personal touch is better. Iowa doesn't really know that much about Ron Paul, so we need people to come out and spread the word... especially in the larger cities like Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Waterloo/Cedar Falls, and the other larger cities here where all we see is Obama, Huckabee, and Clinton signs everywhere. I had a HUGE RP sign on HWY 63 N, but someone stole it. People have been going around ripping up all the Huckabee, Clinton, and Paul signs that are around here and only sparing the Obama signs. It's sad that they resort to doing something like that. We need people here to spread the message. Iowa needs you!
- tarabyte, on 12/31/2007, -1/+3Is that really true? Where do you find that information?
- Minarchian, on 12/31/2007, -2/+10Official results from the Iowa caucus won't be released for months.
- Unreconstructed, on 12/31/2007, -2/+31Thank you, New Hampshire Republican Party. Now let's hope Fox News sees the light and has a change of heart. If not, I'll find another television news network to watch.
- mediaspree, on 12/31/2007, -2/+35Fox News shot itself in its own foot. When it hits mainstream media that a candidate was to be excluded for no other reason than one networks bias (hes polling higher than several of the candiddates "allowed" to debate) and then was reluctantly allowed in it'll drum up peoples curiosity..."Who is this dark Horse candidate Ron Paul? Maybe I should Google him" We win.
- Minarchian, on 12/31/2007, -1/+15Paul is going to win anyway.
That's the whole reason they don't want him in the forum. They don't want him to win by a too wide of margin.
It's media manipulation of the election process, through and through.
- Minarchian, on 12/31/2007, -1/+15Paul is going to win anyway.
- 1013, on 12/31/2007, -2/+32The public is being steered by the media from both directions. My parents are life long Dems and in their circle of friends, Edwards is the favorite while Hilary and Obama are despised. Yet in the polls, Hilary and Obama are favorites. It's no different on the Republican side. I consider myself to be very conservative and would never even consider Romney, Guiliani or Huckabee(all based on voting records and previous policy). Most of my conservative friends feel the same, but once again the media tells us these three goons are the front-runners.
- scrothroath, on 12/31/2007, -1/+6goons , lol I like that because that is what they are. very succinct
- chiripero, on 01/01/2008, -0/+1Notice how former President Carter goes around the world to evaluate the fairness and validity of elections, but doesn't dare do it here at home where it is most needed? Wouldn't it be ironic if he observed this election as an official monitor and exposed the real truth to the American people ? We know ! The exclusion of Ron Paul from the media is a tragedy to our electoral process, that needs to be addressed by the American people and dealt with. I sent a letter to the editor of our daily rag here in California and they changed just one word in my letter and it changed the entire letter. It would cause people NOT to read it ! My cancellation to their paper (after 28 years) is coming up this month.
- agentem, on 12/31/2007, -10/+3The last line sounds a little ominous...
"we are in ongoing discussions with FOX News about having as many candidates as possible participate in the forum"
Who else thinks this sounds like they may try to flood the forum with candidates?- Trillion08, on 12/31/2007, -1/+4Dude what if they do? Lets not worry about the little things. We want Ron Paul in there because we believe in his message. If there is another candidate in there that has something to say, he/she should ALSO be included. Dont forget what Freedom and Liberty means.
- DeviantDragon, on 12/31/2007, -1/+3I have no idea how they would do that...it's not as if Republican candidates number in the thousands. I mean, the extension of what you say means that Hunter gets invited. Well GOSH THAT'S JUST DEVASTATING.

- Trillion08, on 12/31/2007, -2/+16No ones going to watch their f&king forum if Ron Paul is not included.
- joell109, on 01/01/2008, -0/+2corporate america is very reluctant to allow ron paul to expose their parallel interviews scam, otherwise known as debates; fewer viewers without paul are preferrable to more with him. this allows gullible voters, preoccupied with football, brittany spears, american idol, to be more easiy duped with 30 second ads and slanted news coverage

