Clinton Supporters Send Obama Attack Emails To Supers
huffingtonpost.com — As the Democratic primary nears its long-awaited conclusion, undecided superdelegates have been drowned under a sudden deluge of angry, sometimes vicious emails from Hillary Clinton supporters urging them to not fall in line behind Barack Obama.

- okokokok, on 05/09/2008, -3/+96In all fairness it just may be McCain supporters doing this deed.... oh wait, what the ***** is the difference?
- papipablo, on 05/09/2008, -7/+19McCain supporters are a classier bunch.
- paradexes, on 05/09/2008, -2/+11Heh, the irony is that, those idiots plans to send angry emails and such will only cause the plan to backfire. You ***** off enough of the supers and that is all it will take to sway them to Obama. Anger of that kind is a form of weakness. A temper tantrum from the Hillary camp, that knows it's on its way out. She cant go quietly so scorched earth is her policy. To be honest I would not be one bit surprised if she wound up being McCains VP.
- lorductape, on 05/09/2008, -2/+10Obama has already won
- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Unfortunately it is not. If you go to Hillary's blog you'll see the whole bunch of tearful soccer moms trying to rally each other up and tell "dem darn supradelgates that if our gurl hillary isn't presdent were voting for mccainnn!!". So while they may not be McCain supporters, they are stating simply that he is their second choice, which is just as bad.
- rentmitchum, on 05/10/2008, -0/+4McCain is the obvious second choice if you're a Clinton supporter, she's made that much clear.
- brad3378, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3If the attack letters came from McCain supporter, they would be attacking Obama's Platform.
If the attack letters did indeed come from the Clinton camp, they would be attacking Obama for some other reason.
Her platform is 95% identical, so why would she risk inadvertently dismissing herself by attacking Obama for his policies?
- smookyfufu, on 05/09/2008, -2/+54Hillaryis44.org are the ones that are doing this.
- writerswrite, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8That figures.
- dinot, on 05/09/2008, -2/+41If the internet had a tumor, it'd be called Hillaryis44.org
- wyrdness, on 05/09/2008, -1/+17I love the 'Why Hillary' page on Hillaryis44.org: "This page is under development and will be uploaded soon."
So they can't even provide any reasons for voting for her. Hillaryarious. - WNW3, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Gah! I just went there. What a mind-numbing site.
- qwerter, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5Why does the pic of her at the top of the page look like it's from the 90s? Nostalgia?
- PopcornDave, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2Maybe that's when she was 44?
- wyrdness, on 05/09/2008, -1/+17I love the 'Why Hillary' page on Hillaryis44.org: "This page is under development and will be uploaded soon."
- NyteStarNyne, on 05/09/2008, -2/+20One article's title from that site: "Hillary Clinton’s People Politics vs. Barack Obama’s Thug Politics"
Aww, such an adorable website.- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Haha yeah. The ultimate irony is that they apparently do not realize that by voting for McCain they are the one constituency that stands to lose the most. Between McCain calling is wife a "trollop" and a "*****", which shows his respect for women, he has also pledged to do everything he can to overturn Roe v Wade.

http://www.hillaryis404.org - brianjlowry, on 05/09/2008, -0/+9"The latest Chicago thuggery is a plan for Obama to get delegates in Michigan - a state in which Obama removed his name from the ballot! Imagine that. A candidate does not run for election but gets votes. This surely is new - and dangerous, and undemocratic, and unwanted."
Weren't candidates not supposed to campaign or run in those states as they violated party rules? I think neither should count as they ignored the DNC.- GlassAgate, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Write-in's?
- ryan850, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1What does Hillary is 44 mean?
- dcmjzero, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5they want hillary to the 44th president.
- Smuikas, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2The 4's in their favorites icon look like boobs.

- motivatedmama, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Try this nastiness! The worst of the worst. Occasionally you will see references to "a noose" for Obama in the comments, and now Edwards and the supers are all "Misogynists"! These people should be judged mentally unfit to vote.

