    CA = California
    NY = Not Yours (or, alternatively, New York)
    GOP = God's Outraged Pretenders

    • EntropyMan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3How was the initiative making things more democratic? It's not a move towards a popular vote. It's a district by district winner-takes-all approach, which is subject to already badly gerrymandered districts. And it would guarantee the GOP more electoral college votes than it would otherwise get.
