Clinton May Not Return to Senate
eyesonobama.com — With the end of the race for the Democratic nomination, it's not just decision time for Barack Obama, but also for Hillary Clinton. And with the way things have turned out, it's possible she may opt to retire instead of returning to the Senate.

- Drahkar, on 05/18/2008, -0/+14If only we could see that happen. *dreamy eyed look*
- rebrad, on 05/18/2008, -6/+1I don't know about provable crimes but I do think she should retire. She needs to dedicate herself to winning in 2012 now that the media has picked their candidates for this go round. She must not let diversions like the Senate get in her way and she needs to keep her political machinery maintained and running. It's never too early for 2012.
- ichbeineinrcg, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3She won't be any less unelectable in 2012 than she is now, and if she quits the Senate and goes crying home to Bill after not getting her way, it would be even tougher.
Her 2012 run would look like Dan Quayle's aborted 1996 campaign. - Zyphron, on 05/18/2008, -2/+1Do you hear how pompous you Sound? If I was you it would be painful listening to myself.

- heliox, on 05/18/2008, -4/+7Crimes...really? Like what?
- jstohler, on 05/18/2008, -12/+7Not me. I hope she stays there and is an active part of the anti-GOP contingent that will unravel the damage done by 8 years of BushCo. If she retires, the GOP has an open shot at the seat. Nothing she's done in this primary can't be undone if she just stays in office and plays for the team.
- Drahkar, on 05/18/2008, -3/+8Its not possible for her to unravel the damage that Bush and his crew have done because she is on his side and agrees with most of the things he has done. The only time she doesn't agree with it is when she's campaigning for the presidency. Then all of a sudden she was against the war and doesn't agree with how things are being handled. Oh and she didn't have anything to do with NAFTA either.
- haiduz, on 05/18/2008, -3/+4If you think that bush and clinton agree on most things then you are very much misguided
- Drahkar, on 05/18/2008, -3/+1I love people who use the wrong words to try and convey a point. Its like Kevin James trying to use a talking point reference from World War II where he didn't even know what the people in question even did to cause the situation.
My having a differing opinion than you even if it does end up being inaccurate does not make me 'misguided'. It would in fact just make me wrong the specific topic. Misguided, while meaning 'mistaken' in the functional sense, is an adjective and generally reserved in use for describing an action and not a state of being. For example 'It was a misguided attempt.' or 'The Doctor had the best intentions at heart, but was misguided in how they applied it'.

