- wonderlandpr, on 05/16/2008, -1/+9Beside the pandering in Israel, using Hitler as a reference, especially in that country's sad history, we are reminded that Bush learned ZERO from his failed way of dealing with discord...aka shock, awe and 4,000 dead with no reason.
So, yes, let's consider not talking to enemies, and just keep using the Bush doctrine of
shoot first, ask questions later. We sure are witnessing how well that worked out.Ask the families of the dead and wounded how they feel about the Bush doctrine. Ask them how well it has worked for them.
And, of course when GW had negotiations with N. Korea and Syria, THAT was different than what Barack Obama has suggested. (only if we live in GW Bush's mind)
GW Bush is a delusional leader with no compassion for the death and destruction in the wake of his disingenuous and inconsistent reactive tactics.
See John McCain embracing Bush's whack attack on Obama. And John McCain says he separates himself from Bush. The only difference is in their ages, folks.- wonderlandpr, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Without a doubt there is one reason for the war in Iraq and two parts to that reason.
1. GW Bush has always wanted to be Dad's favorite by outshining GW's siblings. His passing his Dad in "finishing off" Iraq, was a way of showing off.
2. Also, the attack on Iraq to get Sadaam had more to do with vengeance against Sadaam who wanted the elder Bush dead, and little GW coming to dad's defense by offing Sadaam, using the war, the groundless war, as cover for the killing off of Sadaam
It is all about a messed up childhood, and the dry drunk condition that GW is living each day he acts out instead of recovers himself.
All in all, this policy had NADA to do with the American people or its security, but you already figured that out.

- Felix118, on 05/16/2008, -1/+11One of the questions i cant help asking is why did they go to Iraq to "look" for weapons of mass destruction that MIGHT be there, instead of going for North Korea who they KNOW have nuclear capabilities?? --- is the answer just because the wanted to protect oil intrests? or for Bush to finish what his daddy started?
- oldgal, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3From the non U.S. point of view, the one way to keep the U.S. from attacking is to have nukes - as exemplified by the cold war. Therefore, when Bush announced that Iraq, Iran, and North Korea were the evil axis, and subsequently invaded Iraq, Iran and North Korea stepped up their nuclear programs. One theory is that Saddam Hussein wanted the U.S. to believe that he had nukes.

Violence is the least creative method of problem solving.- Felix118, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1i agree... thank you, the link was very intresting...

- moolaismyfriend, on 05/16/2008, -2/+8Why does Bush support the spread of Nuclear technology?
- AtHomeBoy2000, on 05/16/2008, -1/+8He also has met with Saudi Arabia.

To beg them to produce more oil so that we can have cheaper gas and continue to be more dependent upon foreign oil. Piece of ***** is what he is. I wonder if he will dance with the sword dancers like he did in January - right near the place where they have public beheadings.
- Kizilbash, on 05/16/2008, -2/+3The Israelis are not at war with North Korea, duh!
- Gemfinder, on 05/16/2008, -1/+4So it's okay for you to do it but not your successor?
Fail. - Homerr, on 05/16/2008, -2/+2Better watch out Mr. President, you might accidentally appease them too.
- Winston84, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1So what ? Donald Rumsfeld sold them 2 nuclear reactors when he was a board-member of ABB ..
