The only problem is that our elected officials (a majority anyway) don't even bring that to the table, so it may seem like he/she can't be fired, but believe me, they can. We as the people need to push for that, by writing to our representatives and senators. It is the only way to affect change, other than by voting. I firmly believe that most people in this once great country have been deluded into thinking that we have no say in what our government does, but it is (still) a republic of the people. So don't just accept what is going on, or just complain about it; do something!
