After at least a year or more blogging on here you know better. I follow your comments as well and to say you have a better side of the cake when it is the same piece is laughable. We have agreed on things and disagreed on things but have remained civil which is why I have had respect for you. I have seen you comment before and you for the most part have been reasonable compared to most on digg and for the most part level headed. Things are heated right now and when you start commenting and saying the things like you just did, maybe I did not understand you the way I thought. You were someone on digg that I had other common interests when I first started commenting with you and it was fine but when it came to politics reason went out the window. We could not even have a logical discussion without swear words and hate speech.

I have taken a smaller interest in Digg lately. I have ALWAYS been nearly catatonic when it came to user names. Yours was only vaguely familiar. i have quite a few I recognize immediately, but yours was not one.

I have said before that Obama wasn't my candidate, but was my choice (for social reasons above political).
Now, the Dems have the "mandate". They own the house, senate, and Exec. It is put up of shut up time.
If they fail, it will be an end to using race to promote economic ideals. Real world examples of success will win out. I relish the future now. I truly believe this is the best course for America.

When the stock market almost collapsed after 9-11 when our financial districts were destroyed and my 401k lost 39% in 5 weeks that was tough, however you never really heard much about the rebound and the success of rebuilding the markets and the extent to which they soared. The highest was above 14k. I made back my 39% & grew my 401k 146% according to my taxes last year.
My point was, tax cuts along with that one shot in the arm stimulus sent things soaring and I am still holding out judgment, like I said I would, but when you say for social reasons, I can not help but think of my own companies and my own employees and their families how they will be effected by raising corporate taxes in a bad economy, forcing small businesses like myself to supply health insurance to all 26 of my employees in one company, 6 in another and my wife has 1 maybe 2 in hers. Only a few that work for me know how much it takes to run my companies and the overhead we have as an organization. Others joke with me and think oh I am the man with all the cash when ever I want or need it not knowing that I hold a very large credit line so that I can make payroll, payroll taxes, insurances, Building rent, lights,etc interest on loans, interests on the credit line (hoping & praying that our clients will pay us on time). If my taxes go any higher I may have to lay a couple of people off which makes me sick to even write as we are a pretty tight group and it would be hard as you could imagine to be the one everyone looks to for answers, one day come to one or more of them and say hey bud times are tight and we don't have enough or I am being forces to pay for insurance so I will have to lay half of you off. That would probably bankrupt me. As it stands I contribute to their insurance in a group policy but to carry them all I could not do and survive.
Your last part. Yes we may yet need friends and family to see each other through this. I look forward to conversing with you about this subject at a later date. For tonight....
