Faith-based government? - By Joseph Farah
worldnetdaily.com — Barack Obama says he is going to expand President Bush's so-called "faith-based initiative" if the American people elect him in November. That's no surprise! Obama and his party have never met a government program they didn't like and want to expand. Except it is all a big scam, and it is more government intrusion and redistribution of income.

- VinBea, on 07/02/2008, -5/+5Joseph, you do a great job telling it like it is!
Someone over at wnd.com needs to have a closed door sit-down discussion with David Kupelian - after all the great commentaries and the great book - he seems to have lost it in the commentary written today in which he admonishes us to vote for McCain?
Tax exemptions, money pouring into colleges and universities - into the establishment made of democrats and republicans out of DC by the oil producing islamic nations all are being made corrupt in that they are all being enticed and dragged around by money.
Example, Pat Robertson, just one example, I believe, compromised years ago, the Word of God, and because he enjoys a rather lavish life-style with a ton of perks (as a direct result of his willingness to compromise a little) - a life style and perks he doesn't want to give up - has continued compromising to the point he's lost his saltiness at the very least; to becoming very much not much different than the enemy we see growing daily throughout America...
I think that's a way in which we can determine whether ones' fruit is good or bad, based on what they do or don't do with money's influences...- ginger007, on 07/02/2008, -6/+0consider the other choice in the presidental vote. I know some of you want to vote for Paul or the others besides Obama but face the facts if you vote for them you might as well vote for Obama. not easy but realistic.
- goldenrule4, on 07/02/2008, -2/+4vinbea is right about Kupelian. What is going on over at WND? i thought the editor was supposed to have the point of view of the publisher, is like the dog wagging the tail.
Most of the arguments that Kupelian makes for the election of mccaine are absurd, specially the one that he will nominate a "conservative" to the supreme court. Is he aware that mccaine voted to confirm Ginsburg "the commie"?
sorry to have gone off the subject of Farah's column but i think this is big, it could make or brake WND. - notbysight, on 07/02/2008, -2/+1"Faith based" chatter gets votes and BHO spin docs are just covering over the "perceived" spiritual damage hits as of late.
Faith- DEbased is the truth of it.
First Faith must be in the obediance and alignment to Gods Word....but when BHO admits he dont read the Bible...he knows not much of Gods full council...therefore he will be left to his own understanding and devices...and those of his "soothsayers, astrologers and magicians"
Its also apparent proof we are in essence still a form of the good ol Theocratic Republic.
The masterful "wizards" of the new EU Constitution have carefully and forceably replaced any mention of "faith" with secular verbage only.
IF BHO voraciously consumed his Bible, a few times over, and became "right standing" with the Lords ways....there would be no further Constitutionaly immoral Govt expansion. among other corrections.. - congresssucks, on 07/02/2008, -1/+3Why Joseph Farah, politically you are a constitutionalists. It is Un-constitutional for the government to steal the money of citizens to redistribute the money. Even though this faith based is a big carrot for the christian (temptation), it is still wrong. Who knows maybe some of that faith based money will find its way to some poor terrorist here or in the middle-east.
- isparadiselost, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1Write Farah off. He's no more a Constitutionalist than G.W. He does talk a good game but falls far short of the mark left by our FF. At least his site is a decent source of info, assuming you get past the quasi-neocon agenda imbedded there. I visit but make damn sure not to click an ad link on it. Don't put a penny in his pocket!
- LoneRanger85, on 07/03/2008, -4/+3The reason the anti-religious left isn't going ballistic is simple. Either they KNOW Obama is lying, or they have all become born again. And, it doesn't even occur to them that if he's lying to the religious right, he's probably lying to the godless left too.
- isparadiselost, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2Spare me. Farah is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He has no more respect for the Constitution than the current crop of candidates do. I will say that he's quite adept at blowing smoke up your asses. "By their fruits ye shall know them." Farah talks a good game but comes up short when it comes to strict adherence to the Constitution.
He just wants you to visit his site so he can peddle his wares. His ilk is the worst enemy we have to face. Kiss you on the mouth while sizing up your back for where to stab...while giving you the pepsodent smile all the while. - SQLDigger, on 07/03/2008, -1/+1"Government money won't help. In fact, it will hurt. Government money always comes with strings attached. Government money corrupts, and more government money corrupts more."
I swear, this guy gets more brilliant every time I read him. I want him for President . . .