- jabberwolf, on 05/18/2008, -6/+1Finally a story with some actual fact, and not just liberal dumb assed opinion with a blog from a no name and an Obama store.
(Look at article again - oh well that's Digg! )- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Don't get your hopes up.
I suspect that she wants to ruin Obama's chances of winning the general election, then stay active in politics until 2012, where she believes she can win.
Of course, if she's smart, she'd support Obama with all her made up sincerity, otherwise her chances of winning in 2012 will be even less than her chances were this time around.
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Don't get your hopes up.
- cowsgonemadd3, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1YAY
- MarioWhereRu, on 05/18/2008, -5/+0I would prefer if she would get on her knees and be shot in the back of the head but retirement is good enough.
- doktaru, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1It's not over until the fat lady sings.
- jbenson2, on 05/18/2008, -2/+3Perhaps she will opt for McCain's VP.
- darkciti2, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3We need to make sure that Democrats hold on to her Senate seat after she leaves.
This year, the Republicans are attacking the Democratic Congress because they know they will lose the White House.
If you want to see Bush/Cheney Oil Co convicted of war crimes, ensure that Democrats take both the Congress AND the Presidency in November.- nobelief, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3you're a fool if you think only republicans profited from the war
- diggingaround, on 05/18/2008, -0/+4I was all games for her ... Senate was just a stepping stone... nothing more noting less... since she couldn't make a jump to the white house she is showing her true colors now. She just doesn't care about the rest of us to serve the public office.
- flink405, on 05/18/2008, -2/+1Hillary will be back in 2012 to go against a second term of McCain.
She has to keep her Senate seat until then. - Rivsys, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Assuming by she doesn't win the nomination by bringing down Obama with a last minute scandal, Hillary intends on running in 2012. Why else would she still be in the race?
- dracostimpy, on 05/18/2008, -16/+13I would personally prefer a lengthy prison term for myriad crimes, but at this point I suppose I'll settle for her retirement.
- BishkekBuddy, on 05/18/2008, -14/+84From the way she has behaved during this primary, I can't conceive of her giving up anything political... but I still have hope!
- jemman, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3She might get a supreme court nomination.
- Kyan, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2You have go to be kidding. For what? Serving as a lawyer while on the Walmart board? I'd like to think the US supreme court can find someone better than a Clinton.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3Tuck Tail and run.
I think we are going to hear a lot of over zealous reports and predictions until the Obama vs. McCain race gets into full swing and people lose interest in Hillary Clinton.
I mean she's very good at being a senator and would be a much better President than George Bush (she has the capacity to weigh consequences of decisions and doesn't try to divorce responsibility from authority).
But she has a flaw, Pride. She thought she was going to win. Then she tried some cheap attacks against Obama, and it backfired she didn't get the quick win she hoped for.
Make no mistake in November she will be voting for Barack Obama.
- jemman, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3She might get a supreme court nomination.
- redcolumbine, on 05/18/2008, -36/+29If she even has the CHANCE to return to the Senate after what she's done to the Democratic party, the democratic process, and the United States of America, the system truly is broken.
- cquinnd, on 05/18/2008, -4/+12She is still a standing Senator. It says a lot worse about our system if she was not able to return to at least serve out her term and have the possibility to run for that seat again (or be defeated in a future senate race).
- PopcornDave, on 05/18/2008, -2/+12No it says a lot about a system where someone can get paid for a job they essentially abandon during a campaign. Any politician running for any new office should be forced to resign to run instead of having such a safe and cushy fall back.
- heliox, on 05/18/2008, -2/+4*****-A !! I never understood that.
- soogy, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5I should remind you that Senators have no vacation days. In addition to this, Senators do little IN office. They also don't bother going to a lot events, except for key votes and such. In fact, a Senator's staff handles the bulk of the work. So, even when they drop out to be a potential Presidential candidate, they aren't missing much.
Now, if a Senator were forced to fully resign just to consider running for their party's ticket, the LARGE majority of politicians would be out of a job within weeks. Look at how many people filed with the FEC, and then look at how many are still running. All of those people would not be able to return to their elected positions despite only having been away for a few weeks, or a couple of months.
With that said, I think Senators are overpaid and they should not be allowed to vote for their wages. - qwertydvorak, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3Term Limits. serve your country and leave.
- heliox, on 05/18/2008, -2/+4*****-A !! I never understood that.
- PopcornDave, on 05/18/2008, -2/+12No it says a lot about a system where someone can get paid for a job they essentially abandon during a campaign. Any politician running for any new office should be forced to resign to run instead of having such a safe and cushy fall back.
- taradisiac, on 05/18/2008, -1/+10You have no idea what you're saying.
- freehunter, on 05/18/2008, -0/+14Honestly, I'm not a clinton fan, but what has she done to the democratic process or to our system? She's doing exactly what the system was designed to allow her to do, to run for president as long as she is still getting votes. Sure, she's not going to win, but as long as she wants to run, she should be able to.
- jbenson2, on 05/18/2008, -3/+3She is not the culprit. She just used the primary rules. The real culprit is the Democratic Party.
The rules should never be set up to allow Super Delegates.
Each state should only allow Democrats to vote - no more of this Open Primary crap.
Each state should be an all or nothing state for the delegates.
These changes would speed up the entire process.- qwertydvorak, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3each state should vote all at once, or at the very least, it should be 15 at a time instead of dragging it out.
- RIOGoose, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1While I agree that "super" delegates can really just take the democracy right out of a democratic election, I'm fairly certain that pulling a Republican Party with Democratic primaries would do much the same thing. Sure, it might take a little less time, but but you're essentially saying that, even if the state goes 51/49, that those 49% of voters don't actually mean anything to the process. Indiana is a prime example. Sure, Clinton "won" the state, but by what, a percentage point or two? You honestly think that should be a "winner takes all" situation? That'd just be silly.
- unreg, on 05/18/2008, -2/+2I'm wondering. What will Obama do after the general election in November. Will he also resume his role in the Senate alongside his rival Hillary.
Maybe the can carve out a section with the other Democratic washups, "The Could Have Beens"- cquinnd, on 05/24/2008, -0/+1Does Bob Dole get into that club, or do the Republicans have their own section for that purpose?
- cquinnd, on 05/18/2008, -4/+12She is still a standing Senator. It says a lot worse about our system if she was not able to return to at least serve out her term and have the possibility to run for that seat again (or be defeated in a future senate race).

