youtube.com — CNN rightfully ridiculed Clinton's plagiarism attacks and showed that she herself lifted phrases from John Edwards' speeches.

It was a good spar about the plagiarism thing, but I think she took it over the top with that "xerox" thing and was penalized for it. She was in a tough position here to be fair. All the strategists were saying that she had to shred Obama by attacking his positions and pointing out the flaws. But if she did that, it would send her plummeting in the polls because of the respect everyone including she has for Obama. I think she did the best she could with the given situation. I respect both Clinton and Obama for maintaining dignity in politics even though they should have crucified each other. She actually went up in my opinion, but Obama is still my choice.

But its hard to label the use of words in a speech "plagiarism", even if they do happen to be written down before the speaker says them. Barack's "Just Words?" comments, or Hillary saying "Yes We Can"...that's not really plagiarism. Gov. Deval Patrick likely wasn't the first person to say or write that. Barack wasn't the first to say or write "Yes We Can".

I want an end to underhanded tactics to win an office, especially the presidential office. Being torn between the two, I heavily researched both Dem. Candidates, so I can honestly say that I know where both stand on the issues. So, my choice comes down to who can stand tall and not hurl petty insults.
