Clinton WILL Concede TONIGHT [OFFICIAL]
news.yahoo.com — WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, campaign officials said, effectively ending her bid to be the nation's first female president.

- Bith8654, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2Yeah it works the same way with so-called "scandals" politicians go through, they are all blown out of proportion in the never ending quest for ratings.
- TheGuruStud, on 06/03/2008, -3/+3My local fox station (ch2 STL) just this morning said that obama hasn't won b/c hillary has more delegates than him so it wasn't over. WTF?
- Tiak, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3Heh, Obama is currently 4 delegates from clinching the nomination... He'll officially have it in a few hours, so that's kind of funny.
- Lunchbox37, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3Dugg for using 'Hill-dog'
- djk21108, on 06/04/2008, -9/+10Obama and Ron Paul are not any where near alike. I don't understand how Digg can make a complete switch between the two. One is in favor of larger more socialist government, while the other wants nothing more than a military and a congress. One is a religious righter on issues of abortion and gays, and the other is very much progressive. Both have similar views on Iraq, but what set Ron Paul apart was his take on the economy. He knows that this country is in for hard times, especially when Obama takes the presidency. Sorry guys paying more taxes isn't gonna put more money in your pocket. Ron Paul had a decent way to stop inflation and all that jazz, Obama is not going to save the economy.
I like his progressiveness on social issues, and i like his promise of hope in America, but neither he, or anyone I see on the political stage now can stop us from what looks to be an impending major recession.
Now go ahead and digg me down because this isn't the popular belief on this site now. I just hope you all remember that less than a year ago almost all of you were spitting in the face of Obama on here, and making claims that you'd take a bullet for Ron Paul.
I don't think most of you know how completely different your political views have become in under a years time. Just because Obama and Ron Paul both appeal to the younger set in America does not make them the same person.
I don't claim to know who's the best for America in the presidential job. One thing I do know is just because you are younger, does not mean you are a better equipped leader. Just because you have more experience in the Senate does not make you a better leader. All we have to go on now is what the candidates claim they stand for. Fact is, neither Obama or Mccain have ever been in an executive position. We simply don't know when it comes to that issue.
I know this has been a very general and pretty out there comment, I just have to get my frustrations out on this blind Obama support I've been seeing a lot of. So once again feel free to digg me down because I do not include the now ubiquitous Obama '08! at the end of my comment.- celkin, on 06/04/2008, -4/+2Obama and Ron Paul are not any where near alike. That's a pretty good and concise summary of the way things are. I tend to disagree economically-I think this downturn is going to be big, but I think Obama has the potential to be our Roosevelt for this generation. Of course, I'm not your typical Digger, I always kinda thought Paul was a kook, but I have a good friend who exactly this stereotype, he paraded Paul around back when and now he's Obama all the way.

- midejitsu, on 06/03/2008, -1/+4I hope you’re not a rebel. One of those crazy misfits who read digg standing up. If you are then you better sit down, ’cause I gots the news that will shock your world. This election is not over. In fact, if Mrs Clinton’s concession is truly forthcoming, this election is only just beginning. There’s another half year to go. Without ladies, but with more racism, ageism, bitter partisanship and feuds over which colour bible is the awesomest.
Maybe there’s hope for you, though. I heard slashdot is really nice this time of year. They also have election news, but it’s mostly focused on who tampered with which voting machine. Mmmm, tampering.

