Despite speaking confidently and clearly on several occasions about her "sniper fire" incident in Bosnia, which has since been prove to be an out right lie, her campaign today said she simply "misspoke".

She "detruthified", deceiver, fibber, perjurer, false witness, fabricator, equivocator; fabulist; informal storyteller.

She LIED she didn't Misspeak and I didn't have sex with that woman, thank god.

"I remember landing under sniper fire ... we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.”

I need to hear her say it too. This claim by a campaign member is NOT enough. She has to publicly APOLOGISE for lying to us.

It's one thing to 'misspeak' about your position (and overt support) for NAFTA in '93, but how the hell do you 'misspeak' about effing bullets whizzing over your head...and with your only kid by your side!?

Mis-speaking is not a sufficient explanation when the person has first-hand experience - and it's certainly no excuse for her total deliberate misrepresentation in the quest to convince voters she has the experience we need. If she was in any "normal" job interview and this came up she'd be shown the door.

When you use a story as the opener for a prepared speech, and you know that the tale has already been the subject of some jokes and raised eyebrows (eg the Sinbad remarks a couple of weeks back), then cranking up the drama factor by saying you had to run from the plane with your head down is foolish. Did nobody on her campaign do a quick fact check before she delivered the speech? Did she not think about it? When you're giving a prepared speech, you have time to think carefully about what you're going to say in advance. Why would you choose something that so easily can be proven false? This is not only Lying but also DUMB behavior.

"Misspeaking" concerning her accomplishments during her term as First (Yes, I had no Security Clearance) Lady, is the only way she can make her case for being more prepared for the Oval Office than Senator Obama. That's all this is, and we should expect more of it.

With the audio and video so far out of whack on the first video, I can't actually put 100% faith in those are the words being spoken. The second video doesn't have that problem, and the first one doesn't in the part before the interview, but once the interview starts, her words and mouth are so far out of whack, that they don't look like they're speaking the words you're hearing.

I didn't know LYING could be characterized as "misspeaking".

Merely a prevarication, a "slight exaggeration", a "senior moment".
Certainly, positively, absolutely not a "lie". I'm not sure she could tell a lie because it would require her to have at least a passing acquaintance with the truth. It may merely be a case of her being so engorged on power and so desperate to grasp more, that she has evolved beyond the need for such annoyances as "truth", "ethics", or "honor". There must be something to explain her level of political perfidy.
