Giuliani Unveils New Terror Strategy
lewrockwell.com — "If you elect me, I will not sleep until every single one of your liberties is lost. Next time Zawahiri tries pointing to our supposed freedoms, under my regime, his fatwas will fall on deaf ears. As mayor of New York City during the attacks of September 11th, I saw the consequences of freedom. It ends here."

- DaWodin, on 10/11/2007, -33/+4Those are pretty extreme things to say, and judging by the complete lack of citation I have serious doubts about this. Giuliani advocating martial law and abandonment of the Bill of Rights is ludicrous, and Nancy Pelosi going along with that line of thinking is absurd.
Citations or it didn't happen, burried.- kevin_qnn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satire
- bigdavediode, on 10/11/2007, -15/+4Too bad it's not particularly funny.
- xdream, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12I'm constantly amused by the stupidity that seems never ending with some diggers.
- quomen, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13Giuliani is pretty terrifying himself.
- DaWodin, on 10/11/2007, -15/+0Ah, didn't know it was satire, doesn't mention it anywhere on the site and I'm not familiar with this authors work. nm then.
- quami16, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15It didn't mention it? Well that would kind of defeat the purpose, no? Yikes.
- AlphaEta, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10They forgot to add one of these:

- buickparkave, on 10/11/2007, -5/+16It may be satire but there is truth in this. It's exactly what that criminal wants.
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2Yeah: he's a criminal alright.
Applaud him at and hang on his words at ground zero: but, like most, your attention span isnt large enough: so now that he's a presidential candidate, set your viewpoints to 'republican/hate'
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2Yeah: he's a criminal alright.
- madoc12349, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10If we don't elect him, we'll fall victim to another terrorist attack...
/sarcasm- AKBryant54, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20He actually said that though. Well, he said:
"Expect another 9/11 if you elect a democrat"
- AKBryant54, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20He actually said that though. Well, he said:
- guywhodoesstuff, on 10/11/2007, -3/+20Satire and sarcasm are both pre-9/11 ideas.
- xdream, on 10/11/2007, -4/+12Giuliani is a crook, a liar and an adulterer. PERFECT for the presidency! (and for the really really slow, this is sarcasm.)
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5how so?
- MurphyWatson, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Satire or not, its still funny and has relevance.
- lukas88, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14I'm making it a point not to vote for anyone that uses fear as an agenda. Terrorism is NOT a real threat to america. You have a better chance of dying in a car wreck than dying in a terrorist attack.
Give me a president that cares about treating its citizens right (not scaring them into submission) as well as treating the rest of the world with respect. - chitoiup, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5For a second there I thought this was real. You never know what politicians will think of next! Digg this, so that more people read it. Maybe they will have the same reaction that I had!
- tsoldrin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4This is not satire, it's real.
- chitoiup, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Ummm, yes it is...

Can you really imagine someone saying that ?? - Yinepuhotep, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@chitoiup
As a matter of fact, every one of the candidates other than Ron Paul and Mike Gravel HAS been saying things like that, in various ways, since they began campaigning.
- chitoiup, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Ummm, yes it is...
- noamsml, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5I'm sorry, but this is marked down as inaccurate because it's too close to being believable (OK, not really, but for the average digger it is).
- Tyrsson, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Though Giuliani may never have said this in so many words, his autocratic rule as governor of New York City suggests he wouldn't be opposed to such an approach.
http://www.nyclu.org/annualreview99.html - monergism, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Diggers are too stupid to understand satire. Marked as inaccurate unless listed as so.
- XivGNP, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Agreed, someone who doesn't know any better is going to eat up every word of that, just by the context of the page and it's (almost) believeable.
- pisanoromano, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Giuliani is a goddamn knob.
Was he a good mayor? NO! He just took the wrap as the Mr. Goodguy because of 9/11.
I guess most people forget he was trying to sensor art before the whole ordeal. I hope he has a stroke. - Xevec, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6I realized that it was satire when he talked about giuliani's proposed plan. I didn't feel "ha ha" funny, but it did bring up good points that giluiani just plain sucks. That he is dishonest and very ignorant of the facts. I seriously hope that the media stops supporting him, and the republicans, unless they want to lose this next election. They are already in a big hole...it would be bad to make it bigger. But it does show one thing. Republicans do things THEIR way...no matter what the public tells them. They don't compromise values. Reminds me of the national socialists.
- phenry, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1This was written by a young man in high school! I would be willing to bet he does not attend a gummint skool. I predict great things from him in the future!
