A Longer Race Benefits Obama
realclearpolitics.com — Clinton could still emerge from the "Tsunami Tuesday" voting with the overall lead in delegates, but she is unlikely to be able to come close to clinching the nomination. The longer the race goes on, the better the chances that Obama will ultimately prevail, Democratic officials and candidates view him as the better bet to defeat McCain.

- nihilite, on 01/31/2008, -0/+4It is tragic that Hillary is pulling apart the democratic party like this. Obama supporters would have a very hard time casting a vote for her should she win the nomination.
- ArrowheadAddict, on 01/31/2008, -0/+2I won't vote for her. The Clintons have proved that they can't be trusted. I can't have voting for them on my conscience.
- jphicks, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1I don't think Obama can be stopped at this point, and John McCain is a good man, but if Hilary wins the Democratic Nomination, I have to vote to replace a Republican Presidency. I just don't think 12 years of any one party running the White House is necessarily good for the country.
- Digg413, on 02/01/2008, -0/+1I think for the most part, Republicans WILL NEVER vote for Hillary. Myself included. But I would more likely to vote for Obama over McCain. Though, I'd rather vote for Ron Paul.
- mallii, on 02/05/2008, -0/+0I do not get good vibes from McCain. I sense a bit of war mongering in his mentality and I think it's time that America give warring a rest and start taking care of things at home. There are a lot of things to keep America occupied with at home! I did not fall for Hilary's crocodile tears. Hilary wrote a book about the child being the responsiblity of the community, why are there still so many children living in povety in this here "super Power" called America. Hilary is going to be just a female version of the past. I say it's time to give Obama the chance to prove the change that America needs right now.