- kinneys, on 05/18/2008, -2/+15Please tell me you're joking.
- BishkekBuddy, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3Don't know if she's considering it but that's what the Party wanted to offer her to get her out of this race.... sad, isn't it!

She IS the Governor of New York, BishkekBuddy.
- AndrewDB, on 05/18/2008, -3/+21What a kick in the nuts it'd be to her to be denied the presidential nomination, then to be denied the governor spot in New York..
It'd serve her right.- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -2/+8You're talking about New York. She could actually win that post.
Once you get out past about an hour's drive from New York City, that place looks a lot like Pennsylvania. Lot's of old, working class WHITE people. I wouldn't even be surprised that if you took NYC and Westchester county out of the statistics, it might even have a population of few college educated people, close to West Virginia's 17%.- AndrewDB, on 05/18/2008, -0/+8Yes, she could conceivably win, I never said she couldn't..
I just said I'd love to see her get denied the spot. :] - PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -0/+4It definitely would be nice. Slap the smug right off her face.
- unreg, on 05/18/2008, -3/+3Your ignorance is showing.
- Greyscale88, on 05/18/2008, -4/+3Hey ***** you, I live in NYS outside of the City and it's got it's fair share of working class white people, but it's no West Virginia, so shut the hell up.
People to need to learn ***** before they say ***** here. - vagabond45, on 05/24/2008, -0/+1Yes, we have educated people here!!!!! It may look rural but this is no West Virginia (I know what I am talking about, I lived there BRIEFLY, too)
- AndrewDB, on 05/18/2008, -0/+8Yes, she could conceivably win, I never said she couldn't..

- lotsa1s, on 05/18/2008, -0/+7I'll mourn for the poor souls of New York.
- weaselfingers, on 05/18/2008, -0/+4There's always School Board! :D
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -2/+3Oh, please. Don't let her near the school children. That's the last thing this country needs, her ruining the future.
- NyteStarNyne, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5God I hope not! I'll be moving if it's true.
This state has enough ***** to deal with as it is. - CaviMike, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5What?! That's it, I'm moving to Canada.
- darkciti2, on 05/18/2008, -0/+4From what I've heard from other New Yorkers, she's actually helped the state quite a bit since she's been in the Senate.
- mikephimikephi, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2I consider the Governor of New York (along with other influential states like Cali, Texas, Illinois, Florida, etc.) to be a far more significant and influential role than that of a U.S. Senator.
- vagabond45, on 05/24/2008, -0/+1Well, I wouldn't be surprised given the state of our last two governors!
- kinneys, on 05/18/2008, -2/+15Please tell me you're joking.

