Every time someone the Clintons feels owes them backs Obama, they get called names (remember "Judas?" http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/03/ca ... they get threatened (House speaker, Pelosi: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/03/27/cl ... and Congressman Chandler http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/4/30/10574/4557 ... Who do the Clintons think they are? Political mafia of some sort? Get over yourselves!
- itzdiceman, on 05/01/2008, -9/+5He should be slammed.
Another person who got to where they are today because of the Clintons and then later jumps ship to get on the good side of the next president. Just like Richardson, these guys brown nose their way to the top.- Semirhage527, on 05/01/2008, -3/+4Just because Bill helped their career, doesn't mean they owe loyalty to his wife - it doesn't work that way. Should Bill Clinton be loyal to Mary Matalin just cause she's Carville's wife? Superdelegates have a moral obligation to do what is best for their party, not what is best for the Clintons. Good for Andrews for having the guts to stand up to them, knowing how he'd be treated as a result.
Not to mention that many of these people already showed loyalty by standing by Bill when he was under impeachment, they shouldn't have to do his bidding for the rest of their lives because he helped them once.- itzdiceman, on 05/02/2008, -1/+2He is un-greatful for the opportunity that Bill gave him. And it does work that way, meaning he should support Hillary. Thats exactly the way things work. It's called, family.
And my main point is that he's trying to suck up to Obama. He's just another guy who wants to be VP. He even said it this morning on NPR, Obama should choose a Clinton supporter as a running mate. It doesn't get more obvious, Andrews is clawing his way to the top.

Intimidation is a weak attack when the defense is money in a candidate's election fund. - Qong, on 05/01/2008, -6/+2Some of us care about and value loyalty.
itzdiceman in a comment above hit the nail on the head: These people are playing politics, because that's what they are, politicians. They aren't loyal to anyone, even their own friends. How can we expect them to be loyal to the American people? Obama is in the same camp.- thirdcoastborn, on 05/01/2008, -3/+0you're a ***** idiot
- Qong, on 05/02/2008, -1/+2Great argument there, champ. You represent your candidate well...
- neognostic, on 05/02/2008, -1/+3And you represent your candidate well, to continue to support a habitual liar because her husband helped you out is mindless and hinges on delusion.

- hillary4change, on 05/01/2008, -3/+2No loyalty is wright!! He dumped wright as soon as it made him look bad. Before that it was just fine.
He has no loyalty for the people either. HE HAS LOYALTY TO GETTING THE HIGHEST OFFICE!!
Hillary '08- svtspeed, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1No loyalty huh? He only denounced right after DAYS AND DAYS of non stop media hammering on the subject - had the media left the story alone when it was OLD news, he would not have had to denounce Wright. On the other hand when it comes to Hilliary and loyalty, i think this quote from her sums it up quiet nicely "Rich people, God bless us." ***** Hilldog 08 - Obama FTW.
- KiminCA, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1You know, I heard if you aren't with us, you are against us somewhere before -- oh yes, it was President Bush. And once upon a time, our Country had a President who kept an enemies' list, who was it again? Oh yes, it was President Richard Nixon. Senator Clinton's enemies' list just keeps growing longer and longer. I wonder when someone is going to tell her that you cannot start such a list until you are President -- and then someone needs to tell her, that this sort of list really is not recommended in a Republic like ours.