- Hillsfar, on 05/09/2008, -2/+42"Donna Brazille, Al Gore's campaign manager and a stalwart of the Democratic Party, responded with frustration to a writer's threats of defection: 'Honestly, this is the 9th email today," she wrote before 8:00 pm. 'So I believe you're ready to not only destroy Roe versus Wade, voting rights, civil liberties and civil rights. Perhaps adding trillions more to the deficits through non-stop tax cuts to the wealthy and 100 more years in Iraq. Yes, please join Rush and McCain asap. The train has left. Catch it.'"
Seriously, the Clintonites have always been disgusting in their negativity and hatred.- dinot, on 05/09/2008, -1/+16Not to mention blind devotion. One thing that I've noticed about Clinton supporters is that they'd rather be "right" about their opinions as opposed to "right" about reality. All this effort is to prove that they were "right" all along.
Unfortunately for them, they were never right.- vexingmodstwo, on 05/09/2008, -15/+1Hey look what I can do:
Not to mention blind devotion. One thing that I've noticed about Obama supporters is that they'd rather be "right" about their opinions as opposed to "right" about reality. All this effort is to prove that they were "right" all along.
... and you know what? It would be just as accurate.- nbyn, on 05/09/2008, -1/+7You're about 16 years too early for this comment.
Seriously, people on Digg don't want to hear this, but I saw the same type of people with the same level of devotion to Clinton in '92 as I see now with Obama.
So Michelle, take some notes for 2024 on what not to do when running for president. - dinot, on 05/09/2008, -0/+6That's absolutely true. But I notice you failed to include the last part of my post. Therein lies the difference.
- nbyn, on 05/09/2008, -1/+7You're about 16 years too early for this comment.
- WNW3, on 05/09/2008, -1/+5Kinda like Bush supporters
- brad3378, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2One thing I've noticed about Clinton supporters is that they share Obama's political views.
- vexingmodstwo, on 05/09/2008, -15/+1Hey look what I can do:
- motivatedmama, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Go Donna! Straight to the point! I doubt that the rabid feminists have yet to really dig into what a sexist pig McCain is since they're all so blinded by their irrational hatred of Obama. She left out the fact that he called his own wife a "*****". And we all know the rest of his marital history. When the majority get their heads on straight we may still lose 5% of them who'd rather cut off their noses. Good riddance.
- dinot, on 05/09/2008, -1/+16Not to mention blind devotion. One thing that I've noticed about Clinton supporters is that they'd rather be "right" about their opinions as opposed to "right" about reality. All this effort is to prove that they were "right" all along.
- Hillsfar, on 05/09/2008, -3/+79A superdelegate wrote to a Clintonite threatening defection: "I spent my entire life in the two reddest states in the entire U.S. so please excuse me if I fail to discern the nuances of the arguments sent my way this evening in what appears to be an orchestrated campaign to intimidate the remaining unpledged delegates by threatening to leave the party and vote for a third Bush term if I and others like me don't vote for Sen. Clinton. I have been uncommitted throughout this campaign because I wanted to see how the candidates performed in a variety of settings. I am proud of them both. But I am horrified by this effort to threaten votes for McCain if super delegates don't vote for Sen. Clinton. I have received hundreds of emails from both sides - but I can say without exception that I have not received a single email from an Obama supporter that threatened a vote for McCain if I didn't support Sen. Obama. You really ought to be ashamed."
- Enasni1212, on 05/09/2008, -1/+16Maybe it's just me, but if I got an angry letter from a supporter of an opposing candidate, I would vote for whoever he/she didn't want me to, just as a way of saying, "***** you."
- SanTe, on 05/09/2008, -4/+10The thing I got out of that the most: stop assuming these letters are coming from Democrats. I don't believe for a minute that the majority of them are. Republicans, on the other hand, have proven repeteadly over the last decade that they are not above impersonating others to divide and conquer. This is no different than Rush Limbaugh's appeals to his listeners to ***** with the Democratic primaries by switching parties temporarily. Do Democrats do that? I'm sure they do. But I bet the GOP's effort is far far more organized and intense.
