Media Alert: Barr on Countdown with Keith Olbermann

Bob will appear on Countdown with Keith Olbermann tonight, July 25th, at 8:30 PM EDT on MSNBC (Repeat at 2:30 AM Saturday). Video will be posted on the Barr blog as soon as it is available. Be sure to tune in and support Bob!- sanman, on 07/26/2008, -0/+1Bob Barr is not a real Libertarian. He's just being packaged and marketed as one. I'm thinking that the Democrats are looking to create a Nader against the Republicans, and they want to use Libertarianism as a tool to do this. Notice how all the Left-leaning news shows are bending over backwards to give coverage to Barr.
- TheEngineer2008, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3Good interview. Barr discussed today's impeachment hearing, rejecting the imperial presidency of Bush. He was articulate, and he effectively brought his views to the people via the MSM.
- makenshin, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3I haven't had the chance to watch it yet as I am busy watching the hearings on executive abuse of powers right now and will be for quite some time I am sure. Luckily I already record Olbermann everyday, even if I do not always agree with him, I trust MSNBC more than any of the other stations at the moment. I may already record it, but I wish this notice was able to be posted sooner; I assume it was last minute though. A great opportunity for Bob Barr though and based on your comment, he made good use of it.
- TheEngineer2008, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3It must have been short notice. I happened to be watching Olbermann when he announced Barr would be on his show. Google turned up nothing, but I found the notice on Barr's site, so at least I had something to Digg to share it.
- makenshin, on 07/26/2008, -0/+3Ok, just got a chance to watch it, paused Barr's on CSPAN and will get back to that in a minute. I have to say I do not believe Barr's appearance on Countdown could have gone much better. It's an audience that has not had the chance to really be exposed to him during this campaign. Thank you very much for posting this.

A rerun of Countdown should be starting right now and another in 4 hours, all on MSNBC.
