Forgive me if I got the name wrong, but the idea of it is that there will no longer be secret ballots, etc in the workplace.

Wait until Obama gets in, there is absolutely no incentive to a company operating in the US. Unions want overpriced wages and benefits and work half as hard here. This will be the staw that broke the camel's back. I agree Unions were necessary 50 years ago when workers were abused but now workers are abusing the company.
I knew workers for a now closed Ford plant in STL. The guys that pushed brooms were making $65K/yr. They all worked at a snail's pace. They were simply over paid and under worked. Now the plant is CLOSED! They blame the company but I tell them they're partly responsible because of the union's greed and refusal to cooperate during harder times. Now they have no jobs at all. The plant produced too little and cost too much! I'm sure there is more stories like that all over the country. They are practically forced to move out of the US by unions. Open ballot on union vote is a SEVERE VIOLATION OF PRIVACY.
It affects EVERY WORKER, whether or not you are in a UNIONIZED WORKPLACE.
This is incredibly important.
You know this is why AFL-CIO is endorsing Obama. They want the power. Union and Employer will tear the employee apart.
I know this is UNHEALTHY for the employee. You will CONSTANTLY have to watch your back on EVERY WORD you speak in the workplace if this goes through.
Please do not, I REPEAT DO NOT vote for Obama.
I know this will KILL the employee's voice and make BOTH UNION and MANAGEMENT far more powerful than the employee. I cannot say this in the workplace.
PLEASE!! PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE TO SEND THIS INFORMATION TO EVERYONE.
IF YOU DISCUSS NOTHING ELSE ABOUT THE POLICIES, PLEASE DISCUSS THIS ONE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
You know that if Obama is elected, this will go through swimmingly. Already a Dem House and Dem Senate.. and Dems are about to get filibuster-proof majority.
Please prevent this bill from going through.
Note that UNIONIZATION of my company resulted in the entire business leaving for Singapore. Direct result. In another place, two acquisitions got moved from one location to another - on account of threat of union. Be VERY careful.
I dont want to say that unions are bad all the time. Sometimes, with good balance and good working relations with management, they are and can be good.
What I am saying is that OPEN BALLOT on union vote is VERY BAD. That is what Obama wants.
Please dont let that happen. Thank you.