Anyway, my point is don't make assumptions about who is sending the letters. - paigeinphilly, on 05/09/2008, -0/+14"but I can say without exception that I have not received a single email from an Obama supporter that threatened a vote for McCain if I didn't support Sen. Obama"....
so true so true...thats how we roll.

- writerswrite, on 05/09/2008, -3/+54You know, I support Obama and I've written several letters to my superdelegates asking them to endorse Obama. I've expressed concern over Clinton's campaign tactics, but have not threatened to vote for McCain, because I would NEVER vote for McCain. You see, I'm a Democrat. No self-respecting Democrat would vote for McCain over EITHER of these candidates. Anybody who says they would is a Republican in sheep's clothing.
- wild, on 05/09/2008, -6/+23[Anybody who says they would is a Republican in sheep's clothing.]
Or an Independent, like me, who votes not because of the party, but because for the person running.- aliengoods, on 05/09/2008, -3/+7I'm an independent only because I could've voted for Ron Paul based solely on his economic and foreign policy ideas. Otherwise I've never voted for a Republican for any position at the federal level (although I have voted for 3rd parties when the democratic candidate was a douchebag, and I've voted for Republicans at the state and local levels).
- maliath, on 05/09/2008, -3/+6Whether you like it or not, you're voting for a set of policies and ideologies that represent a party - a party that the candidates *choose* to be a part of. At no point are you simply voting "for the person running". That is what morons said in 2000 when they elected Bush. You either agree with the policies that are shared by Obama and Clinton or you don't. Figure it out.
- defska42, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2I think you are right on, here. I know that I lean Democratic on mostly everything and for all intents and purposes I am a Democrat except that I am registered Independent because I refuse to support the party system itself. In other words, I don't support the Democratic Party, but I agree with them on most of the issues.
- brianjlowry, on 05/09/2008, -4/+2Dig parent up.
- Schmapdi, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Especially when you consider that Obama and Hillarly share the same position on like 95% of everything. You'd have to be a real moron to actually vote Mccain over Obama if you actually believe in what Clinton says. To be fair, the reverse is true as well - but I can see why you'd have a personal distaste voting for Clinton nowadays.
- wild, on 05/09/2008, -6/+23[Anybody who says they would is a Republican in sheep's clothing.]
- SickMonkey, on 05/09/2008, -6/+40I support Obama, but if he wasn't the nominee, I would still vote for Hillary over McSame. This is just sad.
- TheLastFreeMan, on 05/09/2008, -1/+9Dugg for McSame
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -3/+4I'd probably just stay home.
- neogoblin, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1Yeah and let everyone else decide. Idiot.
- defska42, on 05/09/2008, -0/+5This is an argument I've had with myself for a while now (and thankfully it doesn't seem to matter anymore). I KNOW that I will never vote for McCain. Period. But, I am not sure that I could vote for Clinton. Although, I am sure a lot of that is just heat-of-the-moment stuff and I imagine I would come to me senses come November.
As I look at it now, she is an obvious improvement over Bush, McCain, and co. on the issues; but she would potentially be a disaster for us on the International level, and I believe Obama's more even-keeled way of doing things would accomplish a lot more in Washington. Republicans despise Hillary and all that she stands for. I want a President who can unite the country, not further divide it. - brad3378, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2So basically you're saying that you would vote for a candidate with the same platform as Obama?
That's refreshing because I was beginning to think that emotions mattered more than policies in this election.- ravenswing2, on 05/10/2008, -1/+1I have not really decided who will get my vote in November, but I don't think I could bring myself to vote for Hillary under any circumstances. I read her as a soleless bitch without an ounce of decency in her entire body. I simply don't want another Clinton dragging this country down into the muck. I think I would be willing to take my chances with McCain.
- brad3378, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1As I suspected - you're not voting for the platform - you're voting for the personality.
I'm disappointed.
- brad3378, on 05/11/2008, -0/+1As I suspected - you're not voting for the platform - you're voting for the personality.

