Hardball Shoutfest!: Chris Matthews calls Kevin James on BS
huffingtonpost.com — "The ensuing melee is just far to shouty and unhinged to transcribe. Basically it ran like this, over and over again: MATTHEWS: WHAT DID NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN DO? WHAT DID HE DO? YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT HE DID, DO YOU? JAMES: WUBBA WUBBA HUH?"

- msjentay, on 05/16/2008, -0/+7OMG, I saw this as it unfolded and it was sweeeeeet! That guy was shamefully stupid!
- arbouler, on 05/16/2008, -3/+7man, republicans are really good at using the same powerful words "legitimize, appeaser, hitler" over and over again. that dude sounded convincing enough even without no substance or facts to support him.
- TGMD, on 05/20/2008, -0/+1I've known democrats distort and misunderstand history just the same, both sides can be ignorant. Also, you shouldn't use the actions of one or two people to characterize an entire political movement.
That said, the man is an idiot and it's a shame he's allowed to push his bile on the air.

- manicmarvin, on 05/16/2008, -2/+5At least Neville Chamberlain didn't launder money for the Nazis. That was the Bush family.

http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Chris_Matthews_S ... - abby11, on 05/16/2008, -3/+1Im not sure but,he might be even MORE STUPID THAN DUBYA!Is that Even Possible?
- Bemuzed, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2This was excellent!!! This is one of the best examples of why you must be aware of who are getting information from. As this segment of the Chris Matthews show reveals, most -- not all --radio / television political talk show hosts are uninformed and just use rhetoric to create base responses from their audience and that is just irresponsible and sad.
- CitizenGeek2006, on 05/16/2008, -2/+1I really like Chris Matthews, even though he's much more conservative than I like!
- julia07, on 05/16/2008, -2/+1That's why they're called Talking points, people...
Sheeple don't have to think 'em out!!
- TGMD, on 05/20/2008, -0/+1buried for using the term Sheeple..
only ignorant fools who emulate sheep in nature use that term and not understand the terrible irony in it.

#2. Chris Matthews
MSNBC is the only cable news outfit paying attention these days. Fox never did, and CNN is becoming more like Fox every day.- TGMD, on 05/20/2008, -0/+1Very True, I've been getting more and more of my news from them in the form of podcasts, also the Meet the Press podcast.
BBC>NBC news>ABC>CNN>Walking around and asking people what's new>Fox

- saltcity, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1'bout time,
matthews has been giving these talking head "experts" way too much slack for too long....
take note liberals, matthews is no lefty or center lefty, don't be fooled
he joined the anti bush camp late
google "we're all neoconservatives now" a sad moment in matthews history
Olberman says these things every night, he should get the applause
this is good stuff though...we'll see - dunderballer, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1 I wouldn't want to play Trivial Pursuit on live TV when I was expecting a debate. Mathews just wanted to verbally assassinate someone for ratings. The attack was obviously planned which is pretty low considering Mathews has the comfort of pre-writing his questions and comments, often reading from a teleprompter, where James was speaking extemporaneously. James didn't claim to base his argument on historical premises so it was completely unfair to railroad him with a sudden history quiz on live TV. James' position in support of Bush and McCain is flawed, but Mathews should have attacked him on that rather than launching an unfair credibility attack.
- zephyr42, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1I saw this live.... I never really liked Hardball or its host. The TV always just stayed on after Keith came on. Watching kevin james squirm knowing he had absolutely nothing to say but try and dodge the question while chris matthews constantly went back to the original question was abxolutely hilarious... dugg for truth!