- chrissku, on 05/18/2008, -7/+78If she does run again in New York she'll be doing it minus the black vote.
- mateo, on 05/18/2008, -3/+0You just said 'black vote'. You must be racist!
- MindyB, on 05/18/2008, -7/+33I doubt she will give up her Senate seat, she has proven to be extremely greedy and power hungry, I can't see her not holding on to power to retire. She loves the taste of it ad will not give it up unless she is thrown off the seat by the voters.
- magicjohnson, on 05/18/2008, -9/+0She's probably too worn out to campaign all over again
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3She lives for that *****. It makes her feel superior to everyone else.
- GhostWithToast, on 05/18/2008, -21/+43This story is ridiculous. Clinton has millions of supporters, millions of people voted for her and she's still a respected politician. Just because Digg users other liberal media think she's horrible (which I agree with) doesn't reflect they way other people think about her. She didn't lose by some huge margin and she'll get behind Obama when the time comes. She'll remain in the senate with plans to run again later.
- czeman, on 05/18/2008, -15/+2I don't know. I think Obama is about to get behind HER and show her who's boss.
- yojiffyskippy, on 05/18/2008, -3/+9All true except for that "run again later" part.
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -4/+4She will not get behind Obama. She definitely has plans to run again, later. 2012, in fact.
- HiFi88, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1@OP
I Agree.
Divide and Conquer. Divide Democrats, Conquer in 2012 after the failed McBush term. - iamnobody8614, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Not supporting Obama would be political succide. She'd have to become an independent to run again in 2012, because most, if not all, Democrats in power would abandon her. The party cannot afford to have someone with that much power taking a "if I can't have it, no Democrat will" stance.
- PhilLesh69, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1You're right, but that doesn't mean that she is necessarily capable of swallowing her pride in order to do so.
Of course, she is a very sly politician, so maybe she can muster the strength to swallow her pride.
- PhilLesh69, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1You're right, but that doesn't mean that she is necessarily capable of swallowing her pride in order to do so.

- catwoman2970, on 05/18/2008, -1/+1No one knows what she's going to do until she announces it. Everyone should get off their pedestals as some expert as if they know for sure including you and the guy who wrote the article. Who cares anyway?
- catwoman2970, on 05/18/2008, -1/+1No one knows for sure until she announces it. Everyone should get off their pedestals as if they're some expert, including you and the writer of the article. Who cares anyway?
- dillibob, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1in reality obama will probably pick her as vice president, doesnt matter what differences they have now, when primaries come up obama and hilary will have a good shot against mccain
- jforjools, on 05/18/2008, -4/+56I''ve been an Obama supporter since Day 1.
But I really have to think that this is a daydream and not even close to a reality.
Yes, Hillary has stepped on some toes (and feet, legs, etc). But she has four years to serve in the senate before she's up for reelction in 2012...and four years to do damage control before she runs for senate again. If she ends up being a strong surrogate for Obama (over the summer and into the fall), that alone would be a strong start to repairing her image. But mostly, four years is a lot of time for her to do good work in the senate. To keep her senate seat, she need only tend to her constituency (New Yorkers)...and I think (from my place afar in MN) that this is doable for her.
There's other lofty political positions for her to aspire to (governor; future cabinet position--probably not this year though; and possibly a future presidential election.)
But let's be real: Being Senator of NY is pretty damn great....and being 1 in 100 senators doesn't make you a 'little' guy--it makes you one of an elite, esteemed, important, and small political group,
I'm very relieved HRC won't be the Dem nominee for president--but I'm also glad that she'll continue to be one of our democratic senators in the senate. (Having the 'numbers' in the senate and house wil play a hugely significant role in the success of the next administration.)- yojiffyskippy, on 05/18/2008, -10/+2Very true. As soon as she starts supporting Obama (and she will), the Dem party will go back to it's old liberal love fest. I seriously doubt there will be any cabinet positions during the next 8 years though. Why would McCain give her a position in his administration?
- thentro, on 05/18/2008, -0/+13I find it funny that digg comments are often more intelligent than the stories they are commenting on.

- fludgesickles, on 05/18/2008, -18/+15YES! She won't be the senator of my state anymore!

time to celebrate!- franklymister, on 05/18/2008, -1/+4We'd still have Schumer. He's as bad, or worse, than Hillary.

- SaintStryfe, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5As a upstater too (Hudson Valley) she isn't getting my vote again. She has tried her level best to ruin the progressive's chance at the white house.
- 666dorado, on 05/18/2008, -13/+41she never gave a crap about the people of NY. she only ran for senate to up her chances at the presidency. now that her chances for that have evaporated, what's the point of continuing?

