- lebevh, on 03/10/2008, -1/+7Keep talking. Inch by inch, over time, you have been drifting in Ron Paul's direction.
- congresssucks, on 03/10/2008, -1/+4Iraq has become a Pyrrhic victory.
- cdiff33, on 03/10/2008, -0/+4The number one threat to the U.S. today is not "Islamo-Facism", it is our own government which is purposely keeping our borders open. The whole terrorist threat is a tool, used and exaggerated to coerce us into giving up our liberties. I agree somewhat with lebevh, Joseph has always been in Ron Paul's camp, he agrees with him on every single issue except for Foreign Policy concerning "Islamo-Facism" but yet for some reason he wouldn't support him.
- CCoburn3, on 03/10/2008, -0/+6"We don't want Iraq to fall into chaos and civil war."
In all of human history, Iraq has been a locus of chaos and strife. If we leave today, there will be chaos and civil war. If we leave 100 years from now, there will be chaos and civil war. If we stay 1000 years, there will be chaos and civil war when we leave. That's how it has always been in the Middle East & that's how it will always be.
If the results are going to be the same in either case, it makes sense to leave today. No need to pay more for the same results. - Libertarian, on 03/10/2008, -0/+5Mr. Farah, President Bush has publicly admitted that Iraq was not involved in 911 and that they had no weapons of mass destruction. We know from the CIA's published reports, following our invasion, that they found Saddam did not have any weapons he wasn't supposed to have. And from the 911 report we know that none of the 911 attackers were from Iraq. ( Most were from Saudi Arabia) So why exactly did we attack Iraq?
I'm glad to see you acknowledge that the US is not the world's policeman.
It seems that you are very gradually coming to understand that Ron Paul was right. Unfortunately you're a bit too slow on the uptake. Its too late for Ron Paul. Now you're stuck with a short tempered, neocon, warmonger. - WLindsayWheeler, on 03/10/2008, -0/+3There are several things in your article Mr. Farah that I question. Invading Iraq? There was no reason to invade Iraq. No law. We were not attacked from Iraq. We attacked Iraq for the sake of Israel and for the Neo-con push to "Globalize and Americanize" the Middle East and to put a huge airbase and listening post smack dap in the middle of the Muslism World. It is about infecting the Middle East with decadent American socialist culture all to the satisfaction of the Neocon/Israeli hawks in our government.
There was NO law, NO reason in justifying an absolute invasion of another country. I point you to George Washington's Farewell Address where the point of America is to STAY out of other people's business.
There is NO such thing Mr. Farah, as "Islamo-Fascism". That is a propaganda Neo-con warmongering term. Do Christians engage in Warmongering and Fearjockeying. Fascism is National Socialism. What does Islam have to do with Socialism? Fascism is a Mass Revolutionary movement. Is Islam a "Mass Revolutionary Movement".
I'm Greek Mr. Farah, (despite my Adoptive English names). Islam has alway been brutal, has always been expansionary, has always been a violent faith. Being "violent" is not being "Fascist". You know what the Muslims are Mr. Farah---Fanatic. Doesn't God love the Zealous one? So If Muslims are zealous for their faith---How does that make them "Fascistic"? If Muslims are willing to defend their faith, and Christians are not---how does that make them "fascistic". I would think Mr. Farah that the Muslim God would rather enjoy his adherents zealousness.
Mr. Farah---you can do better than this. - Creampuff, on 03/11/2008, -0/+3This is really getting humorous. It wasn't too long ago Farah was very adamant about not bringing our troops home. He seemed to think we needed protection from Al Qaeda. (Bush's made up terrorist group) I never did believe this bull crap, it was just another attempt to take more of our Liberties and Freedoms from us.
I guess it really worked didn't it. Well at least it's an improvement and a good sign that surprises, short of miracles, still happen even when least expected. - Darel99, on 03/11/2008, -0/+2The war in Iraq was sold to the American people as a pack of lies and I for one and sick and tired of the Iraq war... Farah didn't mention the suicide rate now did he.... I know how suicide effects families because my father blew his head off with a shotgun.... Who found my Dad? My grandpa.
Did Farah mention the rise in PTSB with our troops?
Did Farah mention the dam cost of the war which we have to borrow from China, Japan., etc.?
I'm so sick of war, war and if I hear the phrase Islamo-f again I'm going to scream.
I have lived in the middle east and only a small group of people vs. the population of any Islamic nation would cause us harm.
Farah, the who Islamo-Fascism has been supported, educated and trained by our own Military... I know this first hand. What is Farah following the talking points of Traitor Bush to keep selling Islamo-Fascism"
Keep in mind Farah supports Torture, he supported the idea of a nuclear strike on Iran without proof of any kind.. Oh wait maybe he would trust Israelis Intel :) If so we are doomed why because Israel has lied time and time again and I say this even though I support the people of Israel.
Farah is looking more like a group of Neocons across the street... maybe he desires to follow the footsteps of some other WND writers who are not spreading lies?
Farah, sometimes it's a joy to read your articles and with articles like this you make me sick and if you haven't noticed fewer are buying the Islam-Fascism issue....
Where is your discernment? Can't you see the CIA uses the people of the ISLAM faith to do there dirty work? Aren't you aware the Dick Cheney confirmed on national tv that we were "Using al-islam-fascism to fight in Iran over the last few years, yet tell the American people that we are fighing them. So at the same time we hired them but also at war with them.
Where is your wisdom and discernment farah? I'll pray for ya but I'm so angry with you. You remind me of my brother I love him so much but at the same time he is one of very few that I can get so angry with. The same goes with you. I think of you as an extended brother in Christ but I get so angry with you when I know your on the wrong track.
Farah, i think your out of touch with the truth of your own website. In fact why don't you sign up for a tour in Iraq and report from the front lines.... Tell us what you see. Tell us how many we are killing and how much the troops want to come home? Tell us about the cash payoffs to the millitary to keep things quiet. Heck, if you think Torture is so good why don't you sign up in special opps and sell your sould to the devil and pull somone's teeth out and listen to them scream.... why don't you grab a rope and tie a wooden spoll at the and and whack someone with it and see how much intel you get that proves to be correct?
Let's us know when your not all talk and show us that you want to join with evil plans and report back to the people. Go ahead join the evil that you support and find out what it will do you as a man, a man who suppose to oppose evil.
In fact I think everyone should ask you to sign up and join the Army in Iraq. They will take ya why becuase you are on record as supporting torture... The president would support you as well.
Find your soul Farah or stop making a fool of yourself.
Who knows Farah maybe some of your points are a sign that you now realize that the Law of the Land should have been supported and instead of BMW about details I think in yoiur own heart you know Paul has great ideas... In the end he did oppose 95% of all the issues you have warned the people about and now one else came even close.