- winampman2, on 06/03/2008, -1/+8Yeah. It won't be official until she says the words.
And when she does, I'm going to replay it again on youtube 3 times in a row just to make sure I heard right.- waxoff, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Sorry, you'll have to wait just a little bit longer. =====
It's hard to believe, but the last two contests of the Democratic primary are happening right now.
Voters in Montana and South Dakota are heading to the polls and casting the final ballots in this long race.
There have also been some big developments over the past few days.
On Saturday, the Rules and Bylaws Committee of the Democratic National Committee agreed to a fair solution to allow Florida and Michigan to participate in the national convention in August. Barack gained a total of 68 delegates from Florida and Michigan combined.
We will need 2,118 delegates to secure the nomination, and we're closing in fast -- we're less than 40 delegates away. There are 31 total delegates at stake in today's contests, and a good showing in Montana and South Dakota should take us another big step closer to the magic number.
------
BOTTOM LINE: He hasn't won squat, he hasn't clinched the nomination and he's completely unelectable.- winampman2, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1If thats how it is, then Hillary ain't leaving yet.
Strangely, as of 5:13pm PT, CNN says Obama has 2,113... only 5 away. I guess they counted some superdelegates that Obama's people don't count.
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results ...- radiofrequency, on 06/04/2008, -8/+1Just wait until the superdelegates start defecting. Obama is of dubious character with too many ties to racism and islamo-fascism... he's unfit for the Office, unfit to even be a contender for the Office.
- winampman2, on 06/04/2008, -1/+5Oh.
Can you cite some reliable sources to prove he's racist and believes in "islamo-facism"? Or are you just regurgitating the ***** that your fellow Clinton supporters told you? - InnerRayg, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Oh yeah, boy that Obama sure is racist. Once he even called this dude "white". That's so crazy man, the guy was a pale lavender color. ***** that *****.
- radiofrequency, on 06/04/2008, -5/+1I'm being dugg down for quoting an Obama campaign email word for word!?
- MrSkrilla, on 06/04/2008, -1/+5Maybe it's because you called the article "Total *****" and said that Obama "hasn't won squat" and "he's completely unelectable". Hmmm... why don't you stop crying and learn how to think.
- fyngyrz, on 06/04/2008, -1/+5Unelectable? As compared to some disease-hammered old guy who can't keep his facts straight? As compared to a warmonger who wants to keep us in Iraq? As compared to a guy who said that they can't raise the college compensation for troops because it'd cause 16% of them to drop out (according to the same study that said it would cause a 16% increase in enrollment...)? The guy who said "Make it a hundred...That would be fine with me." -to a questioner who asked if he supported President Bush's vision for keeping U.S. troops in Iraq for 50 years? The guy who said "I'm going to be honest: I know a lot less about economics than I do about military and foreign policy issues. I still need to be educated." He's such a bloody idiot on military and FP issues, how could he know LESS about economics? The guy who said "You know that old Beach Boys song, Bomb Iran? Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran."? The one who said "I would rather have a clean government than one where quote First Amendment rights are being respected, that has become corrupt. If I had my choice, I'd rather have the clean government"? Holy crap, he wants us to elect him on the basis that he doesn't respect the constitution? What a deep-fried idiot!
No... I don't think so. Sorry. If anyone is unelectable here, it's McCain. All he has going for him is his service to the country (shared by many others, one should point out) in Vietnam, yet another pointless war based on lies and disinformation from our own government. We've had enough of that. Obama will be our next president if not on his own merits, which are considerable, but simply the McCain's lack of merit.- radiofrequency, on 06/04/2008, -3/+1You're a low-life sleazeball. Every injury McCain has sustained in his life has been in the service of the country. Obama is a phony, miserable party whore with no experience or qualifications for running the country who is killing himself by smoking cigarettes.
- fyngyrz, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3"Every injury McCain has sustained in his life has been in the service of the country."
Yes, and so this qualifies him to run the country exactly... how?

- omgbanana, on 06/03/2008, -4/+7Even having Hillary on the ticket as VP in November will weigh heavily in my mind when I decide who to vote for.
- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -2/+21On the off chance that a obama/clinton ticket would win the overall elections, obama would only be President for about two months before a clintonesque "accident" would befall him.
Don't do it, barry. Not if you value your life. - frontporsche, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Since there's a two-term limit as president, don't you think she might take advantage of a full term as first?

