elections.foxnews.com — Dismissing the idea the Paul campaign was trying to embarrass McCain or run a revolt at the convention, Benton said, “This isn’t about any beef with Senator McCain. There’s respect there.” >:-)

- Kent4jmj, on 05/12/2008, -2/+11McCain has not locked down the delegates he needs.
- Tess101, on 05/13/2008, -0/+7If McCain has locked down these delegates why is the GOP so afraid of Ron Paul, hmmmm..the process is not over until the Convention, and they bloody know it. I would love to see Foxnews put on a debate with McCain, and Ron Paul especially after they excluded Dr. Paul from the New Hampshire debate, but yet invited Thompson, and Guiliani, what a joke. I seriously doubt Foxnews would want the truth coming out from Ron Paul's lips, and Foxnews news would hate to see the ignorance, and stupidy from McCain especially on Economics.
- Kanard, on 05/12/2008, -1/+13That article is so wrong, so bias and so stupid. What happened in Nevada wasn't Ron Paul's supporters fault, they did what was legal to do, and they did not closed the convention.
Besides Ron Paul has a BIG chance of winning still, it is not decided as the mainstream media wants to make it look like, it can still end with Ron Paul as the nominee. - rmholla, on 05/13/2008, -0/+7We can only hope that Americans wake up in time to stop McAngry from officially getting the nod at the convention. See my Squidoo lens on McAngry for just how scary he is.
- kithogan, on 05/13/2008, -7/+2Ron Paul is a bitter old nut. He will NOT be the GOP nominee...........do we want to just give the White House to Obambi or the Girl?
- Todash19, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5Sorry Mr. Lesser of 2 evils. We dont play that game...
- Chassit, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Well spoken, sai.
- Todash19, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5Sorry Mr. Lesser of 2 evils. We dont play that game...
- nydrak, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5The article was indeed full of snipes. For one thing it didn't mention the double digit vote for Paul in Penn. It didn't mention that Paul came in Second in Nevada. It didn't mention that its not required that other candidates roll over and play dead once a candidate gets the number needed to win.
The GOP was delivered by Paul a youthful, vibrant, diverse and highly energetic group of supporters and the old guard is flogging them off with a whip and chair. The GOP is dying because they are not CONSERVATIVE anymore. - Todash19, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4Ron Paul's name is going to be put up for nomination at the RNC. It only
takes a majority of the delegations from as few as five states supporting a
Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate, to force a floor vote on that
candidate (see Rule No. 40b at http://www.gop.com/About/Rules31-41.htm ). We
WILL have a majority of delegates in at least five state delegations; under
the rules, simply presenting signed documentation from the majority of
delegates from at least five of the states at the convention that they
personally support Ron Paul for nomination would be sufficient. And, even
bound or pledged delegates can "demonstrate their support" of Ron Paul in
such a way for the Presidential or Vice Presidential nominating process. - Chassit, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4We should all be grateful that there remains an honorable and consistent American willing to stand up to the odds and fight for our great nation.
Doctor Paul: I personally thank you from the very depths of my heart. - nydrak, on 06/02/2008, -0/+1I will be going to St. Paul but not to demonstrate. Being arrested without cause and held for days is not unusual in today's USA. Provocateurs are common as well, tossing rocks and then running back to the cop side of the lines. This gives justification for tear gas and batons .. not to mention the new torture device, the Taser.
Paul will be renting space for his supporters and I will attend.