- Prophit0, on 12/31/2007, -3/+14If Ron is fortunate enough to walk away with a win in Iowa, then he should refuse to appear on any show on Fox except Judge Neopolitano. Fox is owned by Newcorp and their board of directors has these three conflict of interest directors on it which that alone should require action by the FCC against Fox/newscorp for illegal use of the PUBLICS AIRWAYS TO FACILITATE THEIR CONFLICT OF INTEREST AGENDA. When you see who these directors are you will know what I am talking about. Andrew S.B. Knight Director Rothschild Investment Trust C.P Rod Eddington Non-Executive Chairman for Australia and New Zealand JPMorgan John L. Thornton Professor and Director of Global Leadership Tsinghua University of Beijing Then check out this video and the witnesses who are reporters who worked for Fox and what Fox did to maniipulate the news to their advantage which again is using public airways against the public. That is blatantly illegal. The Federal Elections commission should be involved in an investigation of this act on the part of fox. This is prima facia evidence of severe wrong doing and a blatant violation of our election laws. This company should have formed a pac, disclosed contributions and money spent on trying to influence the outcome of this election. They have used the public airways to avoid the law and processes for such acts. I think I will file a complaint with the Federal Elections committee and see what happens. http://youtube.com:80/watch?v=oi42gRAsmUM Check out this video. Its shocking.
- AntiochOG, on 12/31/2007, -1/+4Personally I think that Fox News owns their channel and they have the right to broadcast whatever they want as long as it doesn't violate your rights. You in turn have the right to get your news from whatever channel or source you like. That is how the free market works, and I think Ron Paul would agree.
- brokencrystal, on 01/01/2008, -0/+3The FCC doesn't agree.
- joell109, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0Fox News, and its non news affiliated channels, does "own their channel", but WE own the airwaves thru which they are broadcast. They use the airwaves for free, with one requirement being a certain ammount of news related coverage.
- PaDM, on 01/01/2008, -0/+3Fox is also broadcasting the Superbowl on Feb 03 - should they be allowed to choose the teams? (Or more realistically, to decide which candidates can run ADs during the game?) Fox and 'Friends' are supposed to report the election - NOT control it!
As to what Dr Paul would say, he already said it - Fox is afraid of him!
- AntiochOG, on 12/31/2007, -1/+4Personally I think that Fox News owns their channel and they have the right to broadcast whatever they want as long as it doesn't violate your rights. https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/ - RobertELehman, on 12/31/2007, -0/+8Fox News and Main Stream Media in general is in big trouble. There is an American Revolution taking place in the form of a grassroots movement to get a real candidate elected for President. Ron Paul is a true American first. We the people have recognized that he is different than all other candidates in that he will abide by the Constitution and eliminate an unconstitutional and tyrranical federal government that has way over stepped its authority. Lady Liberty in America has awoken from her slumber and she has charged us with taking the country back. Fox News and the MSM elite cannot hold back the will of the people who play by the rules. Keep fighting American Patriots. Now be ready to protect the vote by watching the vote on primary election day.
- brokencrystal, on 01/01/2008, -0/+1Let's get out there and wake the rest of them.
- jjroco, on 12/31/2007, -0/+8Q: Has Fox thus far done a good job to "recognize" Dr. Ron Paul?
A: No
Q: Based on Fox's polling numbers, do you think they consider him a "major candidate?"
A: No
Conclusion: If Dr. Paul is going to win this thing, then we need to get off our computers for a bit, grow the grassroots campaign that's been helping him, and get his name and materials out there. New Hampshire, while important, is just one state and we can't allow ourselves to get distracted from the bigger picture when the allegedly "Fair and Balanced" network disses him yet again. Still, it is cool that the Republican Party in the state issued that statement....they must have been getting too many calls from Duncan Hunter supporters ;)- Swmorgan77, on 01/01/2008, -0/+2The "Big Picture" includes the convention and state delagates... that may actually be more important this time around than winning primary states. No candidate is going to have a "coronation" coming out of the primaries (51% of delegates legally bound to vote for them on the 1st vote) so having our people as delegates is CRUCIAL.
- RobertELehman, on 12/31/2007, -0/+10Lastly, this press release by the New Hampshire GOP is another piece of evidence that shows the widespread legitimization of Ron Paul's Presidential Campaign. Real republicans know that Ron Paul is who we need to re-establish conservative principles of limited federal government. We are here on-line, in your community, and we will be at the polls on election day.
- tuurd, on 12/31/2007, -0/+8It's about time the NH GOP realized just what was going on and decided to do something about it before they lost all credibility. They are still complicit overall.