I think I would be willing to take my chances with McCain.
- lhbaker, on 05/09/2008, -6/+28Voting for Hillary seems like pretty much the same thing as voting for McCain, so these threats are meaningless.
- maliath, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Really? The policies outlined by Clinton are just like those outlined by McCain?
- dcmjzero, on 05/09/2008, -1/+3on the subject of iran, gax tax holidays, etc ...
- br0ck, on 05/09/2008, -2/+5Both voted to allow cluster bombing civilians using >10% failure rate cluster bombs.
Both voted for the Iraq war.
Both voted to declare that Iran's core military are terrorists seen as a first step to starting a war with Iran.
Hillary would obliterate Iran, McCain would bomb, bomb Iran.
Both target the same demographics.
Both voted for the Patriot Act.
Both are beholden to corporate lobbyists.
Both voted to continue the embargo against Cuba.
Both want to have a gas tax vacation.
- Enasni1212, on 05/09/2008, -2/+13Really? I love the polarization effect of large groups of people agreeing about something. I would never vote for Hillary over Obama, but I would take Hillary any day of the week over McCain. At least she supports some form of universal health care, if nothing else.
I know it's cool to bash the less popular options, but the difference between Hillary and McCain is like the difference between a kick in the shin and a kick in the balls.- eir574, on 05/09/2008, -2/+3"I love the polarization effect of large groups of people agreeing about something. "
You know what's even more amusing? When one of those large groups think they're the exception to that polarization effect and that the other large groups are the ones causing all of the problems. - brad3378, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2Read the Book "Propaganda" by Edward Bernays and watch the youtube video based on it on titled "Century of the Self".
Is describes how easily the minds of the masses can be influenced with simple propaganda 101 techniques.
If there were ever a sequel to the video it would likely include the strategies used by the MSM in this election such as discussing the Rev. Wright scandal rather than the policy differences between Hillary and Obama. The key to propaganda is to tap into emotions of the audience.
- eir574, on 05/09/2008, -2/+3"I love the polarization effect of large groups of people agreeing about something. "
- zepher5150, on 05/09/2008, -1/+6No no no...please what ever you do do NOT for vote for mccain...As bad and dishonest as Hillary is...She is still much better then BUSH 3 more of the Same McClain....The Democratic party still the answer for change for our country....Thankfully, Obama is going to be the Democratic nominiee.
Obama 08- themightyjobu, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1I'm even more worried about who McCain picks for vice...even if physical health doesn't strike him down, his PTSD may allow him to be declared incompetent at a strategic time.
- TheWorm, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3You're an idiot if you really believe that Hilary is anything like McCain considering most of her policies are the same as Obama's. But oh wait, it's cool to demonize Hilary.
- brad3378, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Hillary have more in common with Obama than McCain?
- lhbaker, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2Hillary is an easy target who has largely been left alone so that she can damage Obama as much as possible. McCain can beat Clinton, he's just isn't running against her yet. The press has been gentle, relatively speaking. But if she gets the nomination, the pundits will bury her, and McCain will win. So yeah, a vote for Hillary is the same thing as a vote for McCain: In both cases, McCain wins.
- maliath, on 05/09/2008, -1/+2Really? The policies outlined by Clinton are just like those outlined by McCain?
- abburdlen, on 05/09/2008, -2/+23So when the day comes and Hillary does bow out and endorses Obama (probably before the month is out) will these people turn on her as well?
- wendelgee2, on 05/09/2008, -1/+3She won't.
- zepher5150, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Freaking Hillary...If she wanted what is best for this country -she would realize it's time for her to start to back Obama and the democratic party.
- cmize, on 05/09/2008, -2/+40How far the Clintons have fallen. This is just sad.
- julia07, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8Pathetic!
- CicurateGroup, on 05/09/2008, -3/+16Typical Clinton strong-arm tactics. These people are not trying to win a Presidency but a dictatorship. They gotta go!!!!
- bondjpf, on 05/09/2008, -2/+23After this I think there's no excuses for superdelegates not supporting Obama...
