- Gandalff, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I am in much pain also but have to agree 110% with the article. If I have to hear one more old media personality talk about the feelings going up or down their legs or any other part of their anatomy I will puke. It is outrageous and makes them not only sound silly but look ridiculous as well. They don't even catch him when he is lying during his speeches anymore.
For instance while over in the middle east he claims he is going to rein in Iran with the new banking rules and he touted "that's my committee", Obama somewhere said that he is on the Senate Banking Committee. He isn't on the Senate Banking Committee or subcommittee and this isn't the first time he has laid claim to someone else's bill either. He has done the very same thing for the Veterans Bill that he claims he co-sponsored and pushed through legislation. He was not even in the Senate when the bill was announced, proposed, debated and voted on. Yet he is running ads claiming responsibility for it's passing and his leadership for making it happen. Truth be told all he has ever done is run for higher office even when he was in office, starting in his home town and state. Just look at his records to verify the facts. He has not stayed long at any position at any company, just look at his past. We the people are interviewing the candidates for the job not just listening to them give a good speech. Look beyond the words at the core convictions on whether or not he can make a tough stand on an issue and vote yea or nae up or down and not just present to show you he was there. Where is the conviction of his mind or his politics why will he not have open dialog with the people instead of controlled speeches and a surrogate choosing whom will ask the right questions at the right time?