Yeah, I should probably go back and study more about the presidential election. I bet it's at least 2 years until the next president can take over.
Anyway, I hope Obama does a great job and she does not win within the next 2 years or so. :)

Sourest. Grapes. Ever.- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3"Screw you guys... I'm going home."
- Myonosken, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2I thought you wanted her to concede defeat? But that's now sour grapes? Wtf.
- TremorX, on 05/18/2008, -1/+2It's one thing to concede defeat, but to pout about it (quit the senate too) comes off as whining.
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3"Screw you guys... I'm going home."
- Foot56, on 05/18/2008, -6/+17I would laugh if Obama refuses to pay off her campaign debt.

- sticko13, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3Well, at least it wasn't "BREAKING: CLINTON TO GIVE UP SENATORIAL SEAT!!!"
- qbthemc, on 05/18/2008, -10/+0My mommy told me Hillary *****-on is a racist is that true. Obama 08.
- Jibberwalk, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1You do more harm than good, you do realize that right?
- Consh, on 05/18/2008, -7/+14Way to take an opinionated article and take it as fact.
Digg is hilariously short sighted.- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -2/+3All articles are opinionated. Except the ones written by people you agree with.

- thentro, on 05/18/2008, -8/+9eyesonobama.com is an embarrassment.
- uptown, on 05/18/2008, -5/+3It's not like she's even needed to show up in order to collect my tax dollars for the past year or so .... I don't know why she'd quit now.
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2I know she won't quit now, but if she did, she could collect a pension for life just for serving more than 5 years in the senate. 80% of her current salary, for the rest of her life.
- uptown, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3cushy job if you can get it ....
- PhilLesh69, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Many used car salesmen and insurance agents have done it.