- mage1129, on 05/09/2008, -2/+22I fail to see how someone can choose McCain over Obama, if Hillary was not around. Are these people Democrats only if they get their way, otherwise they are going to vote against their own beliefs and in favor of a party they have complained about for eight years? If anyone can ruin the Democrats' chance at the white house it is the democrats.
- Enasni1212, on 05/09/2008, -0/+11I absolutely agree. Look at Clinton's and Obama's policies. Now look at McCain's. As a Democrat, can you really say that you'd pick McCain over Hillary?
Say you have three choices: a pack of M&Ms, a pack of Skittles, and a thumbtack. You REALLY want those M&Ms, but they get snatched away from you at the last second. Are you now going to eat the thumbtack over the Skittles just because you can't have the M&Ms? - dcmjzero, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Democrats are great at shooting themselves in the foot. Just look at the last election. Kerry? Really? That was the best they could do?
- corneliusJones, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Democrats, losing at all costs.
- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Ultimately they will vote for Obama. What we are seeing now is sheer desperation, as they realize they can't win the democratic way so maybe if they use threats and coercion they can win that way. When Hillary bows out they will bitch about it for a few months and then be just as avid supporters of Obama as they are for Hillary. If they were really as supportive of Hillary as they claim, they would not so easily be promising to vote for someone who is the complete opposite of her, her opponent. That just goes to show that their support wavers like the wind.
- Enasni1212, on 05/09/2008, -0/+11I absolutely agree. Look at Clinton's and Obama's policies. Now look at McCain's. As a Democrat, can you really say that you'd pick McCain over Hillary?

- jsmith39, on 05/09/2008, -1/+11Yeah... that's it. Our disapproval of sending threatening and pompous notes to superdelegates is because we're secretly fascist. - meth006, on 05/09/2008, -1/+8I don't think you understand the issue. The problem is not with first amendment rights, but with the consequence of their actions. These emails will divide the Dems and keep you in the same crap you've been in for 7+ years....

- Aslan72, on 05/09/2008, -5/+1@reuscel - we do it for the lulz
- ender7074, on 05/09/2008, -3/+1Thats how they roll.
- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1They aren't expressing their "views and opinions", they are throwing out threats and attempting to use coercion to win their nominee since they can't do it the 'ole democratic way. There is a keen difference.
- wynja, on 05/09/2008, -0/+11OMFG, the best one I say was "It's a sales job that's been done by the old power guards... " So what the ***** is Hillary if she's not old power???????
- Hangly, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4Bitchy scratchy power. Rowwwr.
- MrQuoz, on 05/09/2008, -0/+9Anyone who would rather jeopardize the democratic party over their own selfish ambitions shouldn't even be a contender.
- t0x2c, on 05/09/2008, -4/+2Um, reading the articles linked to from this article, and reading the articles linked to from those articles, nothing is credible here. Evidence that McCain denies that he said something even though he said it earlier entails showing him deny it. "Sources" showing Clinton changing her opinion only show solid follow through of her opinions. I support Obama's policies over both Clinton's and McCain's, but this article is just a poorly cited "he said she said".
- Sidzilla, on 05/09/2008, -3/+6I predicted a while back that Hillary would stay in the running until the convention and try to steal the nomination by swaying the superdelegates to her side, and if she failed at that she would run as an independent candidate. She wants the white house so badly that I believe she would lie, cheat, steal, or kill to obtain it. Are you SURE she's not a republican?
- Hangly, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1She's a republican. Both Clintons are republicans.
Does she have money for an independent run? - KimKop50, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0 I was chastized earlier in the year for categorizing her as a Republican! But she's proved it again and again! You are so right. I mean left...(-sorry) and she will definitely cheat, just like Bush did, to be the President. If she becomes President, I will seriously move out of the Americas. Because she will continue the quest to conquer and own Canada and Mexico also. Oh this all must be a bad dream! We MUST elect the best candidate! (OBAMA!!!)
- themightyjobu, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1She's a People's Republican; same as McCain, Bush and the rest of the neocons.
