He gave an interview to the Toledo Blade on October 5 as if his opinions of the race for the White House are somehow more important than the news of the candidates.

Otherwise they (the media) wouldn't have enough time in a day to investigate Palin. This is lunacy. The media is so eager to cover for Obama that they have no idea that should Obama get elected, that under an Obama dictatorship, the media will be 'compelled' to cover Obama and his administration in noting less than a favorable light, or risk being taken out back to be shot. In supporting Obama, the media will ultimately be the cause of the trashing of the 1st amendment the media so cherishes and hides behind. Talk of shooting oneself in the foot. Sheer idiocy.

Over 70% of the public agreed that she won the debate. I guess that makes Biden a totally clueless moron, right? As to the embarrassment to America, most of us find Obama and his worshipers to be exactly that. He has gotten this huge following because he can read a teleprompter and because he is black. His programs are more Marxist than American -- centralized control of credit by the government, government planning and tight controls on capitalism, redistribution of income from the achievers to the non-achievers, and attempts to control the press. This is what you want for America? You can already get it in Venezuela with Hugo Chavez, Cuba, Russia or China.

The article as well as some of the comments expose the inclination of Liberals to be nasty and grasp at anything to discredit the opposition. I'm no fan of McCain or Palin either, but I see no reason to attack them or anyone remotely related to them on personal issues or with profanity.
    Both sides need to stop carping about insignificant details of personality and start addressing the jobs they want to take on. I am well aware of Obama's platform as I have read the Blueprint for Socialism in its entirety. McCain lost any support I may have given him when he pushed McCain Feingold through Congress. They are both charlatans and power hungry despots. Their methods and doctrine may vary, but the results will be the same.
    There is a true change of perspective building in this country, and it's about time. People are waking up. Thank you Bob Barr for spreading the word of Liberty.

It is foolish to have a squad of liberals pretending to be neutral while interviewing conservative candidates. I for one am sick of the charade and want something done about it. I want Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Michael Medved and others to be called upon to moderate debates during the next election cycle. And I want Democrat candidates to be required to sit down for interviews with the aforementioned conservatives. I'm not joking either. This needs to happen. Way past time. There is no one doing truly probing interviews of Democrat candidates for national office, asking them the tough questions on the minds of the electorate, and challenging their answers.

        So, it's not that I really want to "win" that way. It's that I really want Bush and everyone right down to the individual voter who helped put him there to lose.