- LukasSmith, on 06/04/2008, -3/+2The Democrat party is already destroyed. This whole delegate system is a joke. When did the popular vote lose any meaning? Some Democrats actually believe they are choosing the next Democrat presidential nominee. The truth is that is only true if you happen to be one of the couple hundred delegates. Delegates and not the Popular vote of the American people has decided this parties winner. yet Again Democrats prove your vote doesn't matter. Change you can believe in? I think not.
- vision777, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Unless you count Michigan he even won the popular vote. Look around there was an article a day or two ago. She said Michigan and Florida didn't count until she started losing. And don't try to tell me she is afraid of disenfrancising those voters. She wasn't concerned when she was winning.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA! (Picture of Dick Cheney grinning)- enki25, on 06/03/2008, -2/+4Actually I think the combination would do a lot to seal up support for the ticket. - rz8472, on 06/03/2008, -3/+40According to SurveyUSA, Obama-Clinton wouldn't even be that electable. Obama-Edwards on the hand has a clear advantage most of the other possible matchups.
- zepher5150, on 06/03/2008, -3/+2I don't believe Obama would stoop to that level to get elected. His whole campaign has is based on a new kind of politics in Washington. Maybe I am wrong, but I believe in Obama as a man of integrity, that really wants to do what's best for America.
- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -7/+3Now that's funny.
Even if what you said was true, he'd still be fighting a couple hundred entrenched status quo politicians on both sides.
He'd get less done than our current congress. If that's possible.
- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -7/+3Now that's funny.

- MxM111, on 06/03/2008, -14/+9Lets face it, democratic party is split very close to the middle in their preferences. Choosing her as VP is a sensible and democratic (no pun intended) option, and contrary what may Hillary haters say, may help Obama to win this election.
- CrazyZ, on 06/03/2008, -5/+11Are you nuts? I'm a republican and I'm going to vote for Obama.....................unless Clinton is his running mate. I'll vote for McCain just out of spite. I won't lie, we republicans, those of us that are true republicans and not neocons, hate McCain, but we hate the Clintons more. Obama is young and sensible even if he is a little "left" for me and he may actually do this country good, that is of course if he doesn't have the Clinton machine running his back....
- jamesmcv, on 06/04/2008, -2/+7How are you any different to the Clinton supporters who say they will vote for McCain over Obama if Obama gets the nomination? Voting "out of spite" is a pretty irresponsible thing to do.
- geoboy, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3Why play such stupid games with your vote. Write in the candidate you want in office. If people stopped treating their vote as if it's part of some kind of bet and actually voted for the person they truly want, this country would be much better off. I'm assuming you'd like to have Ron Paul in office since he doesn't fit the criteria of 'neocon'. So just write him in. Don't toss your vote in the air and hope the wind takes it where you want it.
- MisterRik, on 06/04/2008, -1/+5Obama doesn't have to convince the Democrats. He has to reach as far into the Republican vote as possible to win.
- MxM111, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1If Obama combines his vote with Clinton vote, then nobody could stop them

- Schmapdi, on 06/03/2008, -0/+27Picking Clinton as VP would be a terrible start in changing the same old corrupt Washington politics. She absolutely should not be rewarded for a such a dirty, negative, divisive, delusional campaign.
- davidrools, on 06/04/2008, -0/+17I wouldn't be surprised if Clinton wants the VP spot to repay her $10M personal loan with Obama's general election fundraising and to get into the history books however she can. The way her primary campaign went, I absolutely don't buy the idea that she's selflessly interested in supporting the Democratic party.
- ZincSaucier, on 06/04/2008, -1/+4Im hoping the same thing. I dont like any of his political views but still might vote obama simply because hes run such an honest campaign and is so unpolitician-like. I think thats what America needs right now. If he added Hildog to his ticket I could never bring myself to give him my vote.
- diggrnumber1, on 06/04/2008, -2/+3He should choose Bloomberg as his running mate, but I don't know whether he would want to be VP. He needs an expert on the economy to help him out this fall.
- scotsman, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3Can you imagine having to work with her every day? It would drive even Obama to the brink. She would be a massive pain in the ass 24/7 and possibly at 3 am. Let's hope he picks someone like Chuck Hagel.
- proliance, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2She could very well go to the Supreme Court, replacing Ginsberg. Either way, if she gives up her Senate seat, someone is going to have to fill it. I hear Bill Clinton is free.
BTW, she's not conceding tonight, the Yahoo article said the exact opposite. FTA: "This has been a long campaign and I will be making no decisions tonight."- pdbailey, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1I think AP adjusted what is at the link to reflect the second round of what is coming out of the campaign.
- BrownBears, on 06/04/2008, -1/+4she certainly kissed her last glimmer of hope at the vp spot away tonight. i am shocked that she still believes she has any say in the process or has the right to take swipes at the new leader of her party. you don't mock your prospective boss - "i've been working on healthcare for 16 years, not 16 months." - if you want him to hire you. christ, this woman is aggravating.
but, what a night for the democratic party. beautiful stuff. - Pixelpaws, on 06/04/2008, -1/+2Having Clinton as VP is one of the only things Obama could do to lose my vote. I don't want a Republican in office, but I also don't want Clinton back in the White House.