- Hangly, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1She's a republican. Both Clintons are republicans.
- reuscel, on 05/09/2008, -2/+13For me, it would be hard to hold my nose and vote for Hillary if the nomination is handed to her illegitemately. Now, if she legtimately steamrolls Obama in the remaining contests (I think she would have to win by a margin of 99-1 for this to happen), she has my vote. But I will not abide 4 more years of shady, underhanded politics by voting for her if she gets the nomination despite a deficit in delegates, states won, and popular vote totals.
- PamalaLauren, on 05/09/2008, -1/+6I think people are free to write whatever letters they want, but I think this is the exact reason the Obama campaign asked people to not write letters to super-delegates. First off they have no control over how stupid people make themselves out to be (threats and what not) and then the more you ***** someone off, the more likely they're to do something you don't want them to do. So by asking people to not email or write, they hoped to not have to deal with this. I wouldn't be surprised if these were angry Clinton supporters writing as well as Reps. that are just trying to cause problems or have fun.
What needs to be stressed is when writing any politician or anyone influential you don't be an ass. You need to present a professional explanation of what you want, it gets it noticed.- KimKop50, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0 Check your grammar.
- ender7074, on 05/09/2008, -11/+4Anything in the Huffington Post is more than likely *****. But its ok. Shes an Obama supporter so she can spread whatever ***** she wants.
- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Arianna Huffington doesn't write a majority of the posts on that site...
- ender7074, on 05/14/2008, -0/+0Yet she approves of all of it. It doesnt matter if she writes it or not. Its on her site. She is nothing but a hyper liberal and will post anything that elevates herself and her chosen candidate.
- KimKop50, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0 You obviously either don't read much of the Huffington post, or you wrote to a Super Delegate on Billary's behalf yourself!
- ender7074, on 05/14/2008, -0/+0No I dont support any of the idiots we have running for president and I sure as hell dont support Hillary.
- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+1Arianna Huffington doesn't write a majority of the posts on that site...
- thinkfuture, on 05/09/2008, -14/+3OMFG, can HUFFPOST be ANY more of an Obama supporter? They are the worst excuse for journalism I've EVER seen on the net.
- RebeL5K, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3The Huffington Post is a blog. Blogs are allowed to have opinions. That withstanding, the facts don't become biased simply because they don't shed your candidate in a positive light. The fact is, her supporters decided to write a ***** of angry emails to superdelegates and it is being reported on. How is that being an Obama supporter? If you don't think it's true, just visit the blog on hillaryclinton.com or hillaryis44.org.
- Hangly, on 05/09/2008, -9/+6Dear Hillary Clinton,
Thank you and your supporters for virtually guaranteeing there will not be a woman president in our lifetime.
You demonstrated that women are unfit to be in public office better than we ever could. Seriously, thank YOU.
Four more years of penis power baby!
Sincerely,
The Chauvinist Boys' Club- Hangly, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1/sarcasm
- monkeyrun, on 05/09/2008, -11/+2And Obama bots keep feeding huffingtonpost articles on digg.
- badfrog, on 05/09/2008, -4/+2Hey, at least we made it almost all day without one on the front page. Much better than the 5+ per day recently. It's some progress. Just keep burying as spam!
- LeCollectif, on 05/09/2008, -0/+2What a bunch of tossers.
- mattbeetee, on 05/09/2008, -0/+12What is this 'Clinton'? It doesn't seem to be very popular.
- Noiremorte, on 05/09/2008, -0/+8What a surprise. A psychotic Presidential candidate has psychotic supporters!
- MattInChicago, on 05/09/2008, -13/+1Obama fanboys digging up again! I won't vote for this guy just because of these wackos that support him something must be wrong here.
- MattInChicago, on 05/09/2008, -13/+2Obama fanboys digging up again! I won't vote for this guy just because of these wackos that support him something must be wrong here.
