- SamyK, on 03/27/2008, -3/+3We’ve all been sitting back for the past few months, watching the mudslinging from both Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama. Someone needs to quit while they are ahead or the Republican Party will inevitably win. The Democratic Party needs to come together on these issues instead of continuously separating themselves. The words are ‘United We Stand’ – but it also speaks to ‘Divided We Fall.’ If this mudslinging continues, we will not only self-destruct as a party, but lose against John McCain. Basically, what we have been doing over the past few months is gathering attack ad information and tactics for McCain to use after the primaries against us. Clinton attacks Obama in the middle of a somewhat formal debate and Obama rebuttals. The cycle continues. I shouldn’t always say it is started by Hillary, because it isn’t – but it is just a huge cycle. By now, we have gathered all the bad things that both Clinton and Obama have done or allegedly did in the past. We are doing McCain’s work for him. If the Democrats ever want to win the election, they need to get organized; realize the common enemy. My advice to the candidates is to stop digging up the past of your fellow Democrat and start digging up the past on McCain. The Republicans got an easy jump on the campaigning process against the Democrats, and continuing this mudslinging will just make it easier for them. One of the Democrats has to drop their bid. Whether it is Hillary or Obama, the Democrats need to win – and you can’t have two nominations for one party. It sounds cliché, but we need to unite as a party and not divide ourselves. If we see members of our own party as enemies, we are no longer one entity.
- NonLeftistDiggr, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1The universal support for Clinton by the DNC is what led up to this. Given the conditions and popular opinion right now, this should be a walk in the park for the DNC..... except democrats are now paying for enthusiastically supporting two of the biggest power hungry lying machavelian scum bags politics has ever seen.... and now they are entrenched in the DNC. Their integrity dearth challenges the grand canyon in proportion.... there is no need for a democrat fight right now, but you have one, and a royal one at that (worse than Wrestlemania IV even!), thanks to the Clinton's.
It could also be argued Bush II would have never been elected had these two and their cronys actively supported Gore and Kerry behind the scenes however they could aside from public endorsements (they weren't always popular). Instead they put their own plans for power ahead of the health of the party they claim to love.
If you want to avoid this in the future, as you say, promote decent people (relative to politicians anyway), even if they don't speak as well. Obama has dirt, but he is no Clinton (either one).

- Ianki, on 03/27/2008, -4/+2I'm an ardent Obama Supporter, but Dick Morris's bubbling hatred against Clinton is just painful to read and watch. The very first item on his list is something Clinton never actually said, but Morris misremembered, misquoted, exaggerated, and spread this around as a lie on his own. So really, if you start an article accusing someone of being a liar with an unfounded and slanderous comment, you kinda have to wonder about those stones and glass houses. Please, let's keep politics a little higher then this.- buhbyebot, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1*than
- retzed, on 03/27/2008, -0/+2How about this one
*she said that she hasn't lied once over the past 12 years. - smacksaw, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2I was kind of surprised at the list of backhanded praise at the end there. I didn't think they were going there.
Anyway, this is a hell of an article and deserves 5,000 Diggs, but I bet you it will take awhile to get to the front page as it will get plenty of buries. Really, it explains in a simple, list format why she is a liar. We should have people with SOME integrity as president. Maybe I was brainwashed as a kid, but I still believe the highest office in the land means something and that you need to be a good person to lead our nation. She is not a good person. She's just sad because she clearly has mental and emotional issues.
I won't want her answering any phone at any time and I don't want her finger anywhere near the button.- NonLeftistDiggr, on 03/27/2008, -0/+1dude, she just got smacksawed, ouch. integrity ftw!
- BananaGrabber, on 03/27/2008, -1/+2"She thought Bill was innocent when the Monica scandal broke."
Well, that was a low blow. =
actually, I'm not even sure how that's even considered a lie. - E9437, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1shes LYING BEFORE shes even NOMINATED for president.
- NonLeftistDiggr, on 03/27/2008, -2/+2Buried, the technology required to store that much information doesn't exist yet, let alone the software to organize it.
And really, that list is pathetically under populated. - herecomes, on 03/27/2008, -1/+0!. I am a woman.
2. ...being of sound mind and body - doctorfungi, on 03/27/2008, -1/+1I don't think there's enough storage space on the internet to create a list of Hilary Clinton's lies. Especially considering her "millions of words a day" output.