Also, I hate how she says she's open for the VP slot...I'd hope Obama wouldn't take that route.- Qumahlin, on 06/03/2008, -5/+9If he did, it would ensure I simply don't vote. Vote for Obama? Yes. Vote for Obama and Hillary? Not a chance in ***** hell.

- thesonofdarwin, on 06/03/2008, -3/+3Of course they don't want it to be over. Their months of raking in loads of cash and working to put her campaign further in debt is soon to end. They, and everyone else, saw it was over long ago. But keep going little Clinton - "You are the train that could!" Except not.
- BigAmish, on 06/03/2008, -1/+2It's a matter of language. She won't concede... but she will suspend her campaign. The distinction is that she is in a better position to barter with Obama if her campaign is only suspended.
- KSUdesigner, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1I don't really get this whole "suspend her campaign" *****. All states will have voted after tonight, the only thing left to campaign for is super delegates. All those people have their minds made up already, whether they're declared or undeclared. They are either waiting for a nominee so they don't piss off the people they represent, or waiting to see which candidate will make them the biggest offer, neither of which is a good thing for the people of this country. I think "campaigning" should be illegal once all states have voted. Super delegates should be illegal altogether IMO.
- Qumahlin, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1You don't understand. If she openly ends her campaign it actually makes it harder for herself to be picked as VP. By "suspending" her campaign it gives her a bit of breathing room and allows her to still be annoying and still be a part of things until the "official" end.
- onefatfrog, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Unfortunately, the super delegate system is the way the Democratic party has decided they want to govern the party. They make the "little people" FEEL like we have a say in it, but they reserve the right to make the ultimate decision if they don't agree with the outcome. I hope this isn't a reflection on how they want to run the country...

- CrazyZ, on 06/03/2008, -6/+1HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Funniest thing I've read today. You'll see republican turn out like never before.
- jcmiro, on 06/04/2008, -0/+0You're an idiot if you think media and news are bi-partisan and represent the nation....
- brstilson, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1"You'll see republican turn out like never before."
Take a look at the primaries, a full 25% of the party is voting for Huckabee, Romney, and Paul even though McCain has had the nomination clinched for months. A full 20-25% of the party felt so strongly against McCain that they stood in line to vote for another candidate despite knowing it wouldn't matter. That really says a lot. McCain is going into November with 3/4 of his party behind him, a failed economy his party is responsible for, and an expensive, pointless Iraq war.
Obama could do it by himself, but Clinton on the ticket would be the absolute death blow. Her support among the working class swing voters would utterly demolish McCain in November.
- Emceay, on 06/04/2008, -3/+3You're missing some punctuation there: No way, Obama will beat McCain!

- stonewaljacksn, on 06/03/2008, -16/+2No, actually it's not. Beating a female candidate is one of the biggest upsets? Why because she was a media darling at the start?

- Derter, on 06/03/2008, -13/+28That isn't good. Clinton asking to be VP mean Obama can't refuse or there will be too much division. Hillary did not do anything unless it benefited her and hurt the other guy--she better hope Obama is much more forebearing and forgiving than she is--word to HRC supporters and to HRC: Obama may be very forgiving but most of his supporters have their own minds. If it was up to me, she'd pay her own debts pronto starting with the people she owed like vendors, then her staff, then herself and if she fell short--let her show what a great leader she could have been by personally footing the bills and sucking up the losses. I will be waiting to donate to Obama once the spectre of HRC's greedy backstabbing welfare hands are no longer a possibility.

