Can Hillary Still Win?
thinkyouth.org — "If the superdelegates do not honor the will of the popular vote, of all votes, including Florida and Michigan, it will be a morally unjust outcome. As Democrats, we have seen firsthand in 2000 what happens to the winner of the poplar vote when they lose due to a flawed election system. Don’t let it happen again."

- Krisgi, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3Rehash of ho-hum arguments made relentlessly by the Clinton camp in these primaries. Including old data, which fails to discern how much better Obama is doing against McCain NOW, as of yesterday, once Hillary has been, at least unofficially, eliminated from the race as a contender and the Nominee decided. Of course, it does not mention how Clinton´s nomination would send a huge part of the Obama base running for the hills politically forever, thus weakening the Party in the Generals and in the future.
She just degrades his candidacy but can´t strengthen her own.
With the stage all set and lit for a huge Democratic victory this year, my mother could even have a good shot at winning if she ran Blue. Yes, Hillary does better than Obama in certain states against McCain, but Obama will still win these himself come the Generals; in others, she would be the better pick (FL and OH), but Obama compensates this by bringing on states that can´t stand Hillary and love him.
He is the Nominee. The rest of the primaries are important only so that all voters get to have their say and their day. Thus far along, I think that we should trudge on for the next 3 weeks and conclude the formalities, announce Barack as the Candidate and pick an influential running mate. McCain has NO chance.- NameTry2468, on 05/13/2008, -1/+1It's pointless to argue with these people, but you get a thumbs up for the effort.