- Likkerish, on 12/31/2007, -0/+7I agree with DavidG11...Everyone keep your eye on Iowa, not on the forum exclusion.
REDOUBLE YOUR EFFORTS TO GET PEOPLE TO THE CAUCUS IN IOWA!
This will take care of the forum issue!
AND DONATE TODAY! HELP US GET TO $20 MILLION FOR THE QUARTER.- brokencrystal, on 01/01/2008, -0/+1If you are in Iowa, please, please go to the caucuses and show Ron Paul your support! This is so important.
- peacehumper, on 12/31/2007, -0/+8Thanks again FoxNews for making the news. This was truly a retarded attempt by the puppet-masters to try to control the stampede towards sanity in government.....it's really too perfect. The implicit message they are trying to send is - "We Decide, You Sit There and Shut-Up....remember? We Decide......sorry, no further questions....." or something like that. It would be hilarious if it weren't so damned pathetic....so transparent and easily predictable. Another win for the Founding Father Dude though, and the bonus is - it exposes FoxNews as the propagandists they are....Maybe they could just vote for all of us, it would save a whole year of campaigning and we could have ultimate tyranny forever after. This is great news though, it shows they are desperate. Prediction: Paul places second or third in Iowa and first in New Hampshire. Then it's on to the convention, this year being held in 'St.Paul', Minnesota. If that's not a clue....I don't know what else is.
- dgoddard, on 12/31/2007, -0/+8This is why it's nice to have Free Staters in New Hampshire, exerting pressure on the old guard :)
http://freestateproject.org - aleblanc14, on 01/01/2008, -0/+6What integrity shown by the NH GOP! Way to Go!!! This is yet another example of the LACK of integrity Fox News has shown in this election process.
- billseattle, on 01/01/2008, -0/+7People should also be making light of the so called "conservative" talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Lars Larson, Michael Medved, Michael Reagan and others who are also for the most part ignoring Ron Paul at best, and at worst they are trying to paint him as something other than the truth. The smears they put out are ridiculous, untrue, and outright lies because these people are afraid of a good man that is only trying to restore our republic to what it should be.
This trend proves that they are also being controlled by the elites, otherwise how can they justify the fact that they are giving more airtime and recognition to Hillary and Obama than they do Ron Paul ?
Ron Paul has raised more than MOST of the republican candidates this quarter (over 19 million dollars and counting) and has also broken the record for the most money raised by a presidential candidate in a single day (6 million dollars).
For Fox News and the phoney conservative talk show hosts to continue ignoring Ron Paul is like trying to Ignore an 800 pound Gorilla locked into a coat closet with you.
It is ridiculous, and insane.
Ron Paul is the only candidate that wants to return our country to the people, and rule of law (the constitution of the United States).
Unless he is elected, our rights and sovereignty are definitely in jeopardy.
Google "Freedom to Fascism" and watch it for free. If that doesn't wake you up nothing will. If you don't wake up, you deserve the Police state / One World Government we are evolving into.
RonPaulForPresident2008.com - brokencrystal, on 01/01/2008, -0/+1Fergus Cullen, chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party, issued a press release this afternoon about Fox News' presidential candidates forum scheduled for January 6. His release is below.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: December 31, 2007
Contact: Fergus Cullen, Chairman, New Hampshire Republican Party
NH REPUBLICANS: DON’T LIMIT DEBATE PARTICIPANTS
CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement regarding primary weekend debates:
“Limiting the number of candidates who are invited to participate in debates is not consistent with the tradition of the first in the nation primary. The level playing field requires that all candidates be given an equal opportunity to participate – not just a select few determined by the media prior to any votes being cast.”
“Therefore, the New Hampshire Republican Party calls upon all media organizations planning pre-primary debates or forums for both parties to include all recognized major candidates in their events.”
“The New Hampshire Republican Party has notified FOX News of our position, and we are in ongoing discussions with FOX News about having as many candidates as possible participate in the forum scheduled for January 6.” - rainbowrandolph, on 01/01/2008, -1/+3I pray to Allah this works
- joell109, on 01/01/2008, -0/+2I'm pleased Fox News fans are beginning to see the light, but don't be decieved by the "dirty tricks". Its very likely the republican party is in cahoots with Fox News to deep six Ron Paul; and they will get assistance, covert of course, from democrats and the "liberal media" as well. You see , they converge when the status quo is challenged.
Hopefully , their efforts will fail, but never underestimate their ability to manipulate public opinion - Marsharks, on 01/01/2008, -0/+5This is so fake, the statement says "Major candidates". To them, Ron Paul isn't a major candidate. He should have said, "major candidates, such as Ron Paul".