- speedXdesign, on 06/03/2008, -12/+7Ideologue ideals will lose the election for you "change" lemmings. Calling American's that don't believe in socialism/marxism "rednecks" proves how out of touch most leftists are.
- jefuchs, on 06/03/2008, -34/+40I want Obama to win, but he loses my vote if Hillary is on the ticket. I'm not kidding. I'll vote McCain.
Hillary does not represent change, plus she's exceedingly corrupt and dishonest. I can't imagine Obama maintaining an honest and ethical image while associating with Clinton.- dodgejon, on 06/03/2008, -7/+6Completely agree. Whether or not Obama takes Hilary as his VP will say a lot about how he handles politics.
- AshamedAmerican, on 06/03/2008, -4/+48So you're just going to hand it over to Bush 3 because she would be VP?
- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -13/+3Better a Bush 3 than a carter 2.

- flavioribeiro, on 06/03/2008, -7/+2Well, get ready because your idea of change is a man who voted for the patriot act. I won't be the least bit surprised if Obama associated with Hillary.
- Lazydriver, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1The Revised and Edited Patriot Act.
I'm actually going over the 372 pages of the first and plan to compare it to the second, but first I'll need a printer and then I need a highlighter. - InnerRayg, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1And Clinton voted for the war. Pretty sure we're even on bad ideas.
Of course Lazydriver has a point, but still.
- Lazydriver, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1The Revised and Edited Patriot Act.
- vinnyvenus, on 06/03/2008, -1/+9I think Obama needs to think very hard about putting Hllary on the ticket. On the one hand she got almost half the vote in democratic primary and won key demographics of that democrats need to win in november, on the other hand she is very polarizing figure. It's gonna be a tough choice.
- MrNibs, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3It's more than the polarizing aspect of Hillary. Having her on the ticket pretty much goes against the core of Obama's campaign message. You can't talk about changing the way politics is done and point the finger at McCain while having her standing next to you—the republicans will have a field day with that.
Having referenced an assassination of a presidential candidate as a reason to stay in the race, AND said in the past that McCain was a stronger candidate than Barack should pretty much negate Hillary's chance of a VP slot. With all the potential VP resumes on his desk, my guess is Hillary's will stand out as being horribly tainted and float to the bottom of the pile.
I hope the DNC does not force this on the Obama camp. I hope they're smarter than that.
- MrNibs, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3It's more than the polarizing aspect of Hillary. Having her on the ticket pretty much goes against the core of Obama's campaign message. - DinosWillDie13, on 06/03/2008, -2/+9People complain about the Clinton supporters saying they would refuse to vote for Obama. We are being a little biased here. I think its about time we realize that the most important thing is getting the dem. party in the white house. Anyway everyone know that VP is just a trophy position.
- alwilson, on 06/03/2008, -2/+11"trophy position" WTF??? You should have told that to Cheney before him and his chronies destroyed the US image abroad. Bush was the whipping boy and Cheney pulled the strings.
- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -1/+4Yea. Before Bush they hated us and took our money. But now they just hate us and take our money.

- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -1/+4Yea. Before Bush they hated us and took our money. But now they just hate us and take our money.
- Fragowell, on 06/03/2008, -2/+8"Anyway everyone know that VP is just a trophy position."
Are you ***** kidding?
Hillary would be the new Cheney.- ozydingo, on 06/03/2008, -4/+5I don't think Hillary would be as bad or as powerful as Cheney
- Kautylia, on 06/03/2008, -4/+3I feel like she might be as powerful, but not bad. Charisma was largely what she lacked, and in many ways it cost her the nomination. Obama could be the charismatic figurehead while the real brain is making decisions in the VP seat. Sounds good to me.
- queenbee93, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3Nope, HRC IS bad--she would wire tap her enemies, have pay back lists, use her office in ways she should not and would do it all with the surety and vindictiveness that marked her campaign, then when the ***** hit the fan, she'd lie like a rug and try to pin it all on Obama. HRC is a liar and she does not even hold positions of conviction, instead holding them for expediency until they no longer suit her. Maybe your morals/values and convictions are so shallow that supporting her and riding that pig is enough for you--but some of us were never Republican nor do we think like them--decency matters. Hillary is not decent, I truly hope Obama does not reward her nasty campaigning with the VP, she has a lot of nerve after all that she has done to him and his campaign.
- Sakumi, on 06/03/2008, -1/+3I could care less what party was in the whitehouse as long as the person was a good nominee. I'd take Paul, and he's a Republican. I'll take Obama, and he's a Dem. It's about the person not the party, but this country seems to think it's some game with 2 kids and one kid has to win.
- Triskozko, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1Don't you care about any issues anywhere?
- queenbee93, on 06/04/2008, -1/+3HRC and Bill AND the cabal they would bring in already know their way around the WH. They would set their power base into play, undermine Obama, keep his people out of the loop, make life hell and he would just be a token. Some people can take anyone to bed and walk away from it--but nobody can take a cobra to bed and think it will turn out fine. For Obama to accept HRC, would weaken his position as POTUS and we would assume that no matter what he said, that the Clintons were running the show--if he needs that to win--best to lose--because you are wrong, it is not about just getting the Dems back in power--it IS all about the character of the people who go there--and the clinton's are snakes just like Bush and Cheney were, no sense in Dems providing the same monday morning quarter back moment to the country as the GOP now has to do. Use honor--win without her or forever have her claiming he won because of her. Fvck that beotch and her husband.
- Triskozko, on 06/04/2008, -1/+1My point is: If you're equally OK with Obama and Paul, two candidates with radically different ideas, then you need to start taking a stance on issues rather than supporting the latest Digg craze.
- eviljolly, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1@Triskozko
Ron Paul wants to cut spending, end the war on drugs, abolish the IRS, and bring the troops home.
Yes, Obama has a different strategy for approaching these things, but that doesn't mean they aren't just as effective.
If I honestly thought Ron Paul had a chance he would be my primary candidate, but Obama seems to be our only hope for having a sane President. (at least what I consider sane)
I don't think these candidates have "radically different ideas" as much as radically different approaches to a solution.
- alwilson, on 06/03/2008, -2/+11"trophy position" WTF??? You should have told that to Cheney before him and his chronies destroyed the US image abroad. Bush was the whipping boy and Cheney pulled the strings.
- waningdelusion, on 06/03/2008, -2/+7I can't decide where I stand. On one hand, I think it makes more sense to have her represented in the cabinet because such a large portion of Democrats voted for her. They also see eye to eye on quite a bit, politically.
On the other hand, their supporters seem to hate each other. Either way, if you vote for McCain, you deserve what you get.- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -1/+2There's always a third party. Or you can write in anybody you want.
One things for sure, doing nothing never got anything done.
- keymanjim2, on 06/03/2008, -1/+2There's always a third party. Or you can write in anybody you want.
- Leminnes, on 06/03/2008, -0/+12Don't be dumb. Sorry, that is just as stupid as the insane Clinton supporters saying they want Democrats to win and only want Hilliary to become the Candidate so the Dems will win but then turn right on around and say "But I'll vote McCain if Obama gets the ticket."
Oh, boo hoo. First of all, who the hell cares if she is VP. VP has absolutely no (official) presidental power. The VP is only the head of the Senate and that is all. If you want the dems to win, vote for Obama whether Hillary is his running mate or not. This is about getting the Republicans out of the damn White House, not for you to be selfish and hard-headed.- formergthing, on 06/03/2008, -1/+5If Hillary is VP on the ticket, she won't be VP for long, if you know what I mean. She wants to be president and she will do whatever it takes to get there.
- Leminnes, on 06/04/2008, -3/+2I hope you're not implying she's going to have him killed because that is even MORE idiotic then what Waningdelusion said. Hillary is not THAT crazy, no matter how crazy you are.
- queenbee93, on 06/04/2008, -0/+4Actually Hillary IS that crazy. But her advantage is that many people who are not that crazy cannot fathom others being that way. HRC is a sociopath, she does not even know when she offends people or why lying is wrong until her handlers tell her to apologize and say why. If someone could show HRC a way to kill off Obama and not get blamed for it--I have no doubt that she would do that and then lie her way through all the investigations, even if there were video tape. You'll have to forgive the Obama supporters who prefer to be labeled crazy by the likes of you, rather than take a chance on crazy Hill and Bill and later you are proven wrong--cuz somehow your saying "oops I was waaay off on that one" on the blog will not help a dead man.
- twiztidsinz, on 06/04/2008, -1/+2"Oh, boo hoo. First of all, who the hell cares if she is VP. VP has absolutely no (official) presidental power."
Hi.. let me introduce you to Dick Chaney.... - InnerRayg, on 06/04/2008, -1/+2You know her personally then queenbee?
- Leminnes, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Queenbee: I AM a Obama supporter. Have been since day one. Don't go assuming me calling Hillary not crazy makes me a supporter of hers. Sure, I don't like her but she is not crazy enough to have someone assassinated and I don't care what the hell you say. She is NOT that crazy.
Twiztid: Hence why I said no (official) power. Under the rules of the constitution, the VP had no real power. The most the VP and President do is talk to each other about issues. And I don't think having Clinton as the VP could hurt that mostly because I don't think she would be able to change any of Obama's positions.
- john2kx, on 06/03/2008, -0/+5_only_ the head of the Senate? o_O
- Leminnes, on 06/03/2008, -1/+1As far as my knowledge, which is (I'll admit) not as much as other people, that is about the extent of their power. They lead the senate in their hearings and the like.

