As someone that has grown up in a predominantly Republican state, I see young and old, white and non-white and Christian, all hoping for our country to take a different turn, something that we have been wanting for a very long time.

The energy of our country has diminished in the past 4-5 years, our moral is down.

I'm a proud white Christian American that would be proud to say, Obama is my President.
The bigotry and hate towards race has got to stop.

This is not the kind of country I want my future children to grow up into to.