Subject: DON’T LIMIT GOP DEBATE PARTICIPANTS
Dear FOX News:
I cannot believe you are excluding Dr. Paul from the Janurary 6 Republican Presidential Debate--the very candidate who won the viewer polls in each of your first two televised debates. It's quite clear to me now that FOX News is trying to manipulate our nation's election process.
Yes. This is an absolute outrage!
You have stated that you base your debate invitations on poll ratings. Now that Ron Paul is ranking higher in the polls than other candidates who were invited, it's clear to me that your exclusion of him from your debate is nothing more than an intentional act of political sabotage. How can you people call yourselves a "fair and balanced" news organization?
Limiting the number of candidates who are invited to participate in your debate is inconsistent with the tradition of democracy, which requires that all major candidates be given an equal opportunity to participate -- not just a select few determined by the media prior to any votes being cast.
In spite of your attempts to freeze-out Dr. Paul, we supporters of his will beat the odds. We are going to get fired-up and use our creativity, our energy, and our burning desire for freedom to show Fox News, and other sold-out media organizations like yours, that the dynamic American spirit of the Twenty-first Century refuses to submit.
In further protest, I intend to contact every advertiser that supports your program and inform them of this situation, and that I will never again use their products or services while they continue to advertise on Fox News:

That is a sweet irony to be taking profits (Fox fur) and then giving the $$$ to the good Dr Ron Paul…. :)

This is what CBS reports in it:
"Fox said it had limited space in its studio - a souped-up bus - and that it invited candidates who had received double-digit support in recent polls"
Well FOX is just going to have to make room in the bus for Ron Paul.
100,000 people donated cold hard cash to his campaign, for each one who did, there are 50 who support Ron Paul just as passionately and work for him in other ways.
I am no supporter of Duncan Hunter, but I am for equal playing field.
Let both be in the debate!
Let us have democracy!!
Love, Lulu

- LuluBean, on 01/01/2008, -0/+3We bombarded Fergus Cullen and New Hampshire GOP with emails. It paid off. Since all the early information was that Fergus Cullen and NH GOP had made the decision to exclude Ron Paul. I am glad Fergus Cullen reversed it now, as it was a suicidal mistake for New Hampshire GOP to do that, to demonstrate they hate liberty, they hate democracy. Esp. considering their State Motto. So now the ball is in FOX's court. All eyes are on FOX now to see what decision they make. Their credibility is on the line. I trust they will make the right decision. Love, Lulu

Last but not least, go F yourself you duesch-bag, if the shoe were on the other foot, you and your kind would be the first ones running around crying foul but we who know the truth will try not to hold it against you. Hopefully one day your eyes will be opened to the truth and you will either get onboard with our struggle, or you will be trampled over as we take back our country.
- tempest0, on 01/02/2008, -0/+3I'm sick of ignorant Americans who allow the media conglomerates to direct our elections and politics. If Ron Paul received the same recognition from the media as Rudy, Mitt, McCain and Huckabee, he'd be at or near the top. Why are the "leading" Republican candidates ahead in the polls but waaaay behind in financial contributions (number of people and total $$)? How did Huckabee, a former governor of a small state with no name recognition, suddenly vault into the lead in a couple of weeks? The media embraced him when they saw their other horses, Rudy and Mitt, flailing. Positive stories flooded our airwaves from every right and center media outlet and the mindless, predictable lemmings ate it up and fell in line, like they always do.
- Orwig, on 01/02/2008, -0/+3Simply stop watching Fox and most of all, STOP patronizing any businesses that supports the Fox propaganda machine. This is the ONLY way to put a halt to this abuse of power. You can start by boycotting these vendors:
• Crest
• Delphi
• Mercedes Benz
• Comcast
• Subaru
• GMC
• Best Buy
• Travelocity
• Capzasin
• New Phase
• Orbitz
• Ditech.com
• eloan.com
• Dawn
• Toyota
• Centrum
• Nextel
• Vehix.com
• Gold Bond
• Aspercreme
• webmd.com
• American Express
• Holiday Inn Express
• M Professional
• priceline.com
Perhaps once these companies catch wind of a boycott on their products, they will have some influence over these decisions.- scrothroath, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0I believe that anyone who supports fox noise anytime is in my opinion is treading on American liberty's , because I believe that it is a fact that fox noise is meddling in liberty's under the guise of being a news media. presidential elections that are run , controlled and influenced by media are as corrupt as it gets . Ron Paul should be in any forum, discussion , or debate that has to do with presidential candidates . noise medias must be squelched by a public that cares more about news and unbiased reporting. I am not sure we Americans will censure the fox noise . fox noise is more to do with entertainment than anything. and people with a certain color on their neck are most attracted and pulled in by it in my opinion, the certain color on their neck is a colloquialism for being easily fooled. Muppet the ripper is exploiting the people and will be allowed to until the people wise up. I did a long time ago. it is a shame that big money people are not ethical in their motivations . power in the hand of some is a bad thing.
- EnewEd, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0It is time to hit the streets, and physically demonstrate our support for Dr. Paul. The polling place is the real seat of power, if you use it.
- AngEngland, on 01/02/2008, -0/+1Some great thoughts here as well - http://boycott4freedom08.com/ Can't wait to see the results tomorrow and then Fox will have to take it all back, won't they?
/off to write an email or ten - pavelpg, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0I can't believe people out there are completely content with what mass media is doing to Ron Paul. It's complete slander and bias.

Focus everyone's efforts in the primaries and caucuses. Paul's power is coming from people taking action. - baproamerican, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0If this is a democratic government.. Why are we trying to export it all around the world?? The fredom message will not be silenced, a movement has started that will not go away untill victorty is obtained. Its bred into Americans.
- thuff2000, on 01/02/2008, -0/+0A big thanks to the New Hampshire Republican Party!