- bb5999, on 06/03/2008, -1/+4I believe it was Edward Abby who said;
"Society is like a pot of stew, now and then you have to scrape the scum off the top."
He puts her on the ticket, I am gone. My vote, my campaign efforts, my money, will all go to another candidate. He has so many decent options, candidates that will help in the west, help with the military, help with whites, latinos......His folks will do the math and come up with someone, someone who can play a much more positive roll.
She represents everything wrong with DC. Though I am against Obama's socialist policies, I like the new blood.
This is the first chance in my 38 years of a real shake up at the top, but not with the baggage that is her.- brstilson, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Obama/Richardson 2008!
- ozydingo, on 06/03/2008, -1/+3Honestly I think that's a bit childish if you're saying that for the reason I think you are. If you can back it up go ahead, but it seems to be just irrational loyalty to an unproductive extreme.
- LuCiFer6, on 06/03/2008, -0/+3He's going to need her help one way or the other. Now I don't want him to pick her as VP but I'll dam if I vote for another Bush Administration just because he picks her as VP.
But again he's going to need her help to heal the democratic party. Hell let her preside over the Senate while he takes care of business.- queenbee93, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3He won't have a say--you guys are too young to really know why Carter was such an ineffective candidate aren't you? She can put people in key positions, keep doing things behind his back, he can die the death of a thousand cuts by innuendo all traced back to her and her cabal. No thank you. Keep that bitch and I do mean bitch as far away from any Presidency as possible.
- zardoz73, on 06/04/2008, -0/+5I would be really disappointed, too, if Hillary were the VP running mate, but come on. McCain? Don't vote for that douchebag. I'm begging you.
- sleepwalkers, on 06/04/2008, -2/+3***** that, I'm not casting my vote for any ticket with Clinton or McCain on it.
- cave, on 06/04/2008, -1/+9I wish I could digg you down more than once. Sure Clinton would suck as a VP, but she still would suck a million times less than McCain as PRESIDENT. What the ***** are you thinking!!
- TheAmazingBob, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1I think that if we threw her in VP, it would be equivalent to what the Republicans did with Teddy Roosevelt. For those who don't know their history, they put Teddy in as VP because he was seen as a radical idiot, and VP doesn't really have much say in anything. They put him as VP to shut him up. Although the Teddy plan backfired on the Republicans when McKinley was assassinated, I think we could accomplish the same with putting Hillary VP, to shut her up.
- austin006, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1yeah but what if obama is assassinated?
- TheAmazingBob, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Seeing how Bush survived 8 years, we have to have hope in the Secret Service.
- austin006, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1yeah but what if obama is assassinated?
- Paramnesia, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2And Mccain is counting on you to vote for him out of spite.
Clinton disgusts me. Her exist speech was VILE. almost threating Obama with the '18,000,000' votes.
I agree with you that Obama should NOT pick that disgusting troll. If he does though, rest assured its because Hillary will do her best to destroy him if he doesnt pick him. She wants nothing more than to see him fail for the
' I told you so'
However I do hope he says no to her and maintains his integrity. - Rulex, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Wait, Obama never said she would be on the ticket, did he? it's not like you can trust what any of this guys say anyway right?
- brstilson, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1So you'd prefer McCain as PRESIDENT over Hillary Clinton as VICE PRESIDENT? I don't like Clinton either, but good God man, any other vote would just put McCain in office. I'd rather endure another 4 years with a Clinton in office than George Bush II.
- dodgejon, on 06/03/2008, -7/+19Wow...thanks for the graceful exit Hilary... Too little too late. I really hope the VP spot is not open to her.