- jimbo92107, on 05/09/2008, -1/+4Mass emailings by Republican concern trolls are hardly convincing. If you think Rod Parsley, McCain's "moral compass, spiritual guide" (his own words) is more sane than Jeremiah Wright, then go ahead and vote for war and national bankruptcy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXZbIGJrDkg&eurl=ht ...
Same goes for Hagee and the other religious nuts whose endorsements McCain eagerly sought. If you want a president that listens to violent Christianists, then John McCain is your angry, crooked, racist, paleo-conservative president.
Just do us all one favor: When you join the Republicans, don't come back. Remain in their company and marinade in their moral and philosophical sewer. - BeforeSputnik, on 05/09/2008, -6/+1Was anyone else unsure what this Headline meant? Was it that Obama sent attack emails out, and they were forwarded to the super-delegates? Or was it that Hillary Supporters sent emails attacking Obama to the super-delegates? or did they send them to the incredibles?
A little more clarity in Headlines, please.- standxstrongx, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3You're not serious, right?
- fxu1989, on 05/09/2008, -0/+4"a Texas Democrat who threatened to vote for McCain should Obama be the nominee."
Alright wait ... Clinton has said Obama and her stand the same in some things ......... but that idiot would vote for McCain who is pretty much the opposite, rather than voting for Obama if he were to win ? ...
***** it up for all of us, idiot. - Burrito, on 05/09/2008, -0/+7Her supporters sound just as vindictive as Hillary does. *Big Round of Applause* to Obama supporters for sparing us 4 more years of her crap.
- nessus359, on 05/09/2008, -0/+3Last time I checked, a person could vote for any candidate they wished, for whatever reason the wished. Obama is not a saint, he is not a God, his sure isn't perfect; What he is, is a politician, and should be treated like any other. He will say what he needs to, in order to get elected. Now, once everyone takes that into account, let's hear what he really has to say about just how he is going to solve all the problems he keeps telling us we have. It's put-up or shut-up time;
I am a big Digg fan myself, but it I am staying away more and more due to the huge lack of intelligent comments (not that I am claiming this in one). But seriously, do you want someone to elect your president who's best comment is "Bros before Hoes"?
How about really changing the political scheme, ask intelligent, hard, pointed questions. Get answers on issues that are important to you. It has been said before, but I will say it again, we seem to have really lost the ability to communicate and debate beyond name calling and flowery language.
For what is is worth, I support Obama, and I listen to what Hillary has to say - I don't have to make up my mind until I step into the voting booth.- runCMD, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2here, here! Indenpendent thinker!
- username484767, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1What an annoying *****.
- nessus359, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0Oh really smart comment, says so much, so insightful. Your grasp of language and communication skills are top tier. Reading such wonderful comments allows me to sleep well at night knowing a person of such high caliber gets to help pick our next president.
- calipan, on 05/09/2008, -1/+1In all honest this is just a last act of despairation of a bunch of people who are seeing the horse they bet on lose. So they lash out in any way they can. This includes threats that they would vote for McCain. I think emotions have clouded their judgement and once they calm down a bit and McCain opens his mouth about his policies and what not, Im sure they will realize the stupidity of making that vote. When push come sot shove they probably won't vote McCain
- runCMD, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3Tell me how these are any different than the vitriol you guys have been spewing over the duration of the campaign ? When it's wrong it's wrong. Regardless of which side it comes from.
- freshgrease, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1It's about time for her to get on her knees and start sucking.
- Gemfinder, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1To NO avail whatsoever.
- DoctorZaius, on 05/10/2008, -0/+1Mr. Stein left out the most important part of Donna Braziles reply to the Hillary Supporter. Here is the full e-mail un-edited;

Honestly, this is the 9th email today, so I believe you're ready to not only
destroy Roe versus Wade, voting rights, civil liberties and civil rights.
Perhaps adding trillions more to the deficits through non stop tax cuts to
the wealthy and 100 more years in Iraq.
Yes, please join Rush and McCain asap. The train has left. Catch it.
Please don't send these emails to working people like myself. Notice you
sent it to my campus address. I am a working class person. Can you find
someone who drinks latte?
Message to the base: stay home.