- XmenArt, on 05/18/2008, -3/+6Hillary giving up something? That'll be the day
- solisdaniel, on 05/18/2008, -12/+3Obama supporters have no shame, no decency. Here's a fact: Obama supporters need Clinton supporters to win in November, and half of us won't be there to help because of stories and comments like this.
- thestranger, on 05/18/2008, -3/+4are you saying Obama supporters are not appeasers?!?!
- poondoggle, on 05/18/2008, -3/+8I guess you'll show them daniel. Nice work unifying the party you petty twit.
- mrjah, on 05/18/2008, -7/+5That article is ridiculous.
Why would Hillary give up on the idea of running in 2012? What is she going to do instead for the next 4 years? Charity work? Hillary? Please. As long as there's a chance to get something for herself, she'll be there to take full advantage. I think we have learned that much.
But I am perfectly willing to believe that she never gave much thought to the idea of losing the Presidency - much less the nomination - and what it would mean for her future. - taradisiac, on 05/18/2008, -4/+12That'd be ***** stupid. Her political career is far from over.
- Wartyboskfapped, on 05/18/2008, -3/+6This article is nothing but wishful thinking.
- amirmans, on 05/18/2008, -9/+9What has she done to you guys?
- plumcarrot, on 05/18/2008, -1/+1yeah, really
- terminalV3, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2She broke my Nintendo, didn't say she was sorry.
- amirmans, on 05/26/2008, -0/+0I cannot vote. If I could, I would vote for Obama. However, I like her health care plan better and more importantly, with her we can get Bill back (at least partially). I think Bill was one of the best presidents ever. Obama, has a better foreign policy and more importantly he loves Nintendo and will implement laws to protect them.
- theDrizzle, on 05/18/2008, -6/+1...and we lived happily ever after.
- klick37, on 05/18/2008, -2/+11I always get my Clinton information from eyesonobama.com
- dddavid, on 05/18/2008, -6/+5I like the quote:
"Clinton, who spent eight years next to her husband while he held the office, was close enough to close her eyes and feel the heavy oak of the desk in the oval office."
My response:
Yes, and Monica Lewinsky got to feel the heavy oak of the desk in the oval office too!- darkciti2, on 05/18/2008, -3/+1Yes, but the 4,500 troops that have lost their lives (and their families) have touched the heavy Oak of their coffins as they were buried.
Please don't be a Bush/Cheney sympathizer. His lies have cost our country more than Bill Clinton's ever did.- Myonosken, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Yeah kill that joke. Bastard.
- darkciti2, on 05/18/2008, -3/+1Yes, but the 4,500 troops that have lost their lives (and their families) have touched the heavy Oak of their coffins as they were buried.
- opensourcer, on 05/18/2008, -7/+4New Yorkers got used. Like all the things Hillary does, she have a questionable second agenda, a second motive. I don't want to Spitzerize her actions, but she's not being a good team player. It's all me first and gimme gimme with her. Everything is have to be her way. How is it better to be the captain of the team when you team lose? This team is beyond democrats. It's America. Just be a supportive role player. Just please retire, settle down, and get a midday talk show deal ala Rachel Ray.
- dddavid, on 05/18/2008, -6/+2I'd rather she run for senate again and lose. I would hope the Democrats would run a strong candidate against her after seeing how she has been willing to damage the party. I would also hope that everyone in NY would remember the depths to which she was willing to sink in this primary process.
- Groovydoo, on 05/18/2008, -4/+1That would be so pathetic and yet it would validate any and all accusations her critics have made regarding her power mad personality.
- cambob76, on 05/18/2008, -5/+5How could she go back? After exposing the worst bits of her character and showing that she only cares for her own interests.
- plumcarrot, on 05/18/2008, -2/+2wtf are you even talking about.
- Genesii, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2Her chances of re-election to public office are slim to none now that she's revealed she's actually a politician.
- richardpryor, on 05/18/2008, -10/+6That's a shame because Hillary Clinton was probably one of the greatest senators New York ever had. She was a true goddess on the foreign relations counsel and it will be sad to lose her.
Hillary '08- darkciti2, on 05/18/2008, -2/+2I don't know about Goddess, but she was a valuable member of the New York Senate. Fortunately, we have until 2012 to replace her seat with another suitable Democrat (or Libertarian).
I think the Republicans are dying off like the Whigs of 'ole. I'm not sure they'll be a force in Earth politics in the decades to come.
There have been a lot of political parties in the US in our relatively young 232+ year history.
The Republicans and their Military Industrial War Machine will likely die off along with the Baby Boomers.
We can only hope that rational thought, dialogue, and larger human goals will keep humans progressing into the centuries to come. Human unification (of all races, credentials and backgrounds) is the only way we can succeed as a species. We've already begun the difficult step of "globalization". Next, we will focus on the intergalactic future of mankind. - GoneGreen, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Goddess, are you f%^&ing nuts?
- darkciti2, on 05/18/2008, -2/+2I don't know about Goddess, but she was a valuable member of the New York Senate. Fortunately, we have until 2012 to replace her seat with another suitable Democrat (or Libertarian).
- dmark77, on 05/18/2008, -3/+2This is nothing new. Many believed when she ran for Senate in New York it was just a stepping stone to the presidency.
The only reason she went to NY was because they had an open seat at the time. - slyzxx, on 05/18/2008, -4/+4She ***** up her own campaign, Obama has no need to pay her dumb ass debt that she got let bill take care of that. I swear i donated 5 bucks to obama if he pays her debt i`m voting McCain at least he`s a shyster
- seiga, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2I really really don't understand this line of reasoning. That is, when voters vow to switch candidates (in this case to McCain) because of something relatively ineffectual on the part of their original candidate of choice.
If you are willing to change candidates so whimsically then what the ***** were you basing your preference on in the first place? Do you realize how different the choice is between republicans and democrats in this election? If you give half a quirt of piss about the issues you should know enough to be clear on who you'll vote for.

- zaknick, on 05/18/2008, -5/+4hillary is just another conniving and manipulating politician...she knows perfectly well that obama represents our true democracy and that's why he won...she represents the old way of doing politics which is exactly what we need to get rid of....good riddance...next stop the rest of the thieves in Washington
- TSCheredar, on 05/18/2008, -2/+3I'm seriously questioning the validity of this source. Who is this and why do I care about their opinion. Also, no digg because of the sensational headline.