- psker, on 06/03/2008, -5/+28Her "concession" speech will be more about trying to blackmail Obama and the dems to give her the VP nod. She will make the focus be on her rather than about supporting Obama in the general.
- starmanfalls, on 06/03/2008, -0/+6Spot on. I'll bet you are right.
- TheAmazingBob, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1I doubt it, if she has any brain left she knows that her only shot at VP is by listening to the public opinion.

- mtcobb2, on 06/03/2008, -1/+29That's sort of an inaccurate title... She is not conceding. She is ending her campaign, but is staying in the race in order to have leverage on Obama's campaign. She wants to press him into placing more focus on some issues (healthcare, etc.), as well as into choosing her as his VP. So she's acknowledging that she has lost the race, but isn't dropping out just yet in order to further her agenda.

- The_Red_Monkey, on 06/03/2008, -22/+14I would like to congratulate John McCain on winning the Presidency. To be honest I don't think that racism has taken enough of a backseat for a HALF WHITE/ Half black Obama to get elected. I just can't see it. Does it make me racist or a pessimist?
I do not agree with his liberal politics so I am not voting for him. I would vote for a conservative black candidate but I just don't see a lot of "closet" racists doing the same. The southern Dems will not vote for him and a lot of pearly white suburbanites are scared of his half blackness. Its sad really.- mamradpivo, on 06/03/2008, -5/+1You're certainly a pessimist. I don't know you enough to call you a racist. Even on the internet.
I think America is ready and desperate for Obama. - Deanblackoak, on 06/03/2008, -3/+5You are so completely and utterly wrong and I hope when Obama wins you come back here and admit it.
- PosedMagnet, on 06/03/2008, -1/+0Wrong reply.
- PosedMagnet, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1I LOL'd.
Now the question is how many people will think you're actually serious :P - cadmiumpaint, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3You are either a racist or have been living under a rock. Do you realize that Obama's base is EDUCATED WHITE MALE voters?
- runCMD, on 06/04/2008, -2/+1not exactly ALL educated white male voters fall for the charisma : )
- Emceay, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Keep at it, you're doing a fine job helping his cause.
- mamradpivo, on 06/03/2008, -5/+1You're certainly a pessimist. I don't know you enough to call you a racist. Even on the internet.
- lokee73, on 06/03/2008, -9/+33For some reason I just can't stop thinking her speech will be something like:
"Thank you all for coming tonight, It is with heavy heart that I concede victory to Barak Obama. I see many of my advisers in the audience, and to them I would like to say the following: ***** You! ***** You! ***** You! ***** You! Oh.. and especially ***** You you piece of *****. To everyone else in America, go ***** yourselves. I'm outa here!"- Corrosionx, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2In her head...
- 180andback, on 06/03/2008, -1/+8***** you, ***** you, ***** you, you're cool, ***** you, I'm out.
- sh4rkb1t3, on 06/04/2008, -2/+1***** ***** ***** ***** hes a muslim ***** ***** ***** ***** sexism ***** ***** ***** ***** vice president ***** ***** ***** *****
- meatychud, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2i think that's what she actually said. But i'm not sure, all i could focus on was the fountain of ***** spewing from her mouth.
- walkable, on 06/03/2008, -2/+5I would like for her to concede, but I did not see it in this article. Therefore it has to be buried for now. Sorry :(
- SkippyDoorknob, on 06/03/2008, -2/+3Sheesh! What a quitter!
